We would like to thank everyone that has contributed to writing letters this semester collected over 300 letters. The goal is to get a 1,000 letters by the end of this half semester.
The video was released 18 July, however - YouTube has an issue with the original soundtrack. Therefore a generic soundtrack is inplace so you have something to listen to.

You will just have to wait for school to kick in to see the real deal.
WAIT... OUT.
Be Safe, Have Fun and Get ready for a great school year. Do you have anything better to do?
This coming school year belongs to you.
If you are going to be a Senior this year - This is all you get! Then all it will be is memorys. If you are a Junior - Get ready, It will be over before you know it. Set yourself up for success. If you are a Sophmore - Pay attention, use what you have learned and set some serious goals for the rest of your high school career as a cadet. And if you are a Freshman reading this then you are way ahead of the game! You care and will probably do great things you never thought you would do.
We will make a difference.

Mr. Jarboe and 3 National Guard recruiters spent over 3 hours looking at EVERYTHING. Inranks Inspection; Drill and Ceremony; The best Color Guard in the County; and curriculum knowledge. Also, our staff and all its jobs too!!! A total team effort got us there, and a total team effort will keep us there!!!
GREAT JOB GENERALS!!!!

GOOD JOB TEAM!
BIG CAMP NEWS!
We had 18 cadets total at the Fall Raiders Camp.... Compass/obstacle course, The Tower, Sergeant Dorsey's 2 foot long trout (Serious!)....
And then there were 5 beat up cadets on the field...
....in sudden death overtime....
.....with out an ounce of energy to spare - they executed an over-the-head, 15 yard drive with all ten athletes falling over the goal line for the winning score!
The Chuck Cup is back!
It was a tremendous sight with ALL cadets from ALL schools giving everything they had and leaving it on the field. Congratulations to you all.
Video to follow.....
OH..... less than 3 weeks until the Formal Inspection. Have you studied your Guide today?
OPERATION GRATITUDE UPDATE!
The Montcalm Community pulled together with representatives from the Elementary Schools, Families.... Friends.... and other classes and we consolidated and sent a total of 582 Thank You Letters, handmade Christmas cards and 'refrigerator art' to be sent to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines inside Operation Gratitude care packages later this month.
But it gets better....
Carolyn Blashek, the Founder and CEO of Operation Gratitude was on the Classroom Speaker Phone personally thanking each of the four Companies throughout the day for their hard work they put into their personal 'Letters To Heroes' letter writing campaigns.
AND there's MORE!
Sergeant Dorsey didn't know.... NOBODY knew the news Carolyn had for us..... The Montcalm community has contributed more letters, thank you cards and refrigerator art for the Operation Gratitude Care Package drives (twice a year since 2002) .....
THAN ANY OTHER COMMUNITY IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES!
Congratulations Montcalm and the Mighty Generals Battalion!
END OF FIRST GRADING PERIOD!
Unbelievable! We are 1/4 of the way there!
What did you do?
Guess what?
There's a strong probability that if you did a lot the FIRST GP.... you will do the same NEXT GP.
Guess what else?
The same goes for inactivity.
Don't miss out.
There is too much more to do and you have to think about the Second Semester also.
Sets your sights high.....

GET BUSY!
To Be a Great Leader
You First Have to Be a Great Follower
That's the 'phrase of the week'.
Why should you care?
Maybe you don't want to be a great leader!
But I bet you want to be great at SOMETHING in your life.
JROTC is the place to learn the keys to get you there.
Make a decision.
