| The Multibreed Teams |

A multibreed team has to consist of and run 4 different breeds of dog - one cross breed is allowed to count as a breed. You are allowed to use breed dogs from other clubs, provided that they run for no other multibreed team that season. The 5th and 6th dogs can be of a same breed as those already listed but are not allowed to run in the same leg as another of the same breed.
This is the first time in several years that we have been able to run a multibreed team made up of entirely Sheffield team dogs. Not only do we have Sheffield Supermix, but also Sheffield Sortz and Sheffield Shapes N Sizes!! Shapes N Sizes had its debut at Drax in August.

Sheffield Supermix at Drax - August 08
Sheffield Supermix ran for the second time this year at Drax - Monday 5th May 2008. Our running combination for this tournament was Spike (Jack Russel), Bree (Cross Breed), Jay (Border Collie), Ayna (English Pointer) and Hebe (Border Terrier). This was the first time Anya (who usually runs with the Hucknall team), had ran with us - well done Ashley, a brilliant job! Winners of division 2, with a fastest time of 21.21.
Well done!!
Sheffield Supermix ran at Carlton Towers - Monday 24th March 2008. Our running combination for this tournament was - Jay (Working Sheep Dog), Bree (Cross breed), Hebe (Border Terrier), Buzby (Chinese Crested Powder Puff) and Spike (Jack Russel). First time out for this combination, coming 4th with a time of 23.58.

First time out for this team, and indeed some of the dogs too - Drax 5th May 2008. Running combination for this team was Buzby (Chinese Crested Powder Puff), Lily (Old English Sheep Dog), Murphy (Cross Breed), Poppy (Border Collie), Jet (Cross Breed) and Zappa (Jack Russel). First time out for Lily and Murphy, Lily ran faultlessly all day, Murphy had some good runs, but still needing a little more work. The team managed to "break out" when Jet ran to replace Murphy in a couple of legs, but well done to Paul or rising to the challenge. The team was placed 5th with a fastest time of 23.48. Good start for this team.

First time out for our third multibreed team was August 08. Our running combination for this team was Marvin (Boxer), Kye and Inca (mixed breeds), Max (working sheep dog), Buzz (Chinese Crested) and Jack (Jack Russel). This was also the first time out in competition for Inca, she ran well although was a little nervous of the loudspeakers at times.
