The SFT football funday on Sunday was a great success, raising over £1,700 for the Trust. The hard work put in by a number of club members, together with the good weather, ensured an enjoyable day for all that attended.
On the pitch, Shenfield retained the Feaks Trophy following an entertaining 5-2 win over our friends from the Hackney Learning Trust, and the 5-aside competition was also well contested.
Off the pitch the kids enjoyed the bouncy castles, the WAGs enjoyed the sun (and helping out of course), the barbeque was very popular, the cakes were nice and we even had the strangest ice-cream van/car I have ever seen!
The first prize in the raffle was won by the ice cream man, who very kindly put it up for auction, which raised over £100. In the raffle there were four prizes that were unclaimed, so if you have any of the following tickets please email shenfield.afc@btinternet.com, they are:- white ticket 89, white ticket 94, blue ticket 98 and blue ticket 258.
Thanks to everyone who attended or contributed to making it a great day.
Please see details below of the Stuart Feakins Trust Football Match / Fun Day. This should be a fantastic event with our friends from the Hackney Learning Trust, and I am sure that all players, club members, friends and family will enjoy the day.

Please note the following announcement from the EOFL website:
It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Charles Rand MBE the Essex Olympian Leagues Patron and one of the founding fathers of the league.
Charles passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Thursday 10 April 2008 after a long illness. Charles was 76 years old
In the leagues first season Charles took on the job of Hon. Fixtures Secretary a post he held until 1971. He also served as Hon. Publicity Secretary during the 1968/69 season.
Charles was also a referee on the league until the end of the 1976/77 season.
In 1971 he became the League Secretary a role he carried out until 1973 when he was made Vice Chairman. In 1978 he was elected Chairman of the league a position he held until the end of the 1999/2000 season.
In 2000 Charles was, in recognition of all the work he had put into the league over the previous 34 seasons, made the leagues first Patron.
At the end of the 2003-2004 season Charles contribution to football was recognised by the Essex County Football Association when he was presented with their highest award the Award of Merit.
His greatest honour was his award in this years New Years honours list of the MBE for his services to football in Essex, and in February he went to Buckingham Palace where he was presented with this award by Her Majesty the Queen an occasion that he said was the proudest moment of his life.
Although seriously ill Charles regularly attended the monthly management committee meetings right up until February of this year.
It was due to Charles vision and leadership that the league grew from having one senior division of just 17 teams to having three senior divisions consisting of 38 teams as well as a reserve section with 37 teams in it.
As a mark of respect all EOFL clubs will observe a minutes silence before their games this Saturday.
Shenfield AFC picked up their first silverware for a few years following a 3-2 over Learning Trust FC in the Stuart Feakins Memorial Match at Mile End Stadium. The teams lined up before the match to be introduced to the dignitaries, including Dorothy Feakins, before participating in a minute's applause for our much missed mate Stu. In an evenly contested match played in an excellent spirit LTFC took the lead within the first minute, and led 1-0 at half-time. Shenfield, under the management of Bob Keeys, equalised early in the second half through Rob Smith, and although LTFC regained the lead, goals from Jon Jarreat, and a second goal for Smith ensured that the first winners of the 'Feaks Trophy' (below) were Shenfield. Many thanks go to all the organisers for their hard work, especially Steve Herbert, who ensured that everything ran smoothly on the night.

It is with great regret that we announce the passing of a great friend and (founder) member of Shenfield Association Football Club, Stuart Feakins, who died suddenly on the 2nd January aged 41.
Stuey, as he was affectionately known, played in the first ever Shenfield game and represented the club on more than 300 occasions scoring 18 goals in the process.
He would always play fairly, giving 100%, and he played the game as he lived his life, with a smile on his face.
Off the field Stuart was a genuinely nice guy with a great sense of humour, who got on well with everyone.
Stuart worked as a manager at the Hackney Schools Mentoring Programme, where his role was to help under-privileged children to reach their full potential. This was a job that he truly believed in, and was an example of what he was all about, which was helping others and making a difference.
As a legacy to Stuart his family are going to set up a Trust in order to continue to help develop and support these children that he cared so much about. (Further details to follow)
He will be greatly missed by everyone who had met him, and will live long in the memory.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to all his family and friends.
Rest in Peace Stu

Before the weekend the Reserves winless streak stretched back 27 matches to September last year, so when Division 4 Champions, and unbeaten this season Great Baddow turned up at The Drive, everyone had away win on their coupons......everyone that is apart from Deon and his team, as a hat-trick from Taylor, and one from Weil gave them a 4-0 win, and turned the form book on its head, more of the same next week please!! The Vet's First's made the short trip to Herongate Reserves, but returned home empty handed following a 4-1 defeat, with Tarling scoring the Shenfield consolation. Posted 17/10/07
RESULTS...Despite putting in a decent performance, the First's lost 3-0 at home to Broomfield. Two goals from James were not enough for the Reserves as they lost 4-2 at Crays Hill United. The Vet's Firsts came back from 2-1 down at half-time to defeat William Fitt 4-3 with goals from Carey, Bonney, Tarling and Chapman. The Vet's Reserves travelled to Benfleet where they were were beaten 2-1, with the winner coming in the last minute. Hearn had given Shenfield the lead early in the first half. Posted 8/10/07

The Reserves have yet to get their season up and running as they lost 2-0 at E2V Technologies. The Vet's Firsts started the season with a bang, six bangs in fact, as they beat West Essex Reserves 6-1 at The Drive. Shenfield's scorers were Chapman (3), Cantwell (2) and Tarling. And finally, the newly formed Vet's Reserves (under my inspirational management) won 3-1 at West Billericay, with goals from Flowers, Maddison and Fordham. Posted 17/9/07

