Shannon World is a place for preteen and teen girls to have fun and get creative. Please follow these rules to keep Shannon World a safe, clean website. If you do not follow these rules, I will be forced to shut down the site. I have had to delete some fun things because people were taking advantage of them and talking innapropriately. Please listen to the rules so that Shannon World can continue to operate. There is never a time when the rules are not in effect. Read them before doing ANYTHING. Thank you.
1. Never give out personal info! When using chat, shoutboxes, blog, etc. please do not mention your full name, adress, town or city, phone number, or anything else that is personal. First name, age, and state is ok but NOT anything else. Here at Shannon World we want to keep you safe, so please help us help you.
2. Never use curse or dirty words!This is a kid site. That means NO DIRTY LANGUAGE WHATSOEVER. No exceptions. We want this clean. YOU WILL BE DELETED IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THIS RULE.
3. Never insult someone! In chat or shoutbox, never insult ANYONE. Please respect others and accept their opinions. You are free to debate topics but don't turn it into a put down war. CYBER BULLYING IS FORBIDDEN. If anything like cyber bullying or online harrasment is happening to you REPORT IT TO ME IMMEDIATELY AT THE REPORT PAGE.
4. My chat boxes and shoutboxes are set to filter any profanity, or innapropriate talk. BUT if something happens to go through that is not appropriate or nice please report it. THIS IS A RULE. If you do not report things like this, i cant fix it and it makes the site terrible. Please report!
5. Don't pose! That means no pretending to be a different person on the web. In other, words dont pretend to be a 10 year old girl when you're a 49 year old man! It's not right!!!! AND YOU WILL BE BANNED
6 When filling out a form in the surveys and contests section, please tell the truth. All of your info is kept private. I only take it to make the site better! So dont worry. The only things that i post (rarely) is your first name, age and state. If you feel uncomfortable telling me anything, feel free to not fill it out or type no thank you in the box. That's fine.
7. This is not a dating site! Dont even SUGGEST dating on this site. Its not what the site is for. Please listen! USE THE SHOUTBOXES FOR TALKING ABOUT THE TOPIC GIVEN NOT SAYING INNAPROPRIATE STUFF. PLEASE
8. I have a limited amount of forms I can recieve. When entering contests, sending me feedback, etc. DONT SEND USELESS STUFF. Sending a fake URL to a contest in NOT acceptable. And please do not send multiple forms including all different stuff. If you want to email me, send in a story, and fill out a survey all in the same day DO IT IN ONE FORM. Just go to Email Me. Copy and paste the Stuff By You, Survey, etc. form to the email me layout. I'll STILL get everything, but I'll have more chances to recieve forms. PLEASE remember this. And if you send me an email and realize you forgot something, just go to the guestbook and add it. YOU DON'T NEED A MILLION FORMS!!!
