Day 7 (Cuzco) "Work on Bikes"
Today was WORK ON OUR BIKES day for Luke and I. We had not had a chance to get ours worked on as we gave the others a
chance first as they had to leave today.
This morning we said Goodbye to them at 6 am (then went back to bed). We had our cloth saddlebags repaired, our oil changed, new rear brakes for Luke, and my cam chain adjusted plus many other details.
Tonight Craig called and told us that they had arrived in Nazca, but that Ed had had an accident. Evidentually he had road-hypnosis and failed to navigate a corner. He went right into the concrete ditch on the side of the road and into a wall beyond. He was quite banged up, and the hospital was checking him over. One moment he thot he was bleeding internally and the next wanted to get on his moto and continue.....
Tomorrow we plan to head out as soon as I catch up a bit on the website.....
