And I wouldn't live anywhere else unless you count 5 months of freeze your butt off cold and snow ....2 months of sleet mixed with more snow...2 more months of usually just rain and 3 months of mosquitos.
But on the good days it is glorious. Wild trillium and May apples cover the forest floor. Woodpeckers telegraph all the good news. Frog song all night long.
It is those few days that make it worth the rest....
and hibernation!
