My name is Shelly Turner. I have been writing for seven years and I find it to be one of the most relaxing and rewarding things that I can do. I reside in North Texas with my husband and our five children. I also have three dogs, two poms and a black lab mix that we rescued from the pound. I live in the country where the silence can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on your mood. Coffee is the most important thing of mine...hey we all need a little pick me up every now and then.
Writing is a way for me to escape the hectic days and sleeples nights and actually get something out of it. I enjoy creating characters that come to life in the pages and that I easily fall in love with. I often cry when I finish a book because the characters have won my heart and writing the end means the end of the characters that I became friends with. Sounds a little silly, but when you've brought something to life and there is nothing more you can do it tends to effect you in a big way.
There are many special people in my life that have made me a strong woman and that have stood beside me through it all. Most of all, my family. With five children the days are filled with an abundant of different emotions and lots of joy.
I'm really into school activities such as Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Cross country, football, cheerleading and whatever else my children decide they want to participate in, but wow do them bleachers hurt!
Spell of Passion, a paranormal romance novella I have written has been accepted by Red Rose Publishing and is now under contract. I'm very excited to be a part of the Red Rose Publishing family and I look forward to getting to know everyone that is a part of it. When I find out a realease date I will post it and hopefully I'll get great feed back from readers.
