My children have to use #2 pencils in school. When they are in art class they use crayons, because they are colorful and allow them to be creative. Most office workers use a fine point ink pen. Sometimes at home I write on our dry erase board with a special dry erase marker. Teachers use chalk on the blackboards. Whe we are making posters that will be displayed for many to see we use the BIG, BOLD, permanent markers! We want to make a point. It has to be clear.
Well, pencil Christians get bumped and break easily. Crayon believers are very colorful and flowery in the words they use. Fine point people are very "one tracked", narrow minded thinking and don't usually see the big picture. Well, we all know dry erase folks in our life. Here today and gone tomorrow. Chalk is like dust particles going every which way. I don't know about you, but I want to be a BIG, BOLD Permanent marker person. Standing firm, not being tossed about by every doctrine, making a recognizable mark in this world for Jesus.
