Not making up much time this way, but we like it here. Time to tear down my moto. In the process I find a broken spoke (and many others loose) on the rear wheel. Guess Luke isnīt the only one breaking spokes on this "smooth" highway!
So itīs back into town for spokes (and some extras "just-in-case"). At the Honda shop they install one and tighten all the others (pix of Paul again at the "service counter"). I could do it, but I may make it worse. Lacing (and adjusting) spokes is an art. The Service Manager wants us to get him some real camo army fatigues... of course he will pay us "upon delivery"... Yeah, right... thatīs the business we are in!
Back at the Hanger I re-assemble the rear wheel only to find that I have punctured my tube! Been too long! While I am fixing that, Paul takes off and comes back with a snap-on, hard saddle-bag and mount as a gift! WOW!!!!! Now I ride in style! (like Luke). Paul and Angie (and thier great kids) invite us to lunch again!.
We finish early afternoon, but there really is no time to go visit the South American mission up in the hills behind Cuiaba. Better get ready for the trip tomorrow. We are invited out for supper by Dan and Kim, and friends Savanah and Alice to an all-you-can-eat pizza place in the mall (the Mall???? (pix)). They are great and we will miss them.....
Back "home"... we will pack in the morning.....
