MORNING MIST

The painting is approximately 10 X 8 inches, it is an acrylic painting on canvas. I thought that the predominant cold colours gave an impression of early morning mist. It was actually an example for a class on aerial perspective.
These are three examples of ACEO paintings which I have sold on eBay
Aberporth-across the sands
from a holiday sketch
Portmeirion - Doorway to number 6
Portmeirion - the rear of number 6
from another holiday in North Wales when my boys were young
SAREHOLE MILL - from across the mill pond

An ACEO miniature painting of the famous watermill which reputedly gave Tolkien inspiration for settings in his novels. A favourite spot with local kids because of the large park area surrounding it
Farm Buildings near ferreries, Menorca

Arriving at a local cheese farm (St Patrici) during the siesta my wife and I had some time to kill and I spent it sketching this farm building. At home I later painted this in different ways experimenting with the colours to try and get the very hot mid-afternoon feeling of the scene. this was the one I felt had the right feeling.
Brockhampton, near Bromyard in Worcester

A sketch of the National trust property at Lower Brockhampton. At the time we were there the bush at the left was a definite green colour but the brochure showed it as red. I liked this better and so incorporated it into my painting.
Farmhouse at Dawlish warren

Another sketch of a National Trust Property ( we are members and could recommend it to anybody).
