Layout Stuff

Firstly, let me apologize for the lack of updates. I've been extremely busy, with band camp, notes for school, friends and family, working on the new layout, etc. Hopefully I'll have time to make that up to you once school starts.
My current plans are to find a new host, then finish the layout. The new layout will go up on the new host, and then I'll procede to move over all the pages, revising them as I go. Right now, my biggest dilemna is finding a good host. The layout progression is going good, although I have to say the leaf in the previous update really isn't a clue anymore.
Two affiliates were removed for various reasons, as well. Aaand that's it. *walks away*

Sorry for the sorta in-frequent updates... I actually did something this time! =D There's two new pages, a Healing Methods guide, and an "About Final Fantasy CC" page. Whoo, two pages in one day. Oh, and I have a Secret Bases guide coming up, as well as the HTML guide and ideas guide that I have yet to finish...
OK, another thing. A new layout is coming! Hehe, I'm not going to tell you anything about it, except it's going to be awesome. The only clue you're getting is this...

Hey everyone, sorry for not updating. First off, we have a new affiliate, MF Lair. I'll get a link on the sidebar as soon as I can.
I want to do so much for this site, but I'm not getting anywhere. Runescape has become way too addicting, as well as other things. I'll make a list of what I'm planning... probably in the order they'll get done. I don't know, though.
- Finishing that ideas guide
- Separating the affiliates into groups
- Making a mini site for my sprites
- Possibly opening some contests
- Make some more guides, probably spriting
- HTML guide
- More game information
- Working on the Final Fantasy section
- Working on the Pokédex
- Make a new layout
- And there was something else...
Like that's all going to get done anytime soon. =/

Hey, everyone, I'm back! Up north was pretty fun, but it's good to be home. =)
I started a Final Fantasy section. It's down on the bottom of the menu, and I put up a page with a list of artifacts. Soon I'll have more information, as well as pages to clarify what the game is, for people who don't know. Once I have a good deal of content there, I'll break it off into its own site.
I'm soon going to have some information on Red + Blue and Gold + Silver, since I recently restarted Blue and Silver version. The first pages that'll be up will probably be (incomplete) gym leader pages, and possibly general information pages. I'm also going to re-do the current info pages.
I've figured out the only reason I've delayed Skitty's page so long is that I don't want to go to the trouble of uploading two sprites for every Pokémon, and then never be able to find them again in the 20 some pages I have on Imageshack. Therefore, I might try Photobucket for those, so I can keep them all organized in albums. Dunno, though.
I'm trying to balance out the menu, seeing as there's a few sections with a lot of pages, and some with only one or two. I'll slowly add more pages to those smaller sections.
I am making an adoptables page that I'll put up in a few minutes.

OK, I'm leaving to go up north to our cabin tomorrow. I may be bringing my laptop, but either way, I almost definetaly will not have internet access. I won't be back until Sunday, so I need everyone to keep an eye on this place, OK? I'm trying to find someone who can watch over the forums and the saybox, but if I don't, I'm just going to ask that the members and visitors take can of it as best they can. Thanks, everyone!
As for an actual update, I edited the Emerald Gym leaders page, adding a list of the Pokémon that each one uses. See everyone soon!
Okay, here's what's going on.

Okay. The Pokédex is back up. As of now, there is no more information than there was before. There's still only Bulbasaur through Beedrill, but I'm shortly going to do Skitty for the Pokémon of the week, seeing as Skitty clearly won. I will also add more pages, and I will probably re-model all the information. Gosh, I'm such a neat freak.
Since the Pokédex has been re-done, I need to re-do the secret link game, seeing as one of the links was inside the Pokédex. Well, really, I don't need to, but I'd like to re-do it anyway.
I am also working on the episodes. I'm creating a list of every episode, then I'm going to slowly write guides, summaries, and maybe reviews of the episodes I have taped. I'll try and get as many tapes or DVDs as possible, so I can write as many guides as I can.
I've recently started playing Pokémon Trozei again, and, my gosh is that game fun. I'm going to create a few Trozei pages, as well as write reviews on some of the games.
Overall, I'm going to write a lot of content for this site. I've been strongly motivated by quite a few things, first, I've noticed that last week, AMC was getting about 20 unique hits a day, while already in the beginning of this week, we've almost hit 30 a day. I've also watched this site in the topsites listings, and I've noticed a lot more hits there. Thank you, everyone who visits and votes for AMC! ^_^