Just a quick note to let those of you interested know what is going on here at SAFC.....
First of all congratulations to Simon Hearn on the birth of his son Jonah last month. I'm told both Mother and Father are having a whale of a time...
Teams - Due to a variety of reasons we have decided to enter just one team in the EOL for this coming season. Mark Fitzer will continue in his role of 1st team Manager in Senior League Div 3.
We have retained a team in the Mid Essex League (Div 3) and this will in effect form Shenfields Reserve XI. Naturally, all players will be expected to sign EOL and MEL forms.
Following on from last years promotion and given the ageing population at the club, it has been decided to enter a further team within the Essex Veterans league. We shall therefore have a team in each of EVL Div 3 (East) and EVL Div 2 (West). Matthew Lovell will be "Director of Football" with Jasper and Daniel Cocklin assisting him.
Many of you know the reasons why we have had to introduce these draconian measures and I shall not dwell on them here. However, suffice to say our discipline will be under scrutinization. I trust that all those associated with the Club will ensure that we do not repeat last seasons performance in this respect.
Our mission is to rebuild and ultimately scale the divisions once again and of course re-establish our Reserve team within the EOL. In order to achieve this we shall need the support and effort of all those players intending to sign for Shenfield this coming season.
Training - This will commence on Weds the 25th July at 7-00 p.m. over at The Drive and will continue outside until Weds 29th August. I would ask that ALL potential players, including those newcomers and our Vets, try and attend some or all of these sessions. Not least to overcome the administrative headache of completing all the relevant signing on forms prior to the seasons commencement.
Finally, we intend to have an awards ceremony at the beginning of September, the date for which will be announced shortly.

The Vet's finished their first season with a win, beating Horndon 3-2 with goals from Lovell, Campbell and Cantwell. Matt Lovell has decided to leave on a high, and has handed over the managerial reins over to Danny Cocklin for next season, but he should be rightly proud of leading his team to finish runners up in the league, and reaching the Essex Vets Cup semi-finals. The First's played with 10 men (9 after losing a player injured) at Shell Club Corringham, where the table-topping home side scored seven times without reply. The Reserves, who did manage to get eleven, went down 6-2 at home to Harold Wood Athletic, with Texeira and Bose scoring the Blues consolation goals. The Vet's (10 players) lost 4-0 at home to Doddinghurst. We should have enough players signed on in order to get full teams out each week, so come on lads, West Ham are as good as down, Arsenal have got nothing to play for, the decorating can wait til the summer, the missus can do your shopping, support this wonderful club of ours!! VET'S THROUGH TO COUNTY CUP SEMI-FINAL...Pride of place this week go to the Vet's, who beat higher league opposition for the second time this season to make it through to the semi-final of the Essex Veterans Cup. Despite trailing 1-0 to West Essex at half-time, Shenfield equalised through Hearn midway through the second period, and two strikes from Tarling put them 3-1 up. The visitors pulled a goal back deep into injury time, but the Blues held on for an excellent win and a home draw against Port of London. Also at home were the Third's, who led four times against Marconi Athletic, only to be held to a 4-4 draw. Shenfield's scorers were the prolific Texeira (2) and Curle (2). The Vet's travelled to Great Danes, and despite me putting a penalty over the bar......the donkey sanctuary, the A12, the Brentwood Centre, Pilgrim's Hatch, we fought back from a goal down with 20 minutes to go to win 2-1. Taunton scored the equaliser, and then a Lovell penalty (better than mine, but hit with so much power (not) that it didn't even reach the net!) gave the Vet's a deserved victory. Posted 30/10/06
RESULTS...The First's lost 2-0 at home to Stambridge in the Southend Charity Cup. The Reserves travelled to Canning town, and despite a goal from Ridge, the home side scored three times, winning 3-1. THE BLUE RIDGE MAN TURNS UP A WINNER, ON THE TRAIL OF THE RES DIV CUP...The First's conceded a late goal at home to M & B Club as they went out of the Senior Division Cup. The Vet's team played their first ever fixture at Grays Athletic, and came home with all three points after a 6-0 win. Goals from Chapman (2), Cantwell, Blunden, Feakins and Lovell put Shenfield top of the league after the first round of results, but remember its a marathon, not a sprint. Posted 18/9/06
MOORE TO THE POINT...The First's picked up their first point of the season following a 1-1 draw at Stambridge United, with Kevin Moore scoring for Shenfield. The Reserves entertained Epping at The Drive in their first league game, but despite a goal from JJ, the visitors took all three points, winning 2-1. THE VET's ARE IN...Shenfield will have have a team playing in the Essex Veteran's League next season, following their acceptance at the Leagues AGM. The club will continue to run four teams, as the Fourth team has been dispanded. Early indications are that Matt (Lovell) will manage the team, with me (Jasper) being tasked with some secretarial duties! I have added a link to the League website on the links page. Posted 16/6/06
COACH TRAVEL TO CUP FINAL...The club will be running a coach for players and supporters to the Fourth's League Cup Final at Maldon Town FC next Tuesday (4th April). The coach will depart from Shenfield Station at around 5.30/5.45pm (to be confirmed), and will cost £5 per person. Places on the coach will be sold on a first come first served basis, so any interested parties should contact Simon Haynes or Matt Lovell asap. The above match kicks off at 7.30pm, and we would encourage all club members to support the Fourths in their efforts to win the club some silverware. Posted 30/3/06
WALLIS BAGS FOUR
...The First's travelled to Linford Wanderers where a Mecham goal gave them a share of the points after a 1-1 draw. Micky Wallis scored all four goals as the Reserves virtually assured themselves of safety, comprehensively beating visitors Takeley 4-0 at The Drive. The Fourth's dropped a couple of places in the league as the were beaten 3-2 at home by Boreham Reserves. Goals from Jones and Chapman were not enough, and we now have to beat the same team away next week in order to survive. There was some good news for the Fourths though, as despite losing to Woodham Radars in the cup semi-final, it later transpired that they had played a 'ringer', who gave the wrong name when he came on as a sub, and we have been awarded the match! The final will be played on the 4th April at Maldon Town FC against Wickham Royals. I'm off now to advise Matt that I am not happy being on the bench each week, and that I should be in his starting eleven for the final. Posted 27/3/06RYAN'S SLAUGHTER...The First's played host to Ryan FC at The Drive, but the visitors took all three points, comfortably winning 3-0. The Reserves travelled to Bishop's Stortford Swifts, and returned with all the points following an excellent 4-1 win, with two goals each for Lynn and Sapsford. The Fourth's were also in a match that ended 4-1, however it was visitor's City Colts scored the 4, with Smith scoring the Shenfield 1. Posted 20/3/06
THIRD'S SUFFER RELEGATION WOE...The Reserves entertained second-placed Harold Wood Athletic at The Drive looking to build on their recent good form, however the visitors had other ideas, and left with all three points following a 3-1 win. The Third's became only the second Shenfield team to be relegated, as visitors Welcome scored eight times without reply. This was their heaviest ever defeat, and means that they will be playing their football in Division 3 next year. The First's match at Herongate was postponed. Posted 15/3/06
HOOP AND GLORY...An injury ravaged First team were knocked out of the Denny King Memorial Cup, going down 3-0 at home to Rayleigh Town. Unfortunately two more players picked up knocks, and Fritty now has more players injured than fit! The Reserves travelled to Epping and returned with all three points after a magnificent 4-0 win. Hooper (2), Wallace and Sapsford scored the goals which resulted in their biggest away win since November 2004. The Third's remain in deep trouble following a 5-2 defeat at Dunmow. The Fourth's entertained Silver End Reserves at The Drive, and appeared to be cruising to all three points when leading 3-0, with goals from Jones (2) and Linger, as the match entered the final ten minutes. However, the away side had other ideas, and scored three times, including a last minute 'screamer' to snatch an unlikely point. Posted 5/3/06

