Shadowbar Shepherds

We are a small boarding/training kennel set in the picturesque Porcupine Hills area of Southern Alberta. It is the home of Darryl and Judi Snowdon.  Established in 1981, here at Shadowbar we have quietly been training and exhibiting quality German Shepherd Dogs

The dogs at Shadowbar are proof that the German Shepherd is a versatile breed. We have High in Trial Winners and Best In Show Winners, and the only German Shepherd to earn a Draft Dog Excellent Title in Canada.Conformation, Obedience, Tracking, Herding, Agility, Carting, Scenthurdle Racing and Herding; we've done it all! .  At Shadowbar  dogs are given the opportunity to try many different activities and to excel at the ones that interest them the most.