Yay, we have a new affiliate! Welcome to Shimmer's Glow! Give them a visit; it's a really neat site. ^_^
I also changed the rules for the Poliwag award. Before it said that if you ask I won't give it to you, but I changed that. So... yeah, you can ask for it if you want, your chances might be lowered, though.
I'm happy to announce that the forums are ever-so-slightly less dead. I guess I was being too impatient, but... still go join! =D
The Pokédex is underway. I'm adding the information from the old Pokédex, and I will add some more, I think. I may just add what I already have and then work on adding more information and organizing it before I move on. *runs for no particular reason*

Doesn't anyone here visit the forums? They're as close to dead as the living can get. We have 7 registered members, 2 that haven't posted at all, and out of the ones that have posted, none of them have posted more than 3 times, excluding me. There's 5 validating members that haven't bothered to even ask to be validated, let alone read the rules and tell me the passwords. Out of a total of 32 posts, 23 were by me, 24, actually, because I posted as a guest, too. 24 out of 32 posts are attempts to bring the forums back to life. But I wonder, were they ever living?
The new Pokédex is under way. Note that right now, the menus won't work, and the stylesheets and banners will not show up. For the time being, it's just going to have to be like that, because I don't see the point of fixing it if I'm just going to get rid of it anyway. Thank you, Articuno, for pointing out one important error there, that has been fixed. :)
New layout, new updating style, new plans!

The new layout is here, everyone! It is a fire layout, as you can see, and it's name is Flames of Glory, or FoG for short. I have hover-overs for the affiliates and the saybox skin has been changed to match it. I will soon add hover-overs for the topsites, clubs, and stats, but for now, they are fine how they are.
There is a new updating style as well. I think this will look much nicer and will be a welcome change.
Now, I plan on re-constructing the Pokédex, as well as adding much more information, and creating a Final Fantasy section. Enjoy!

OK, well this is pretty much an update just to let you know that I'm here. I'm busy working on a layout for somebody, as well as playing Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals. XD I've updated the to-do list, so you can see what I'm working on... that's it for now. Bye!
Edit: I finished the layout for Houndoom. I'm going to work on the new layout now, but I wanna make a Final Fantasy section sooo bad! I wanna get the new layout up first though...

Ahhh so sorry for the lack of updates! Well, we have four new affiliates!!! OMG that is a lot! ^_^ And they are: Team Rocket's HQ, Aquastar Valley, Aqua Pokemon, and Poke-Storm! Yay! Go visit all of them!
There's a new link button for you to use that I'll have up in a second, and I'm going to redo the secret link. I might eventually redo the entire game, but for now... and the old updates have been moved to the archive.

New layout! Well, sort of... 5-19-06
If you haven't already noticed, the layout has been greatly modified. I basically changed the headers and the banner, but I think it looks much, MUCH nicer. I'm working on the hover links, but as of now, I might just skip them. Also note that the affiliates say "Normal Affiliates". That's just because I made headers that say Top, Normal, and Small Affies, and I'm currently not going to split them into groups, so I thought I'd just use that one.
While we're on the topic of affiliates, we have a new affy, Polkadot Mania! Go check them out! It's a nice site.
Edit: Almost forgot! Absol's Moonlit Cave now has 2,000 hits! Yay! Thank you to everyone who takes the time to visit my site! I appreciate it!

OK, well I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't been able to update much. I'm finishing up the surprise. I'll probably have it up either today or tomorrow, so... ^_^ You may wait in suspense. I'm also planning on fixing the layout a bit, so it's a little more organized, and so it'll fit exactly in a 800 by 600 resolution. Yeah, so that's really it. I might update later.

Well... maybe it's just me... but the saybox is kinda like... not working. At least not on my screen. I'll work on fixing that if it continues.

OK, now what I know you all want to hear. Well, I don't have any new pages up, but here's the thing. I have this spiral that I have some writing in. And recently I stapled a whole mess of sheets of paper together and stuck them in the front of this spiral. Then I took a few pages out of that spiral and stapled them to the blank pages. And now about eight of those blank pages are filled. With writing. About Pinball. And Emerald. So that means I have about nine pages I can add to the site. Whoo! Go me! But here's the other thing: I was sick yesterday so I missed school. So I have more homework. And here's the last thing: I signed up for Runescape. And I'm quite enjoying it. So the bottom line is: *drum roll* I have a lot of pages to add, but they might not be up for a while. Yah know what? I coulda said that whole thing in one sentence... XD

Also, I'm planning on making a RS pinball section. Recently I've just been addicted to that game... XD I'm also planning on making a free section, and a section with my images in it. But for now, I'll just add what I feel like adding. And right now I feel like adding a mini ticker. So I think I'll go do that. *nods* And then maybe I'll add a splash page.
Edit: I added the mini ticker. I just need to write something in it, now... I'm in the process of making some Pinball pages, too.

