Shannen was rumored to participate in 'Dancing With The Stars'. but she denied it saying : "No, I would never consider it because I’m not a fan of live audiences and being judged!”. She is, however, a big Simon Cowell fan, the 'American Idol' & 'Britain's Got Talent' judge, adding: “I walked by… I was waiting for Simon to shout out something like, ‘I don’t like the look.’” Shannen added, laughing, “Simon, you’re just rude, beyond rude, and I still like you!”
Meanwhile, she is now working on a new television film named 'The Beautiful Outsiders'. She will be playing Sarah Fugate,a prostitute who goes on the run from the law with ex-con Jason Starkweather (Cameron Douglas). Shannen replaces the previously attached Tara Reid who had to leave the project due to a scheduling conflict. They will be shooting the movie in the UK.

I'm so sorry I haven't been updating as I would like to but I've been really busy, you know...school. Apparently, Shannen's new film 'Resistance' has been sold to Europe & won't be premiered in North America. Also, I've found some photos: Shannen has been out there in some Hollywood parties, there are new stills from the season finale of '90210' & there's a new photoshoot by boyfriend/photographer Kurt Isvarinko.

I'm happy to see Shannen out there having fun lately. She attended yesterday to the Grand Opening of Gentlemen's Club and Prime 333 Steakhouse with an amazing dress & a beautiful look. I'll say this again, she's now 38 years old, soon to be 40 & she's better than ever. Also, I'm not glad to say, Shannen's dog died on April 21. She's very moved, of course....you can see by clicking here, they way she expresses how sad she is (crying) by her lost. Also she talks about the economy now days....such an inspiration. Hey, Miss Shannen, I'm so sorry for your lost. We know how much you love your pets & how bad it is to lose one after years. You have our support ♥

According to TV Guide, Shannen won't be back for the second season of CW's '90210'. "I don’t know, I think I did it,” she said at the opening of the W Hotel in Hoboken, NJ on April 23. “I did it with Gabe [Sachs] and Jeff [Judah], who were my producers before. I love the [new] show runner. I think she’s amazing, but I think her idea of moving forward with the new cast and not bringing the old cast in to distract, I think that’s actually the right thing for 90210. I support it 100 percent.” But she does have ideas about what Brenda might be doing in five years. She tells TV Guide Magazine she envisions her, “Oh, with a kid and living in, like, India. I think Brenda always surprises you. I think she’s abstract, I don’t think you can pin her down.” & what about working with her old co-star, Jennie Garth?: “I enjoyed thoroughly my episodes with Jennie,” Doherty says. “I adore her, we have an amazing time working together. The one thing I can really say about the new 90210 is it reconnected me with somebody who when we were 18, we weren’t on the same page, but at our ages now we looked at each other and recognized something. Now we’re really good friends—and I love her.” Tori Spelling is apparently a different story. “I last saw Jennie a month ago on set and talked to her a week ago. For Tori it’s been a long time,” Doherty said. “I think it was when her show NoTORIous was coming out she wrote me a long letter asking me to be on it, and at the time I didn’t want to do it and that was it.”

It seems Shannen still has some impact on people, & not only her fans. I'm happy to say that producers accept that if it wasn't for Shannen or Tori or Jennie, CW's '90210' would be now a memory for the writers. Shannen's first episode rased ratings up to 5.14 million viewers, making a breaktrhough on the CW, because they never had a rating above. With each apprearance, Shannen brought up to 3.3 million viewers. That's great, girl, keep the amazing job!!
