My kids went for a dental exam today and they did all the xrays to check for cavities and then cleaned their teeth.  Each one got a lesson in proper flossing.  They were told that you have to floss because brushing alone is not enough.  There is hidden "stuff" between your teeth that you can't see. 

When we pray and confess sin we have to be specific and painfully honest.  Blanket prayers just brush over the surface.  It doesn't get the hidden unseen stuff.  The Holy Spirit is like the dental floss.  It gets down in and scrapes unwanted, unnecessary uglinessoff us and out of us.  When sin goes unconfessed it eats away at us.  It rots and decays  God's temple.  (Your body) 

Floss everyday!

Remember...search the innermost parts of your heart.  Search me Oh God, and see if there be any wicked thing in me.
