1.] All member must be loyal to spx. if you belong to another guild that represents the same games as spx, you must make spx your priority.

2.] All members must start as Recruits, and will be required to prove their maturity, and worth to spx, before being promoted to Full Member.

3.] All members MUST Either register with our forums, or be an in game member in one of the games we play.

4.] All positions, except for Shadow Council, will be held for 6 month terms. Positions may be held indefinitely, as long as the position holder continues to be voted into the position.

5.] Every member of SPX is required to fill out the guild application, unless they are only an in game member.

6.] Anyone in spx has the right to file a complaint against ANYONE, even council members, directly to a member of council. WITHOUT any repercussions, and WITHOUT their name being revealed, except when necessary.

7.] Members will regard each other with dignity and respect, regardless of SEX, AGE, NATIONALITY, or RELIGION.

8.] All spx members must be 16 years of age or older.

----------------------Laws regarding removal from SPX.----------------------

R-1.] For any non council member / executive, full member and above, to be kicked out of SPX, the following must take place. (Except where stated differently in this writ.)
A) the person will be given a written warning, detailing to them what they have done wrong, and that this is their first warning.
B) the person will be given a verbal warning from a council member, followed by another written warning, again telling them what they did wrong, and that this is their second and final warning.
C) the person will have a vote to be removed posted in the council board. IF the vote is yes they will be kicked out of spx, with a letter explaining why. If the vote is no, another verbal warning will be given.
If the person continues to be a problem, C will be repeated until the person has been removed from the SPX.

R-2.] For a member of council to be removed from the SPX, the following must be done.
A) The person must be given a PM warning from the rest of the council.
B) The person must be given verbal warning from the council, in a council meeting.
C) A vote to kick them out of council, will be held in the council chambers. If that vote is won, and is for a full kick, that person will be removed from spx. If the vote was for demotion, that person will be demoted to a full member.

Clause #1 -- Any recruit, may be kicked out of spx, following a guild vote, initiated by the shadow council, at any time before becoming a Full member. The vote must win by 70% or more, in favor of removing the person.

C-1.] Before any actions may be taken on a council vote, ALL members of council must vote.

Clause a ] If the person has not been to the forums for a while, and no members of council are able to contact that person, then laws can be passed without that persons consent.

------------------------------Laws regarding this WRIT.----------------------

W-1.] Any changes or amendments to this writ, must be voted for in the council, and posted to the public before taking effect. The changes must have been publicly posted for a minimum of 3 days to be counted as active.

W-2.] Any of our members (full member and above) have the right to start a vote petitioning change to any law or lack thereof, in our WRIT. They may make this petition ONLY after suggesting it to the council and being turned down. They may then start the petition vote, in a very polite, and mannerly way. Any angry or flaming petitions may be deleted by the council without any notice.

W-3.] Council has the right to declare a state of emergency at any time, it is deemed prudent. During this time Council may override this writ.

------------------------Laws regarding petitions --------------------------

P-1. No flaming or negative posts will be permitted. (council may edit posts to remove offensive content.)

P-2. Only Full members and above may start a petition. Council members may NOT start one.

E. Each law may only be petitioned once every 6 months.

P-3. All votes are final, and will be logged by council. You may not change or take back a vote. Council may use their discretion to determine if a vote was errant or not. But you must inform council immediately after making the errant vote.

P-4. Only Full members and above may participate in petition votes.

--------------------------Laws regarding our affiliates.--------------------------

A-1.] All SPX members will be expected to respect all members of our affiliated guilds, or communities.

A-2.] Affiliations can only be forged by the Executives and above. However others can suggest an alliance to them.

------------------------Shadow Phoenix beliefs----------------------------------

We in the Shadow Phoenix, believe in being friendly and laid back, yet structured, and disciplined as well. We do not wish to be represented by negative, and whining people. We seek out members who will be helpful and generous to other members, and who will obey the rules. But most of all, we believe in having fun!

What we are looking for in potential spx members.

A) A willingness to help other members.

B) The ability to follow our rules.

C) People who are laid back, and not always wanting to GO GO GO!! We need patient people.

D) Friendliness. We need friendly people who wont complain all day,

E) Maturity. We need members who will not whine about every little thing. And members who will show tolerance and understanding toward other members.
