I think the "Computer for Dummies" book was written just for me. Ok, I'm slow, but I am learning a few things. I know how to email and visit my favorite sites. That's about it. I get a LOT of junk email coming into my mailbox and I usually hit the delete button. For the longest time I didn't realize that just hitting delete wasn't enough. They actually have a folder to save deleted stuff. Go figure. It is not totally gone until you delete the deleted file.
I've found that our minds work that way too. Maybe we've forgiven someone of an offense, deleted it, but it is still there and can be brought back up. How about an old ugly sin that we have confessed and forsaken? The devil is real and he knows all about that deleted file in our mind. How do we delete the deleted files completely? Ephesians 4..."Putting off the old man, being renewed in the spirit of your mind, and putting on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Let God delete the junk completely!