..They think its all over, well it is now......the First's travelled to Herongate and finished the season on a high as goals from Wallis and Kerr gave them a 2-0 win over our local rivals. apologies for not updating this sooner, but I have been basking in the glory of my beloved Southend United becoming champions of the world........well Division 1 at least! RESULTS...A couple of results to catch up on, the First's lost 1-0 at Ryan FC on Saturday, and 4-0 at home to Mountnessing last night. A weakened Reserves did well to lead Manford Way for a while on Saturday, before the visitor's finally won 3-1. Boon scored the Blues consolation goal. Posted 19/4/06
RESULTS...The First's played host to Springfield at The Drive, where a Moore goal gave them a share of the points after a 1-1draw. Posted 10/4/06
FOURTH'S FINAL FARCE...The Fourth's lost their League Cup Final to Wickham Royals on penalties, after the match had finished 1-1 after extra time. Shenfield took the lead in first half stoppage time through Bose, and kept the lead until five minutes from time when Wickham equalised. There were no further goals in the extra period the match was to be decided on penalties. With Shenfield leading 4-3 a Wickham player blasted the ball over the bar, sending the Shenfield players and supporters into euphoria......that was until the assistant referee decided he hadn't played a big enough part in the evenings events, and adjudged that Woodsy had moved off his line, a decision that no-one else in the ground could understand. Wickham scored from the re-take, and went on to win the cup. Posted 6/4/06
RESULTS... The First's lost 2-1 at home to Stambridge United, with Shenfield's consolation goal coming from Maher. The Reserves were also at home, to White Ensign Reserves, but despite goals from Smith and Wallis, it was the away side that took all three points, winning 3-2. The Fourth's travelled to Boreham Reserves looking for some points in order to avoid relegation. They looked to be on course for all three before the ref awarded the home side a very dubious penalty with only five minutes to go, and the match finished 1-1. This result means that if Beacon Hill Rovers win their last game of the season, then the Fourth's will be relegated. Posted 3/4/06
GUESTBOOK...The guestbook is back, but for how long depends on how many people let their kids post entries!!! Keep it clean, and try to be funny. Posted 27/2/06
SHELL T-OIL...The First's entertained Shell Club Corringham at The Drive, and despite missing two penalties (well at least Deano missed two), they took all three points following an excellent 4-1 win. Dean did manage to get on the scoresheet though, along with Bose, Robshaw and an own goal. The Reserves travelled to Shell Club and returned home with a point following a 1-1 draw, with Sapsford scoring the Shenfield goal. The Third's slipped into the bottom two after going down 4-0 at home to Scotia Billericay. The Fourth's match at Boreham Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Posted 27/2/06
WINGER LINGER'S STINGER...The First's picked up an excellent point as O'Sullivan and Borg scored for the Blues in a 2-2 draw at highflying Springfield. The Reserves played host to Rayleigh Town and took all three points following a 2-1 victory. Shenfield were helped to their win as Linger scored a peach of a goal. The Third's travelled to league leaders Welcome, but unfortunately the game went to form as the home side won 6-1. The Fourth's entertained Wickham Royals at The Drive in what was probably an 'interesting' game for the 15 supporters (and 1 dog). Shenfield took the lead courtesy of Kerr, but after the away side equlised, and Shenfield went ahead again through Catterick, the game descended into a bit of a farce, as tackles flew in and players' started squaring up to each other, even on the same side!! The away side equalised, and Shenfield were then forced to hang on for the draw after being reduced to 10 men following a sending off. I would like to make two points: 1) How the ref only chose to send off one player I do not know. 2) This is meant to be a man's game which we play to win, we play fair and we enjoy at the same time, but the behaviour of a number of players showed that this is obviously not everyones philosophy, fortunately this applied more to the team in red than the team in blue. Posted 20/2/06
SMITH STRIKE PROVES DECISIVE...The First's entertained Broomfield at The Drive, where a Brinkman goal gave them a share of the points following a 1-1 draw. The Reserves picked up an excellent three points with a 1-0 win at Ryan FC. Chris Smith's strike meant Tredgett's side completed the double over their rivals (albeit the first game was a walkover!), and also moved them out of the bottom two. The Third's and Fourth's both played away at Focus Ferrers, both games were played on pitches with more sand than grass, both teams only had 11 men, both teams failed to score, and both teams lost. For the record, the Third's lost 2-0 and the Fourth's lost 1-0. Posted 12/2/06
TRAINING...Would all player's please note that training has been cancelled until another notice. Training will resume once a suitable venue is found. Posted 6/2/06
SHENFIELD PAY THE PENALTY...The Fourth's travelled to Woodham Radars in the League cup semi-final, but were left to rue a number of missed chances, and eventually lost on penalties. Goals from Chapman, and a late leveller from me (Hearn) had taken the game into extra time before the penalty shoot-out, which the home side won 5-4. Elsewhere, the First's entertained leaders Canning Town at The Drive, and the away side kept up there unbeaten record, winning 2-0. The Reserves dropped a place in the table as the lost 2-1 at Rayleigh Town. Bose scoring the Blues consolation goal. The Thirds picked up their second league win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Celta Bilisk. Posted 6/2/06
BRINKSMAN ROBBERY...The First's travelled to Rayleigh Town looking to continue their recent good form, and they were not to be disappointed as they took all three points following a 5-4 victory. Tommy Brinkman scored four, with the other goal coming being a Dean penalty. The Reserves had to settle for a point at home to Canning Town, with Bose and Raven scoring for the Blues in their 2-2 draw. The Thirds also picked up a point as they drew 2-2 with Springfield Rouge, and finally the Fourths produced an excellent performance to win 5-4 at second placed City Colts. Two goals for Chapman, and one each for Austin, Ridge and Nolan giving Shenfield all three points. Posted 29/1/06
RESULTS...The First's entertained third placed Galleywood at The Drive, and looked to be heading for all three points when Dean scored from the penatly spot in the 90th minute to put Shenfield 2-1 up. However, as the away side threw everyone into attack the referee, a former Shenfield player, awarded the visitors a penalty for what looked an innocuous challenge from where I was standing, and the match ended 2-2. Shenfield had earlier taken the lead with a Robshaw strike, and finished the game with 9 men as the referee, who will probably remain a former Shenfield player, sent off two players who were incensed at the penalty award. The Reserves crashed out of the League Cup at Epping, as despite goals from Ralph and Lynn, the home side went through 3-2. The Third's travelled to second placed Ferrers Athletic, but returned home empty handed following a 4-0 defeat. The Fourth's hosted Woodham Radars, but goals from Chapman (2) and Bonney were not enough to stop the visitors taking all the points, winning 4-3. Posted 22/1/06
RESULTS...The First's moved into the next round of the Denny King Memorial Cup with a comfortable 4-1 win over Ramsden at The Drive. Brinkman, Borg, Robshaw and Lennon scored the goals that earn Fritty's team a home draw against Rayleigh Town in the next round. The Reserves travelled to Takeley looking to build on last weeks win over Bishops Stortford, but it was not to be as despite a Bose goal, the home team took all the points winning 2-1. The Thrids five match unbeaten run came to an end at Braintree & Bocking, as the home side ran out 2-0 winners. The Fourth's got back to winning ways with an excellent 4-2 over third placed Burnham Ramblers. A brace from Lynn, a rare Ridge goal, and a Chapman penalty getting Matt's team their first points of the year. Posted 16/1/06
RESULTS...The First's travelled to Faces FC and picked up their first point of the year following a 1-1 draw, with Laker scoring for the Blues. An excellent result for the Reserves as they defeated Bishops Stortford Swifts 2-0 at The Drive. An own goal, together with a Smith strike getting 2006 off to a good start for Darren Tredgett's side. The Third's returned home from Marconi Athletic with a point following a 4-4 draw, the goals coming from Campbell, Carey, Kerr and Linger. They are now unbeaten in five games, and this point also moved them off the bottom of the league. The Fourth's entertained Beacon Hill Rovers, and despite taking a early lead through Montgomery, the visitors went on to win the game 4-2. Shenfield's other goal was an own goal. Posted 8/1/06

EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR THE THIRD'S...Only the Thirds and Fourths in action this week, and they both registered 2-0 wins. The Third's entertained Focus Ferrers at The Drive, and picked up their first league win of the season whilst at same time extending their unbeaten run to four games. The Fourths travelled to Frenford Senior, where a brace from Bose helped them to all three points. Posted 18/12/05
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!...The officials of Shenfield AFC would like to wish everyone connected with the club a very Happy Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. Given that this weekend's games are the last before Christmas, Vice-Chairman Haynesy (who has a late pass!!) has suggested a few festive drinks in Holland's after Saturdays games. Any players or otherwise who wish to join him are most welcome.. Posted 16/12/05
COCKLIN STEADIES THE SHIP...The First's travelled to Benfleet this week looking to build on some good recent results, however it was not to be as despite a Dean penalty, they went down 2-1. The Third's are now unbeaten in three games, and picked up another point after drawing 3-3 at Outwood Common Reserves, and finally the Fourths also picked up a point following a 1-1 draw at Silver End Reserves, with Montgomery scoring the Shenfield goal. Posted 11/12/05
MATCHES POSTPONED...The First's and Reserves matches scheduled for the 24th December have been postponed following a decision by the league to cancel all matches on that day. Posted 9/12/05
LOVELL'S CUP WONDERS...The First's were not in action this week, with our other three sides all playing at The Drive. The Reserves played host to high-flying Frenford Senior Reserves, who took all three points following a convincing 5-0 victory. The Third's picked up another point after drawing 1-1 against Braintree & Bocking. No doubt about the performance of the day, as the Fourths beat Beacon Hill Rovers 4-1 to make it through to the semi-final of the League Cup. Shenfield's goals came from Austin(2), Chapman, and an own goal. Posted 3/12/05

SHELL CLUBBED...The First's travelled to Shell Club Corringham and picked up all three points following a 2-1 victory. Robbshaw and Carroll scored the goals that sees the Blues move up the table. The Reserves played host to Debden Sports at The Drive, but had to settle for a share of the points, with Sapsford scoring the Shenfield goal in a 1-1 draw. The Third's are still looking for that first win, but did manage to pick up their second point of the season after a 3-3 draw at home to Marconi Athletic. A brace from 'beard-man' Thurston, and one from Campbell were not quite enough for Cocklin's side as the away side equalised late in the game. The Fourth's made the long journey to Burnham Ramblers, and despite taking the lead through Austin, the home side took all three points, winning 2-1. Posted 27/11/05

THREE STRIKES AND WE'RE IN...The First's played host to Linford Wanderers, with goals from Sunnocks, Mecham and Smith giving them a comfortable 3-0 victory. This was their third league win in the last four games, and lifts them to 8th in the table. The Third's lost 2-1 at Celta Bilisk (again, I have no idea who scored, perhaps someone can tex me!). The Fourth's entertained Mundon Vics Res, but despite goals from Bose and Ridge, it was the visitor's who took all the points, winning 3-2. Posted 20/11/05
DID YOU KNOW...Last season the Third's did not win a league game until the third Saturday in November...no pressure tomorrow then!! The Fourth's are the only team to have scored in every game. When Robin Lynn (joint top scorer with Chappo on 7 goals) scores, Shenfield don't win!

