BORAL AGGREGATES TRIP

Hey! where are all the rocks?                                                                               Looks like some kinda "event", who's vehicle has an arm on it for digging?

There are some people in this photo, somewhere                                              Donnie was doing the honors, cooking all day. BIG THANKS DONNIE!

We had quite a turn-out                                                                                      Taking a break, hiding from Bill.

Bill Lyons is from the Ada Club

The Tulsa Club wasn't shy about digging right in                       We even had a rockhound

Bill Lyons is giving the OU students a geology BSing...I mean lesson                                      Just one of our rockhounding tools the quarry volunteered

John Worden was there, there was plenty rock to go around.                                         Tulsa Club getting their fair share

This is the "KIND" stuff. Big huge Rhombehedral Crystals. Of course a picture is all you take home.Next year we'll bring TNT!

Llewellen presenting Tom Turnipseed with a rose rock wire-wrap on behalf of the club. Tom drove down from OKC to attend our field trip. We can't thank Tom enough, without him there would be NO field trip. He is also helping Klaus get another site going in Idabell. I think he's a rockhound, I really do..