Edit: All righty. I added a Raise a Pikachu game. Yes, I know it's the same one that's on almost every site, but once I learn a bit more about javascript, I'm going to play around with it and make it a bit different. For now, I changed the background color so it's yellow instead of red... that's a start, right? Anyhoo, I'll look at that tomorrow (maybe). And I tried adding alternates to the menu links, but for some reason they're not working. I'm really tired right now, so I'll take a look at that tomorrow, too.

I'm almost done with the abilities. I'm going to add some other stuff soon, I just need to think of what.
Edit: Mmmkay. I added an Items page. Right now, I have the Ruby and Sapphire Poké Balls listed there. I'll add more later, but I want to find something else I can add. Something interesting. As much as I would love to have an informational site, I want to have fun and creative stuff here, too, and I should probably come up with something soon.
Another Edit: I temporarily took down the Pokédex. I'm switching it all to the same format, and I'm moving the images to ImageShack. Also, I'm planning a fake Pokémon page. Right now, I'm going crazy with more eon evolutions, and evolutions for those evolutions. And then I'll probably make another, similar chain of Pokémon, probably based on a dog or something.

It's quite ironic, because I was going to upload some sprites I found on my computer from a long time ago. Figures. When I finally decide to add something that's worth it, I can't. So I'm going to find a free image hosting thing. Or something. And as of now, I'll try to find something to add to the site.

OK, I'm sorry for the lack of updates. And apologizing is not going to cover it. So I am going to add some pages. Expect them very soon, probably even today. Probably even within the next ten minutes. I will. I promise.
Well, for what I have done at this exact moment, I moved the updates to a new page. Yeah. I know. *sarcastic* So much is going to change because of that move.
Edit: I made a page called "The Life of a Fan". Go check it out.
Another Edit: Now there is battle tips. Nothing super special, but they're interesting and will help in certain circumstances.

OK, well, I changed more of the Pokedex to the new setup, and pages on Beedrill and Kakuna are up, too. I have some ideas for the site that I will work on, too.

Yesh, well I've been trying to figure out meta tags. Which is why you see bananamuffincreamtoast at the top of this page. See, I figured that bananamuffincreamtoast is a very original word, so I used that as a test search. But it didn't work. I have to figure this out.
Anyway... I added tables to Ivysaur's page, now, too. I'll get the rest fixed soon, don't you worry.
Also, I'm going to make a style switcher. After I successfully accomplish that, I'm going to go crazy with different styles.

OK, I got rid of the rest of the little things at the bottom of the menu, but that's really all I had time for.
I'm sorry I haven't completed my plans that I had for this weekend, but this weekend is a three day weekend, so I hope to get some stuff up then. I apologize. Please don't throw wads of crumpled-up paper at me. (In the unlikely case that two certain people from school are reading this, that applies to you, too! You know who you are! XD)

Yah, so I finally saw the menu, and I saw a few mistakes I made, so I fixed that, but the second image (the one with the six icons) was on every page, so I have to go through and get rid of those, but I can't tonight because I have plans.

Gahhh!!! My computer won't let me view any Freewebs site! Including mine! I have no idea what the menu looks like; I have no idea if it worked like I wanted it to. And I tried on a second computer too, but it still won't let me view it!!! GRRR!!!

I went through the site and changed a few things so everything's layed out the same on every page. I also changed the menu a bit. There are pictures now instead of just words. Hope you like it!

More of the Pokedex 2-15-06
I'm sorry I haven't added anything big in a while. I just typed up the RSE and FRLG moves of Squirtle through Butterfree. It isn't a huge update, but at least all the pages in the Pokedex now have the same content.
There is a slight chance that there will be a snow storm tonight, meaning there could be a snow day tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
Anyway, these are my plans either for tomorrow or the weekend.
- Make a few changes to the layout
- Edit the page setup in the Pokedex, so it's easier to use
- Add Weedle through Pidgeot to the Pokedex
- Add something to the pathetically short AAP page
And as a side note, the site now has more than 200 front page hits. Yay!!!

I decided I didn't like the counter I had, so I got another one. XD Problem solved! Also, I added the Fire Red Leaf Green sprites to the Pokedex. I'm in the process of adding more information, too.