THREE STRIKES AND WE'RE OUT...The First's played host to Thurrock Reserves in the Essex Premier Cup, and took the lead with 15 minutes to play when Griggs opened the scoring. However, they were unable to hang on to their lead as the visitors hit back to equalise in the 85th minute, and then went on to win 3-1 after extra time. The Reserves went down 4-0 at second placed Harold Wood Athletic. The Third's and Fourth's both lost 4-3, the Third's at home to Springfield, and the Fourth's away at Beacon Hill Rovers, with Chapman (2) and Norris scoring the Blues goals. Finally, can the Manager of each team remember to tex me the score and scorers straight after games, thanks. Posted 14/11/05
DEAN DOUBLE SEES OFF ROYALS...Only two of our sides in action this week due to waterlogged pitches at The Drive. The Reserves travelled to Manford way, but returned home pointless following a 4-0 defeat. The Fourth's picked up an excellent three points after a 4-2 win at Wickham Royals. Two goals from Dean, and one each from Ambrose and Jones accounted for their hosts. Posted 5/11/05

FIVE ALIVE AT THE DRIVE...The Firsts played host to Faces FC at The Drive, and despite going in 0-0 at halftime, they ran riot in the second period, eventually winning 5-1. Goals from Robshaw, Sunnocks, Gleeson, Brinkman and Smith got Fritty's reign off to a perfect start. The Reserves travelled to Hatfield Heath in the Essex Junior Cup, but after drawing 1-1 at fulltime, they lost out on penalties, with Frost scored the Shenfield goal. The Thrid's picked up their first point of the season following a 4-4 draw at Springfield. If the Thirds manager can start texing me the scorers I will put them on the website!!!! The Fourth's entertained Bradwell United Reserves, which was the third time they had played them in the last four weeks! Wallis went goal crazy, scoring five times, with Calder also notching, as the Blues won 6-0. Posted 31/10/05
IF THE CAP FITZ...Mark Fitzer was today appointed First team manager, following the resignation of Laurence Keeys last week. Mark had been the Reserve team manager up until the end of last season, and has been connected with the club for a number of years. He will be assisted by Darren Tredgett, with James Mecham assuming a coaching role. Posted 27/10/05
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN... Following on from Laurence's recent decision, on behalf of the committee I wish to advise the following personnel changes:-Mark Fitzer will assume immediate control of First team matters, assisted by Darren Tredgett. James Mecham will fill the role of Club Coach.
I'd like to wish them the very best of luck in their new posts, and would also like to take this opportunity to once again thank Bob and Laurence for their efforts and achievements down the years. I hope that both will continue to be a part of the club going forward to provide valuable advice and experience (I understand that Bob will provide assistance to Warren with regards to Reserve team duties).

SHELL SHOCKED - RESERVES OFF THE BOTTOM...The First's travelled to Canning Town, but returned home on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline. Better news for the Reserves who entertained Shell Club Corringham at The Drive, and picked up their first league win of the season, as two each from Lennon and Fanibe accounted for the visitors, the final score 4-1. The Thirds and Fourths both went down 6-2, the Thirds at home to Dunmow, and the Fourths away to Byfleet. Chapman and Kerr scored the consolation goals at Byfleet. Posted 22/10/05
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN... Please see below the following statement received from Laurence Keeys.
"With regret, I would like to announce that I am stepping down as First Team manager of Shenfield AFC to pursue my professional scouting career.
I am disappointed that the results so far this season have not matched the efforts of the players and I would like to thank them for their hard work. I would also like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to manage the team, Bob for his insight, and Warren for being an understanding and helpful reserve team manager.
It has been a difficult start to the season, but I am confident that my successor will find, with the quality players at the clubs disposal, an upturn in the club's fortunes is not far away.
I wish everybody well and will no doubt be around on occassion to cheer the team on"
I would also like to add my own personal thanks to Laurence. The position of first team manager was never going to be an easy one to fill and the twin effects of relegation and loss of key personnel during the close-season surely compounded his efforts. Laurence has been a significant contributor to the clubs growth and success and I am sure that I speak for all club members in that it would be a great shame if he did not continue his association with Shenfield AFC in one way, shape or form.
And so to the matter of first team manager! Well, it doesn't seem that long ago that we were celebrating his 18 years in charge of first team affairs....so after his "sabbatical", I wish to advise that Bob Keeys has volunteered to step into the breach in a temporary/caretaker capacity with immediate effect. On behalf of the commitee I'd like to thank Bob for assuming the role once again, and wish to advise that we shall be reviewing applications for the post over the next few weeks (assuming of course that the Secretary's post box can take the strain of CV's).
Lets rally round each other and get some results this weekend...otherwise it might be my obituary you'll be reading next!!!
Finally, congratulations to Mr and Mrs Jasper, on the recent birth of their baby boy Luke. Luke has been officially enrolled in the Shenners Junior Supporters club.

BRADWELL DUMPED OUT OF CUP...The First's crashed out of the Southend Charity Cup, going down 7-2 to a strong White Ensign Reserve team at The Drive. Anderson and Smith scored the consolation goals. The Reserves travelled to Debden Sports, but return home empty-handed as despite goals from Bose and Fanebi, the home side scored four times, winning 4-2. The Third's lost on penalties for the second time this season, as hosts Celta Bilisk made it through to the next round of the league cup. The match was tied at 2-2 after extra time, and Celta went on to win 4-3 on penalties. The Fourth's played host to Bradwell United in the League Cup looking to avenge last weeks league defeat, and the home crowd were not to be disappointed as two own goals, and one each from Chapman and Robshaw put Shenfield through to the second round of the league cup. Posted 16/10/05
LEAN DEAN THE GOAL MACHINE...The First's travelled to Broomfield looking for their first win since August, and despite missing an earlier penalty, Dean made amends with a goal two minutes from time to secure a 1-0 win, and a very welcome three points for the Blues. The Reserves entertained Epping at The Drive looking for their first league win of the season, but it was not to be as the visitors took all three points, winning 4-0. The Third's have yet to win a game this season, and went down 2-0 against Outwood Common Reserves. LOVELL AT THE DOUBLE...The First's played host to Benfleet at The Drive, but had the worst start possible as they fell behind with only 20 seconds on the clock. Shenfield later had a player sent off, and the visitors went on to win 4-1, with Dean scoring the consolation goal. The Reserves travelled to Frenford Senior, where the home side took all three points, winning 6-2. The Third's crashed out of the Essex Junior Trophy, losing 4-2 on penalties at Battlesbridge following a 3-3 draw after extra time. Shenfield's scorers were Hammond (2), and Abrahm. The Fourth's entertained Frenford Senior Reserves, and with the help of a brace from Lovell recorded their (our) first victory of the season, the Blues eventually winning 4-0. This was also my first ever clean sheet!! Posted 2/10/05
Claire and I, are very pleased and proud to announce the arrival of our son Luke, who was born yesterday morning (12th), weighing in at 7lb 8oz. I hope Luke, a brother to Alex, will one day be a prolific goalscorer for the Blues (that's Shenfield AFC or Southend Utd, def not Chelsea!).

