Day 11 (km 110 to Puerto Maldonado) "Can it be fixed?"
Got up early today to see what we can make of the accident. Somehow we had to get to Puerto Maldonado. We pulled everything together and went out front to see what transport we could find. Within an hour we had a small mini-bus loaded with the broken moto and Luke. I rode on ahead to find a mechanic and lodging, etc. By the time Luke arrived (5 hours for 
110 km!) we had everything arranged and we went to rest up at a nice little 3 star called Cabana Quinta with wireless!.
We have not been able to finish the moto today. Hopefully we can tomorrow, but in a way that is good because we need to mentally get back on track (much less wash clothes, mend the saddle bags, etc). 
The camera has stopped working (I think it is just full).
I called my wife Sara and let her know what had happened. She just wanted to talk to her 6-foot baby boy just to be sure I was telling her the truth that he was OK!
We watched the Copa America and are going to bed early tonight (in a room with a fan!)......
