I love to go to thrift stores.  I always find great deals.  You can get a lot for your money.  Most everything in the store is used, some more than others.  To find a good deal you have to look through nearly the entire store.  When I go to the mall, there are many department store with brand new clothing.  Different styles, sizes and colors.  Those clothes are much more expensive than your thrift store prices.  If I were going to buy a present for a friend, I would not get something used, I would want the best. 

God made the ultimate sacrifice....His son Jesus.  It was a high price to pay so that we could put on the garment of praise and the robe of righteousness.  No, He didn't take the cheap option or try and save a dollar.  He gave all He had!  There is nothing thrifty about our Lord.  He is an Extravagant God with good gifts for for us....all we have to do is accept that gift!