THIRD'S IN CUP SHOCKER...The First's entertained local rivals Herongate at The Drive, but for the second week running the away side won 1-0. The Reserves travelled to White Ensign looking for their first points of the season, but it was not to be as the home side took all three points winning 3-1. With no wins from their first three league matches this season, the Third's travelled to lower league opposition Felsted Rovers in the Dave Strachan Cup, but despite being bottom of Division 3 the hosts thumped the Blues 8-1. The Fourth's travelled to Woodham Radars also looking for their first points, but with me deputising between the sticks this was always going to be an uphill task, and Woodham eventually won 4-1 with Lovell scoring Shenfield's consolation in the final minute. (Just for the record, I thought I did okay, and Huddo would have been proud of me!). Posted 25/9/05

BLUES FALL AT FIRST HURDLE...The First's kicked off the defence of the Senior Division Cup at home to Harold Wood Athletic, but despite a spirited performance, it was the visitors who made it into the next round, winning 1-0. Warren Keey's Reserve team travelled to Shell Club Corringham in the Reserve Division Cup, where goals from Baines and Bose put them into the next round, and at the same time registered their first win under Warrens management. The Third's travelled to Springfield Rouge looking for their first win of the season, but it was not to be as the home side won 4-1. The Third's entertained Ferrers Athletic, and despite a Halfhide strike, the away side took all three points winning 3-1. No luck for the Fourth's at Mundon Vics, despite taking a second minute lead with a Chapman goal, injuries reduced the Blues to 9 men, and the home side went on to win 8-2. Lynn scored the other Shenfield goal. Posted 12/9/05

The Third's opened their league campaign with a trip to Scotia Billericay, but after taking the lead early on, their hosts hit back, eventually winning 5-2. Byfleet Rangers were the visitors to play the Fourth's, and the Blues again took an early lead, only for Byfleet to hit back and claim all three points, winning 3-2. Posted 3/9/05

(more photos from the day can be viewed in Webs Album)BOB KEEYS TESTIMONIAL....Herongate FC was the place to be on Bank Holiday Monday, as two teams of Shenfield 'legends' fought out a 2-2 in Bob Keeys testimonial. Many ex-players attended the event, with a number not having played together for over 15 years. Among those putting in an appearance were Steve Hudson, Ian Barney, Mickey Cornett, Rupert Nelson, Nicky Duncan, Ben Cocklin, Ian Jordan, Glen Illingworth, to name but a few. Just for the record, the game ended 2-2 with a Nelson own goal and a Robbie Collins strike giving the 'Legends' team a 2-0 lead, before goals from Ian Barney and Andy Hearn levelled things up in the second half for the 'Old Boys'. After the match, Bob and Barbara were presented with a decanter and glasses in recognition of their contribution to Shenfield AFC over the last 20 years. UPDATE FROM CHAIRMAN...Further to my earlier posting, I am pleased to advise that Daniel Cocklin has accepted the position of 3rd team manager. Daniel will work closely with his assistant Simon Thurston during the forthcoming season and beyond (hopefully). For those that don't know Daniel, he comes to us with an unfounded reputation of lacking "bar presence", an accusation that is without substance or credability, and I look forward to sharing the occassional lime and soda with him. Daniel has been with us previously as a player and coach on and off for several years, and it gives me great pleasure to announce his appointment. You will all discover that there is never a dull moment whilst he is around!!
Finally, please make a note in your diaries for the clubs AGM on Thursday 25th August at The Green Dragon PH in Shenfield, where the officers of the club will be ratified (or not). MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN....
In light of recent events and further to my earlier communication regarding personnel for the forthcoming season, on behalf of the Committee, I would like to advise of the following changes in management which are effective immediately:-
1st XI Manager - Laurence Keeys Assistant - Mark Black
2nd XI Manager - Warren Keeys Assistant - Darren Tredgett
3rd Team Manager - t.b.a. Assistant - t.b.a.
4th Team Manager - Matthew Lovell Assistant - Mark Fitzer
The changes have been precipitated by Mark's decision to step down as Manager of the second team. Mark has provided me with his own reasons for doing so which, amongst others, are that he feels unable to apply the same time and level of commitment to the role that it undoubtedly requires. I understand that (for his sins !!) he will be utilising his season ticket, together with his young son Jamie, at one of the premierships most attractive and entertaining teams and will therefore be on hand at Shenfield in more of a part-time capacity.
At this juncture I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mark for his hard work and effort in contributing to the clubs growth and emergence into Intermediate football. Mark has been with the club for 12 years (thus far) and during that time he has been responsible for attracting a significant number of personnel who now regular feature in the Olympian League squad. I am glad that Mark has decided not to extricate himself completely from the Club and from team affairs and I'm sure Matthew will welcome his coaching skills and experience, albeit on an intermittent basis.
With the season a little over 10 days away I would like to advise all club members that changes in personnel occur all the time. We have been fortunate in that we have seen a sustained period of growth and stability, with little turnover of staff. However, times change, and we have to deal with departures as and when they occur as efficiently and quickly as possible in order to ensure that we continue to provide a standard of football that suits all at Shenfield AFC.
There are no doubt some of you who will not necessarily agree with the appointments we have made and that may result in your own departure. That's life, and I wish you well in your future endeavours. The club will continue to survive and we shall move on. All I ask is that those of you who remain and those who might be considering their future, whilst representing SAFC in the next few weeks, give their full support and commitment to those individuals responsible for running the respective teams.
Finally, as you can see we are yet to install the 3rd team officers and I hope to make an announcement shortly in this respect. However, if someone would like to be considered for either of the positions please let Simon or myself know a.s.a.p..
Many thanks for your time

