MAILING ROCKS BACK HOME
USPS FLAT RATE BOXES.
Here is some information on mailing packages back home of your finds without carrying them all over the country.
Get the boxes from your Post Office and take with you.
Fill and take to local Post Office to have them mail back to you or a friend.
This for U.S. only. Size of box is about 8 x 8 1/2" x 6" high. Cost is somewhere between 8 and 9 dollars.
How much weight you can put in a box? I was told as much as it will hold.
You will have to check on any special way to pack.
If you want to send goodies to our troops anywhere in the world?
They can also be sent throu APO or FPO for the same price.
NOTE: Until after May 14, 2007 you can not get boxes as they are redoing them and mail is going up.
Looks like it is 8.95 or $9.15 is the new cost now. Flyer says $9.15 and my Postoffice says $8.95.
