Wooow, it's been a while since I've updated. I remember saying that I'll update more often, and look how that turned out :P. Anyway, I'm done with the first semester of my second year and it turned out quite well (3 A's and 2 B+'s), I've obtained quite a number of new games, and have done lots of stuff. This past semester I was named the Executive Assistant for the gaming club at school, I attended two conventions (Anthrocon and Furfright), made TONS of new friends at them, and have had more things to do nearly every week than ever before thanks to them. The laptop has been performing excellently, except for the fact that it has Windows Vista and I can't go to XP if I still want sound >_< (My sound card doesn't support XP). The Hard Drive is a tad small (80gb), so I went and bought an additional 80gb external which I found in November was slowly corrupting my files. I went to Best Buy and bought a 250gb Seagate Freeagent which just blows that other one out of the water in every way, shape, and form (except for the fact that the Seagate is a tad on the large side). My uncle just recently gave me a computer he doesn't need any more for me to salvage parts from. It doesn't have anything I particularly need other than two 200gb hard drives. I have a backup computer sitting in my closet, should my desktop up and die on me for some reason, and this new one doesn't have anything that would upgrade it in any way, other than the Hard Drives. I am currently on the hunt for a new car as mine is on it's final breaths and I'd be surprised if it makes it to the summer. Speaking of summer, last summer I was bumped to "coach" status on my rifle team, and have been down a few times to help the new kids learn the different shooting positions, and to make sure they're doing it right at a few competitions. Well, that's pretty much it I guess, so until next time, see ya!

:: Monday 5/7/07

Well, my first year of college is coming to a close in 2 weeks. Next monday is the absolute final day of classes, and the 22nd marks my last final. It's been a cool year, i've made a ton of new friends and done a lot of cool things that I couldn't have in high school, such as a trip to Nintendo World in New York, exploring a crime lab, meeting Dr. Henry C. Lee, and so much more. In gaming news, I really haven't gotten anything new that is worth mentioning other than Pokemon Diamond. I don't care what anyone says, that game is great. In other news, MY LAPTOP CAME TODAY!!!!! Yes, my first ever laptop is sitting at home and I am stuck at work for another 3 hours >_< Also, my criminal Law final project is due tomorrow and I have no idea how i'll ever get it done with my new toy sitting there. Ah well, it'll get done.

:: Easter '07

Yep, it's here. Time for chocolate, family, and eggs. I still want to know how easter came to be associated with a rabbit who hides eggs... anyway, it's been a cool day so far. My cousin, aunt, and uncle are down from Massachusetts, and we're about to get together with some other relatives for brunch. Though, Easter isn't a great time for everyone. My mom just got a call from someone who's dog walked in covered in blood. Apparently, the dog killed their neighbor's outdoor cat. From what we heard, the dog was chained up in their yard and the cat wandered in and the dog killed it. I guess you can't hold it against the dog, it didn't go hunting for the cat, the cat invaded it's territory. The thing is, the neighbor still doesn't know. How do you break the news to your neighbor that your dog killed their cat? My uncle suggested a singing telegram, but for some reason I don't think that would work.

Hopefully I'll be able to get these updates out a bit faster, thought it might be hard with classes, homework, and work. well, it's been a hard couple of weeks but i managed to make it through in one piece. We just had a major snowstorm and school was cancelled. I hear it's a once in a lifetime thing that a college cancels classes, so I enjoyed it. On a more grim note, a friend of mine was just in a car accident a few days ago. She's in the surgical ICU and still not able to get any visitors. From what I hear, they had to remove pieces of her skull to relieve the pressure. She's doing better than she was a few days ago, she's breathing on her own and they were able to remove most of the tubes from her, doctors have also observed her making an attempt to open her eyes on her own. I think she'll make it through just fine. she's a tough girl :). In more upbeat news, I was able to get Compusa's last Nintendo Wii this morning. Ever hear those stories about someone walking in to get something and seeing someone paying for the last one in stock? Well, that happened to me, except I was the one buying. I heard someone talking to one of the guys who works there saying, "OOH!! I WANT ONE OF THOSE!!!" and the guy goes and checks for one, and says, "Sorry, that is the last one." The other guy looked depressed as he walked out. I half expected him to offer to buy it from me, or try to mug me on the way to my car, but he didn't. I was very paranoid as I walked all that way to my car (even though it was only 15 feet). Now I'm sitting at work waiting to go home so I can play it. In educational news, school is HARD. Well, that's normal from what I hear. A 7 class curriculum isn't the easiest thing to go through, since I hear that a friend of mine only has to take 4. My math professor just gave us a nearly impossible test yesterday that I'm sure I BOMBED. Well, it's only one test in a series of four plus midterm and final. He's one of the few who'll not depend on test grades as harshly as others. Well, everyone fails a test sooner or later right? I just got mine out of the way sooner, rather than later, and I can concentrate on aceing the next one! In political news, President Bush now is convinced that the Iran government is supplying deadly weapons to the Iraqi rebels and now he wants to go in there. Hmm... this all seems eerily familiar... Well, I have another hour here, so time for some Half Life! This is Sharpshooter114 signing off.

:: 2/3/07

well, the new year is upon us. New classes, new friends, new everything really. I think i have the most RANDOM biology professor on the planet. he went from talking about about the nervous system and the circulatory system, and then he's like, "let's talk about hyena sex." how he made this jump, i'll never know. Christmas wasn't all that cool for me, i had to work though both of my family gatherings. My brother and I got an Xbox 360 for christmas and i've been having fun with Sonic and Gears of War. I'm at my friend's house and his friend won't stop showing me some of this anime porn comic she brought with her, so i should probably get out of here. (Her general vicinity that is)