26th July 2005 - FIXTURE UPDATE...Early season fixtures for the First's and Reserves have now been uploaded.. After playing White Ensign in the Senior Challenge Cup, the First's begin their league campaign with a trip to Stambridge United, whilst the Reserves are also on the road as they kick-off at Canning Town.
12th July 2005 - STATEMENT FROM THE CHAIRMAN....Following recent events at the club, the Chairman Mark Cantwell has issued the following statement: I can confirm that Staggy has indeed left the club to 'cut his teeth' in management as the new 1st team Manager at Kelevedon Hatch. On behalf of Shenfield AFC, I would like to thank Nick for his contribution to the club, both on and off the pitch, and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
Whilst I am disappointed to lose Staggy's services (together with a number of other personnel) his departure meant that we had to act quickly in order to install a new club coach. Darren Tredgett, the obvious successor, had been offered the position but declined due to family commitments. As such I would like to advise that with effect from next Tuesday we have secured the services of a new coach, Mark Black, a close friend and colleague of Laurence's and equally as 'decorated'.
As many of you know, after 18 years loyal service Bob Keeys has stepped down as 1st team Manager. It had been at Bob's request that I/we did not make a big fuss over the event and that he wished to move on in due course. However, I am pleased to advise that he will be around and about next season (and hopefully thereafter) to ensure a smooth transition to the new incumbent of the 'hot seat'; Laurence Keeys. At this point, I would like to personally thank Bob for all his efforts and achievements throughout the last 18 years. He has been a major influence in the clubs development from a bunch of old school mates occupying the middle reaches of the Mid Essex League to a club boasting four senior teams, the first eleven of which having won seven trophies under his stewardship. In recognition to Bob's services, I hope to arrange a friendly between a number of 'historical figures' from Shenfield past, followed by a training game for the current stock of players. Herongate Football Club have kindly offered their facilities (pitch and bar) and I would ask you to put Monday 29th August in your diary. Further details will be announced in the next couple of weeks but if anyone from the dim and distant past that has adorned the blue and white of Shenfield and would be interested, please let me know via this website.
Darren Tredgett and James Meacham have kindly agreed to undertake training this evening and on Thursday respectively.
11th July 2005 - TRAINING....Tuesday and Thursdays training will take place at The Drive, Warley. Please arrive at 7pm, for a starting time of 7.30pm.
5th July 2005 -TRAINING.....I know it seems like the season has just finished, but training starts as from next Tuesday (12th) and Thursday (14th), and each Tuesday and Thursday thereafter. The location for training will be given in the next day or so, so please keep an eye on this website for details. All last season's players are encouraged to attend, and any new players wishing to join the club are also very welcome. We run four teams of varying standard to cater for all different skill levels. For more information please e-mail this site.
5th July 2005 - EOFL CUP DRAW.....The First's have been drawn at home to Harold Wood Athletic in the 2nd round of the Senior Division Cup, and the Reserves have been drawn away to Shell Club Corringham in the 2nd round of the Reserve Division Cup.
18th June 2005 - LEAGUE NAME CHANGE......From the start of next season the Essex Intermediate Football League will be reverting to its original name, the Essex Olympian Football League, and the new sponsor of the league will be Baliston (sports and leisurewear manufacturers). Four new teams will be joining the league, Hannakins Farm, Ongar Town, Runwell Hospital and Westhamians.
18th June 2005 - GUESTBOOK.....I am pleased to announce that the 'new improved' guestbook has been added to the website. As you will see, the new guestbook logs the IP Address of each message, so senders can be traced. The purpose of the guestbook is just for a bit of banter, and if other teams who maybe do not have their own website (or maybe they do have a site but it is never updated) wish to contribute to that then thats fine, but keep it clean.
25th May 2005 - RESULTS....The First's played their final game of the season at Hornchurch last night, and went down 5-1 to White Ensign. Jones scored the consolation goal for the Blues. Congratulations to White Ensign on winning the League.
23rd May 2005 - LAST MATCH OF SEASON....The First's will be playing their final league game of the season at Hornchurch Stadium tomorrow night, kick-off 7.30pm. All club members are encouraged to attend, and to cheer on the boys as they face League Cup runners up White Ensign.
19th May 2005 - SHENFIELD RELEGATED TO DIVISION TWO....The First's could only manage a point at home to Kelvedon Hatch tonight, and now hold the dubious honour of being the first ever Shenfield team to suffer relegation. Chris Wolff gave the Blues some hope when he put them ahead ten minutes from time, but the lead was short-lived, as the visitors equalised after eighty-three minutes, and then held on until the final whistle to secure their Division One status. Commiserations to Bob and his boys, lets hope they can show some bouncebackability next season.
18th May 2005 - THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT.....Manager Bob Keeys, and all the First team players, would like to say a big thank you to the travelling Blue Army for their support last night, and last Friday. Bob said 'it was fantastic, and certainly put an extra spring into our step, we easily won the supporters 'match' by a landslide. We will be doing our very best to reward them with good results to finish off the season. The support was much appreciated by the players'.
18th May 2005 - VENUE CHANGE....The First's final game of the season will be played at Hornchurch Stadium next Tuesday (24th), with White Ensign the visitors. Kick off time has yet to be decided.
17th May 2005 - TWO CUPS IN FIVE DAYS.....Shenfield First's produced another superb performance tonight, to add the Senior Division Cup to the Southend Charity Cup which they won last Friday. Up against champion's elect White Ensign, who have won this competition for the last two years, the Blues played some great football, and were well worth their 2-0 win. White Ensign started strongly, but failed to create any clear-cut chances, and as the match wore on the Blues came more into the game, and grabbed a deserved lead midway through the first half, with Kinnear finishing off a fine move started at the back by the outstanding Tredgett. The Blues increased their lead in the second half as Wolff, who was a handful all night, smashed the ball home after being put clean through. Shenfield spent much of the last twenty minutes gamely defending their lead, with all the back four playing their part, and with Plenderleith producing an excellent reaction save from a point blank header. The final whistle was greeted by great scenes of celebration in the main stand, and Staggy was presented with the cup by the EIFL President. The Blues now go into Thursday's crunch game against Kelvedon Hatch in great heart. Well played lads!
13th May 2005 - SHENFIELD WIN CHARITY CUP.....The First's put their league form behind them and produced an excellent performance to win the Southend Charity Cup Final, defeating Southend & District Premier League Champions Rochford Town 5-2 at Eastwoodbury Lane tonight. Shenfield took the lead early on with a well worked Lennon strike, and Gillam made it 2-0 just before half-time. Rochford started well in the second half, and scored twice in the first 15 minutes, with the first coming from the penalty spot. Rochford then had a player sent off for an off the ball head-butt, and Shenfield soon made the extra man tell as Copsey finshed off another fine move. As Rochford pushed forward more gaps began to appear, and sub Watson added a fourth, before Jones finished the scoring with a late penalty. The Rochford supporters had long since departed by the time the final whistle went, and it was left to the travelling army of Shenfield supporters to cheer manager Bob Keeys, as he received the winner's shield on behalf of his side. Congratulations to Bob, Laurence and the lads on a job well done. More of the same next Tuesday please!!
11th May 2005 - RESULTS...The First's travelled to Takeley tonight looking to end for their first league win since 5th Feb, and some much needed points, but the home side took all three, winning 3-0. This result secured Takeley's First Division status, but leaves Shenfield perilously close to being relegated. It will take a momentous effort to avoid the drop, but we have the players to do it, and its still in our own hands!
7th May 2005 - RESULTS....The First's were at home to table-toppers Frenford Senior looking to pick up some vital points, but the visitors took all three points following a resounding 4-0 win. 30th April 2005 - RESULTS....Only one of our teams in action this week, and it looks as if the Third's will secure a top half finish following a 7-1 win over visitors Marconi Athletic. A four-minute hat-trick from Frost (surely a club record), and goals from Baines, Davey, the 'evergreen' Cantwell, and an own goal gave them their biggest win of the season.
28th April 2005 - FIXTURE CHANGE....The Senior Division Cup Final which was due to take lace next Tuesday (3rd), will now take place on Wednesday 11th May. The club are looking to arrange transport to both this final, and also to the Southend Charity Cup final. We expect all playing personnel to attend these matches, and show their support for the team.

