I'd like to think i'm not but the irrefutable evidence is not in my favour.

There's all these tips and strategies but none of it will mean anything if I can't get myself to the point where I WANT TO re-learn financial accounting.
The Core Knowledge Exam (CKE) is the first of 3 exams and is a 4 Hour multiple choice (MCQ) exam. The only multiple choice exam. Tax and Financial accounting seem to be my weakest areas mainly because when I learnt them initially, I have to admit it was only for a time. Assurance I retained a good portion of what I learned and Manageri...

Still have my job, which has been amazing thus far. Got to make 5 trips to Detroit in a 2 month period! Yes, Detroit may not have been the destination of choice but, it was still a very good experience.
I've since learned to use Visual Basic both in MS Excel and PowerPoint, used a host of other software, understand the inner workings of various organizations and there is still soo much left to learn.
It's tough adjusting to working life when i'm so used to chilling most of the day...

So when I left you, I promised I would update you on what happened with the viewings we had yesterday (Saturday 23-Jan). Well, that didn’t happen. Sometime during the morning I got an email that would change, maybe my life. Basically, my roommate to be sent an email stating that he decided to stay at his current residence and commute to work. That meant I now had to find a bachelor apartment or a one bedroom apartment depending on price. I immediately called the real estate guy to cance...

continued from What's Next
After some back and forth, we set up our first viewing and out of 3 potential places, one was good. Let's just say the first one was "dated". It was close to the subway station and the Tarragon Theathre which was nice but the place was OOOOLD. The Bathtub looked like something that stepped out of the early 1900s. It was one of those tubs that, it's best if I just show you an example.

I apologize to readers if it has been a while since my last post. I have been at an impasse you might say; trying to find the topic(s) that would keep my readers interested now that I have a job. I am still working on those ideas which include me trying to become the next Rachel Ray or helping you do various things on the computer through a how-to blog. Then there’s the do what you know concept which for me would be TV and Technology, be it movies, tv shows, the latest phones, devices, ...

Hope everyone had a great holiday and celebrated the arrival of 2011 in good company. I am happy to say that after 6 months of unemployment and 4 months of job searching, I finally have a job. As long as the wait was, it paid off in the end and although it wasn't something I could wrap, I would say I got a great christmas present. Come February 7th, I can officially be touted as an employee of, the world's #1 Professional Services Firm,

It’s now into the third week since my interview and initially I was stoked but now that excitement has since dwindled. It’s hard to keep thinking I got the job when, with each passing day you don’t have a confirmation. I am trying to be patient but finances are looking a bit bleak and the family is now worried.
It will be going on 6 months since i’ve graduated, but three since I began my job search. Maybe I should have not had a 3 month long summer a...

Soooo, I have actually been excited about posting this entry but wanted to give you guys some time to absorb my other posts. Too much of one thing is not always good for you.
Moving on, the interview! It was amazing, unlike any i've ever had. To prepare, I went over various types of interview questions and pretty much dissected my life searching for situations that demonstrate the abilities sought. Well, that was not necessary because I had never been so relaxed in an inter...

It’s been a few days since my interview and I’m thinking I might just have to take some anxiety medication. More on the details later this week. From the interview to receiving that coveted offer or rejection, I would surmise as the one of the most unsettling times in a person’s life. Not knowing whether you got the job or thinking that it’s in the bag and it turns out that wasn’t the case. It’s only made worse if said individual is on employed.

It's been about a week since my last update and I ended by telling you about the email and what I hoped would happen. Buckle your seatbelts and brace for impact because have I got news for you.
Let’s recap, shall we. Not long ago a friend emailed me asking for my resume because he would pass it on to a recruiter. The recruiter had asked him to recommend someone and it was nice of him to think of me. I also hoped that I would wake up one morning to a ringing phone with...
