Shaken Up

Have you ever poured a coke and let it sit for a long time?  It gets flat doesn't it?  The carbonation is gone! Flat coke doesn't taste so good either.  What happens if you shake up a can of coke?  You open it, it explodes and spews and fizzes everywhere.

When God fills us with the Holy Spirit, He puts a fizz in us.  Since we are not supposed  to be hermits and keep to ourselves we open up to others and share and Worship publically.  Once we stop being active we go flat. No more fizz.  No more power.  Why does God fill us up with His Spirit in the first place?  To use that filling....to flow in the gifts and minister and encourage.  We have to pour ourselves out everyday in order to get new fizz.   Open up that spirit man in you, empty yourself and go back for more.

Luke 4 :18,19 - "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the opressed, to proclaim the year of the Lords favor."