13th April 20005 - RESULT...The First's entertained Debden Sports last night at The Drive, but it was not to be their night, as just before half-time, and with the score at 0-0, the Blues goalkeeper was forced to leave the field after picking up an injury. The visitor's took full advantage, eventually running out 5-1 winners, and moved back to the top of the table. Wolff scored Shenfield's consolation goal.
9th April 2005 - RESULTS...The First's were playing at home for the first time since 20th November last year, but it was not to be a happy return as visitor's Harold Wood avenged their recent defeat in in the Senior Division Cup by taking all three points with a 1-0 victory. The Third's entertained E2V Technologies, and took all the points following an excellent 5-0 win. A hat-trick from Frost and one each for Kerr and Lennon extended their unbeaten run to nine matches. The Fourth's travelled to Great Baddow, but failed to show any bouncebackability after last week's 5-1 defeat, as they went down 5-2. Wallis and Ridge scored the consolation goals for the Blues.

19th March 2005 - RESULTS....An excellent week for the boys in Blue, with all of our teams winning. The First's, amazingly playing away from home for the tenth consecutive match, won 2-0 win at Harold Wood Athletic in the Senior Division Cup, as goals from Wolff and Jones give Shenfield a home tie against White Notley in the semi-finals. The Reserves beat Ryan FC Reserves 3-1 at The Drive, two goals from Kerr and one from Luck moves them up to third in the table. The Third's won 3-1 at local rivals Herongate courtesy of a brace from Frost together with a Cantwell strike, they remain unbeaten in 2005. Despite going a goal behind early on, the Fourth's beat visitors Gallabright Reserves 9-2. We would encourage everyone to make use of these sessions, as the Club cannot continue to justify the costs of both of these facilities without your attendance.
5th March 2005 - RESULTS....Due to bad weather the Reserves were the only side in action this week, and they stretched their unbeaten league run to twelve matches following a 2-1 win at Shell Club Corringham. Fanibe, with his 9th and 10th goals of the season, helped the second string to their fifth consecutive win, and moved them up to fourth place in the table. 24th February 2005 - OI OI!!!...Serial greyhound owners The Shenfield Four (Messr's Thurston, Tredgett D, Howard & Fritty), are pleased to announce the purchase of a new racing hound. Although not a pup, not having the fullest head of hair (just a touch of mange we are reliably informed), and prematurely greying, he is younger than you would think and proved this by making a winning debut for his new owners over six bends at Romford on Monday night, at 4-1!!! We will keep you informed of his exploits, and when he is running, and his name....well it could only be................SHENNERS CANTERS (although I'm not sure that the human Canters could actually run 750m). The owners are looking to buy another pup, and current or ex-Shenfield stars are very much in their thoughts as to naming him, so suggestions will be gratefully received, but probably discarded! Please mail your suggestions to shenfieldafc@tiscali.co.uk .

The Third's are now unbeaten in six games after winning 4-2 away from home for the second week running. A hat-trick from Frost, and a Davey strike were enough to overcome their hosts Marconi Athletic. The Fourth's entertained Bradwell United Reserves at The Drive, and despite being 2-0 down with 15 minutes to play, an own goal, and a last minute equaliser from 'supersub' Andy 'Jasper' Hearn (yes, hard to believe I know, my first goal since 1992, I'm glad it was only from a yard or I might have missed!), ensured a share of the points.
16th February 2005 - FIXTURES......The Reserves are at home to Broomfield this Saturday 19th, which was not included on the fixtures page. I am still awaiting confirmation from the Club Secretary on whether the 3rd's and 4th's are home or away this weekend, so watch this space.

For the second week running Wolff and Jones scored the vital goals for The Blues. The Reserves made the short journey to Herongate Athletic, who they had already beaten 4-0 in the Junior Cup, and 2-0 at home in the league this season. The trend was to continue as they won 3-0, with two goals from Smith, and a Denton strike. The Third's entertained Herongate Athletic at The Drive, and extended their unbeaten run to four matches by drawing 1-1. A Bunge own goal gave the visitors the lead midway through the first half, but this was quickly cancelled out by Raven. The Fourth's welcomed City Colts, with Matt Lovell temporarily handing the managerial reins over to........me (foolish move I know)!! My pre-match teamtalk (which basically consisted of me telling them that my previous caretaker-manager record was played 7 lost 7) obviously did the trick as they produced an excellent display to win 3-1. Bose and Flint put us 2-0 up at the break, and despite the visitors pulling a goal back midway through the second half, and Grumpts redeeming himself for bringing down their forward with an excellent penalty save, the game was made safe by an Ambrose strike five minutes from time.

The cost will be between £265 and £289 depending on how many people attend, and our 'fixer' Greg requires an £80 deposit (cash or cheque) asap, with the balance to be paid after Christmas. Last years tour was a great success, (although perhaps not for Bungee) and I am sure next years will be much the same.
