Site History
OK, I guess that this site's history does start much, much earlier than this site itself. Well, here we go...
Wow. OK, where to start? Well, I suppose that I should start with my inspiration. I had visited many, many Pokémon sites, many of them those Geocities sites with all the fake "Poké God" codes. Then, I found a site that changed my whole view of the Pokémon internet... The Cave of Dragonflies. This was so long ago, it wasn't even called that. Anyway, I was a regular visitor to that site ever since. Eventually, I decided, "Hey, I want to make a site!"
XDDD Well. I had NO idea how to make a webpage. So guess what I did? I drew pages on Paint and in notebooks. I designed layouts and such, planning what I would have on my site. I do remember thinking that you had to draw pages on Paint and then upload them to the internet. ^_^ I would like to thank Butterfree for correcting that mistake of mine, and telling me that websites were written with a code called HTML. That's when it all began...
So I went on Google and began to search for HTML guides. I found one that I liked, but it turned out that it was more for people who already knew some HTML. But anyway, on to the site itself.
OK, anyone who knows me knows I'm VERY indecisive. I had maybe a gazillion different name ideas for my site, and lots of different layouts. So once I had a handle on HTML, I began to make pages in Notepad and save them in My Documents.
The very first one was called Furret's Burrow. I had started designing this site in Paint, with a purple background and a blue table. Unfortunately, I have only memories of this, as the files were lost. This was the first site that I started to code in HTML, but I never finished.
My next site was called The Valley of Shining Dew. I quite liked this one, and I had many pages for it. I loved this site a lot, and I later re-did it with a new layout. The first one had
To be finished later
