Curanderas are women who practice folk medicine using herbs to heal. My version of a curandera uses the vessel pendant fashioned as a woman to hold your favorite fragrant herb. I use lavender and rosemary in mine, creating my own personal wearable aromatherapy. Just slide the head up the cord to reveal the hollow body where you can store your fragrant herb or a tiny note.
