Calendar of Events for June 16th 2007

11:00 AM - Gathered in the Sheffield High School cafeteria to meet and greet each other and enjoy a boxed lunch.  There were loads of hugs.  Most of us recognized our classmates but when we failed a quick first name was all we needed.  The cafeteria is in a new location.

12:00 AM - After eating we adjourned to the auditorium to remember the good old days at SHS. Frank Vetters took us on a journey back through the years to 1957.  There many laughs along with the memories.

6:00 PM - Dinner at the Webster Inn - Wow!!  What a night.  It was much too short.   More will be written about our Golden Anniversary Day as Frank compiles his notes...you will do that Frank?  Please, everyone write a line or two, or as much as you like, about our day

Jim Holland gave each of us a musical CD in memory of Mary Katherine Perry.  It has the music from our time in the 50's.  Thank you Jim.   As I am sure others have done, I've listened and shed a few tears of happy remembrances.  Truly a wonderful collection of music in memory of a special lady.

Pat Gibbons Franks brought copies of Jon Guy's piano musical CD, "How'd It Go Today?" (1994).  Such a talent!!  Many of the piano solos were written by Jon.  He was supposed to play piano for our meeting in the auditorium.  Sadly we did not get that opportunity.  Most of the selections are from our youth.   Beautiful, soothing music from a special guy.
