We know what your thinking: YES!! THIS RULES!!

THE CHEAP ESCAPE:  the culmination of years of jamming by Several musicians, artists and hangers-on alike in the selkirk area.  Our music lays waste to all shitty bands.  Our motto:  Keep it clean, hoochies!  We keep it clean, but we ain't hoochies.  No drugs, no booze, (for cody and shane those are more guidelines than rules,CODY: oh yeah they are most definitely guidelines)  just straight rock. 

Mixing hardcore punk rock with metallic riffs, sweet metal solos,  melodicism and overthetop showmanship/musicianship and Thug Lovin's Hardcore hip hop derogatory Slanguage (damn crackas always keepin me down!!!!!),  we're the band to lead this sorry ass rock climate to......umm...a good ass rock climate.....mmmmmm.....temperate!!

Our bands priorities:1-Pussy!! 2-Cigarettes!! 3-Oxygen (i guess, i read something about requiring it to live) 4-eating.  Somebody: "what about playing??"  Us:"yeah playing, we do that when we get no.1-4!"

Our jam space is the enviable space known as THUG LOVIN'S BOOM BOOM ROOM!!  All broads and dames invited!!!  Actually anywhere we go is technically THUG LOVIN'S BOOM BOOM ROOM.  It's more of a state of mind than a place

About your new heroes:

Shane: is known for his sweet web-slinging abilities.  And his astonishing hitman skills.  He has his own fiber wire!!!!! Really!!!!!  He likes to play bass.  He's got a Yamaha bass that's red with EVH racing stripes.  He's got this amp with a sweet effect.  It's called "Shitty Amp".  It's in every song!!!!! 

Cody:  is known for propulsive drumming.  Blastbeats and shizzat.  He once tapped out mid song.  Shane on Cody:  "What can i say about cody?  he's one of those guys, you know?  The one's who hang around musicians.  What are they called?  Drummers?"  He's got a Pearl 5 piece drum kit.  Not to mention he's been the only drummer for Five Fucking Years!!!

Orvis:  is known for catchy hooks, arena sized riffs. power anthems, and sweet metal solos.  Shane: "Hey!! That's what I'm known for!"   Orvis is also known for livin like "it's hip to be square." Orvis is also also known for taking perfectly good guitars and fucking them up to his liking!!!!   Orvis plays a white Les Paul and  his number one guitar is a green seethru BC Rich Mockingbird with a beater Strat neck and a Les Paul pickup.  You can see a pic of the Strat in working condition at the pic section.

The Cheap Escape, rhymes with "the cheapest cape." Which is what Aaron wears when he dresses as Superman!!! Regina rhymes with fun.

Orvis and Cody have been jamming together since October 2000.  Maybe earlier.  Shane joined up in september 2004.............and made us cool........or so he says.  We finally got around to jamming together in January 2005 after countless bassimitar lessons! Just kidding, he still don't know what to do with it!  We cover songs like I'm Not Okay by MCR, Gel by CS, All My Life by FF and hash Pipe by Weezer all outfitted with bigger hooks and tighter riffs and sweet metal solos, not to mention a bunch of jams with sweet metal solos.

"HOT ASS ANGIE PRINGLE" is one of our more hardcore punkpop tunes. sample lyric:"I MISS THAT ASS"  Is that not a hit? it's in A major.....a very sweet metal solo friendly key!!

"GET THAT LOVIN' FEELIN'" - in D major, the biggest hit you'll ever hear, with it's melodic ascending line and jazzy chords.  and the sweet metal solos are said to cause your girlfriend pleasures you'll never give her.  If this is not the best song you've ever heard in a long time, speak now or forever shut the fuck up!!!

"SHOT THROUGH THE HEART" - in A major, the only tune to put getting shot through the heart in a poppy context.  "OH LOOK AT THAT I'M SHOT THROUGH THE HEART!"  Shot through the heart by what you sasy?? Yeah I know I said "Sassy!"  By lust!! thats what!!! And you'll all lust for the sweet metal solo in A major!!!

"PUSSY & CIGARETTES (THE THINGS THAT MATTER MOST)" - This song is our anthem and credo!!! Uh........one of our many anthems and credo....s!!   This tune is about what matters most to the band!!!

"OOO-SOMEDAY"  - imagine, the perfect power pop song played with punk rock energy, and "tight-as-your-girlfriend's-taco" hooks (how I know.....never you mind)  , and washed down with a 12/8 meter chorus.......mmm.......chorus!!!!!!!!!  And the sweet metal solo drizzled with extra sweet is completely "melt-in-your-mouth"!!!    Just like Cody!!
