Hello and Welcome to our Happy Home!!!!!!
Thank you for visiting our web page!!! Our name is registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, of whom we are a registered member kennel. We have also been a long time member of The Chinese Shar Pei Club of America, where all Shar Pei had to be registered before the Canadian Kennel Club recognized the breed. We are located in the small town of Deroche in the North Fraser Valley of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Our interest in the breed started in 1979 and we have been breeding Chinese Shar Pei since 1983. We are in good standing with the Chinese Shar Pei Club of America, the Canadian Kennel Club and with our clients.
Our New Pups are Coming Soon!
The first litter of 2009 is expected to arrive in late August or early September.
We are very excited to announce that we are looking forward to new little bundles of joy becoming the newest members of our pack about Labour Day. We have a number of great new folks waiting to make one of them a member of their pack just as soon as they are old enough to move. We hope to have a good variety of coat colours again, in males and females.
We are also excited to have a new male stud finally arrived to take over the duties of our wonderful senior stud, Steve, ( center of the group picture above ) who has been an awesome Dad to many litters of pups, patiently teaching them the rules of the house, cleaning them, taking them out and watching over them. All of which he will continue to do, as the Grand Ole Man of the clan, when our young fellow takes over. We anticipate that our new blue stud man "Dragonsblood Ghost Rider" ( but we call him Johnny Blaze ) will take over his job by fall 2009 with his first pups, hopefully arriving by Christmas! With the introduction of the blue genes ( no pun intended on that one! LOL! ) we know that our colour variation will improve even more, and especially because we have also have a black and a chocolate female, whom we are looking forward to start breeding this fall, as well. We will be posting pictures of the future contributors to the clan soon!
Lots of exciting new endeavours this spring that will hopefully, just like a well planned and well planted garden, bear great fruits come fall ! Please do check in on our plans and progress! If you have a particular gender and colour you are looking for, please let us know so we can hold the pup for you the moment they are whelped!!

We love our Shar Peis and believe in responsible pet ownership and that EVERY dog deserves a loving family to call their very own. Having said this, we are proud to add that we are also involved in animal rescue. We are on the board of directors for Absolute Karma Rescue Society in Maple Ridge B.C. We have fostered dogs, helped with transports and the re-homing of dogs of all breeds.
Whichever breed of dog you do chose to join your family, PLEASE have him/her neutered/spayed. Not only will it help your dog be a better pet citizen, it will also help to reduce the number of unwanted dogs in this world. If you do decide that you want to breed your dog, please make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. The responsibility involved with having a litter of puppies to care for, train, and find good homes for is not as easy as one might think!
