Healing Spirit Talk and More

My name is Sheila but you can

call me... “Tess...”

My name is Sheila Darroman and I reside in Miami, Florida.  Firstly, I am the mother of two and I enjoy all things spiritual. That being said, I have traveled several religio-spiritual roads that all lead back to the path that I am currently on. Music is one of my loves, although I am not a musician.  My greatest passion is to help others by encouraging them and helping them to redirect their paths.  My greatest passion of all is functioning in the prophetic gifts.  I love laughing, comedy and just having fun.

After spending many years, on an off in the  Spiritualist Church (I moved and traveled a lot) and functioning as a medium there, and being initiated in the Lucumi Religious System of Cuba in Havana, Cuba,  I have had the opportunity to function in spiritual gifts in variegated settings.  My ultimate calling is to function in the office of a prophet in the church.  I spent my early church years in a holiness church and had my first try at ministry at Higher Ground Abounding (PAW) Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, I also utilize the gift of healing. My last office of service was at Christian Spiritualist Temple (Columbus, Ohio) where I gave spirit messages and participated in healing services.  Being new to Miami, I am looking for a church in where I can really settle in and be a help to the people.  I knew that there was 'something' about me that was different earlier on but I began operating in my gifts about 13 years ago and am now mature enough in my gifts and spirit to prepare for an office in the church.  Besides encouraging and exhorting believers, I envision a ministry that reaches out to the youth that are out in the streets, here in our cities and across the entire world.

I hold a M.A. in two areas of Humanities from the University at Buffalo and  I am fluent in English and Spanish.

All of the above accomplishments were great preparations but my greatest training ground has been my life in all areas other than education and religion.  An important part of my preparation were on the many, many battlefields of my life. I have seen a lot in the world, from the lowest, low one can go through in an urban environment to many of the highs of the high middle class, as I have traveled extensively and had extended stays in a number of Central American countries, Mexico and Cuba.

The name Tess rests easily on my spirit and helps me to keep the prophetess in me alive.  The way I received the name makes it easy for this name to rest on my soul.  There was a church that I used to go to for noon day prayer (years ago), where the spirit of the Lord would lead me to give a word of personal prophecy to the sisters there on a fairly regular basis.  I was not ordained in that church so the elder sisters lovingly called me Tessie or Tess (short for prophetess). I paid no real attention to it back then but as I was reading a book by Bishop Jordan (Laws of Thinking), I came across a part where he says: “When you name a thing you define the nature of that thing.”  So call me Tess until I am fully ordained to this office as it is a reminder of who and what I truly am.
