Okay, so on this page will be all the info for the world of Ryet and the people that live there.
Just so you know, each of the Council members has their own country they are in charge of keeping up and updating.
Nuri belongs to Charms,
Razi belongs to Phantom, and
Tarmon belongs to Foxxness
Okay, the general plot is thus:
Three separate and very different nations inhabit the same world, called Ryet. There is Nuri, a hyper-advanced nation of humans. Tarmon, a nation of gods and polytheistic humans similar to the romans. And then Razi, a collaboration of the Fae, paranormal creatures, and rogue humans that don't seem to fit in the other two.
Nuri and Tarmon have been at 'war' for years. Razi has stood back and watched.
However, new technologies in Nuri spring up and the greedy leaders of that nation, the Riten Leaders, declare absolute war on the other two. Tarmon jumps to the challenge, and Razi is unwillingly pulled in as well in order to protect its land.
Meanwhile, strange ripples in the fabric of space-time are having a dramatic effect on the planes of existence. Dimensions merge, mesh, are created and destroyed. And in this chaos new beings arrive in Ryet, from worlds that are new and strange... and sometimes extremely dangerous. Humans from the world known as Earth find themselves sucked into a new planet of war and magic. Dimensions that are meant to act as a prison are ripped open and their inhabitants are unleashed on the world... wreaking further havoc and fear.
*NOTE: “Faerie” refers to anything not human.
Razi:
A nation of independent faerie groups.
This nation consists of bands of semi-independent tribes and two major cities. These groups are mainly aquatic and aerial along with some strays. These peoples focus their ways of life in mysteries. Shrouded in myths and study, ancient forms of power manipulations and magics are strong, but technology and superstition are accepted. There is not much interest in it, however. With so much independence, it is a dangerous nation for outsiders. This nation has no other reason to be in the war other than it wants to keep its freedom and independence. It has a smaller population than the other two nations. They make up for lack of numbers in a sleek fighting style and powerful attacks. This nation is also known for skilled guerilla warfare. City specializes in elite fighters and the use of power manipulation and magics. There are few very strong beings, but its biggest weakness is its lack of numbers. It can manage to fend off one nation or the other, but has the fear of both nations banding together or just attacking at the same time.
Nuri:
A super-technological nation of humans.
The 2nd nation is fast growing and highly stylized. There are large cities of humans that have built themselves from the bottom up on solely their technology and creations, literally. Cities have become huge nexuses of populations, creating new buildings on top of old ones until they reached the sky, meaning the higher up, the more money. Buried under 'layers' are the ghettos and slums where crime runs wild and underground cults spring up. The higher technology men as well as some of the cults have tapped into a cyber dimension. They hate magic or any creatures besides humans. The war is an elimination factor for them. They can’t do magic, so they don’t understand it and fear it, which breeds hatred of magic. Faeries can get in the sub cultures in the lower city sections, as there are levels. The nation is basically all industrial and mecha, with cyber influences and strong with technology. They have become extremely advanced in a short period of time. Their biggest weakness is that they have no strong support system (and are arrogant idiots... >.>).
Heres the basic setup of a city of Nuri:
Each city is a world in itself, housing millions of people within its walls. When they could no longer build out, they began to build up, stacking layer upon layer of architecture upon itself. The higher you go, the more expensive it becomes to live there, so social classes are determined by large sections in the levels.
At the top the high society people are constantly upgrading their houses and belongings, as more breakthroughs in technology happen everyday. They sit on their porches, drinking and talking as they look over the city sky line. Being so high up, they never have to see or care about those suffering below.
At the bottom, it is a completely different world. Little light is left filtering through all the levels, so the ghetto of the 'underworld' is constantly ablaze with neon lights and activity of devious nature. Here you find your black markets, your criminals, and your homeless and starving poor, struggling just to survive. Down here you find your madmen and your anarchists, and it is here that the rebellions boil from the hatred of the lower levels' inhabitants.
Hope that helps a bit to explain Nuri.. There is also middleclass of course, but I'm sure you can figure out for yourself what they are like.
Tarmon:
A religious, polytheistic nation composed of a capital and various sects.
This nation is highly religious. They're convinced gods walk among them, which freaks out others. Celebrations in the city are usually dedicated to a god. However, their belief in religion doesn't detach them from the world. While not incredibly innovative, they have a strong economy and pick up technology from other nations. They also get immigrants who like the rigid system and such; they are a combination of technology and magic. They're actually very easy-going nation, as long as you don't insult their gods. They basically get the other nation’s leftovers. They have a way of combining existing technologies with abilities/magic, so that's how their economy is good. They get the leftovers, recycle them, and sell them back, but keep the best for themselves because they’re greedy. They believe Razi is full of undeleveloped savages, and Nuri is a doomed wasteland. There’s no resentment of the other nations because they believe that their god is going to overturn the land and they'll be on top later. They believe that they will win the war. They are hypocritical pacifists, against killing unless their god(s) approve it. They also believe their rulers are gods on Earth. The religious nation has a widespread fighting style, because they have a bit of everything. They can attack with various things and defend against almost anything. They lack the strategic skills to make use of their strengths. They are usually involved in small skirmishes and fights, and rarely gain any ground. Like their population, they have the largest army, but various kinds of weapons, ranging from elite technological weapons to simple, primitive weapons. The soldiers are primarily untrained, but have great loyalty. Their leader is TOMI, a young man thrust into power, to his suprise and greater grief. Much of the time he is not even there, instead traveling in hopes of meeting his death, and avoiding the responsibility of leadership.
