It's random, baby.

A Step Back

With all the trouble with the McSparran server at us at the moment of writing I decided I should try to get these pages copied over. Well, I forgot, that Freewebs doesn't support PHP nor MySQL. Sooo, all the bugs and things that seem out of shape are caused by exactly those problems. Well, I guess it's really a step back. Things seem to be starting to look up though, so check the forum for more info.

The Future of Severance

It's been two weeks now since last update, which wasn't much of a update in itself. So now I hope to be able to redeem myself in this update, although it's only a temporal effect. I keep this site on my own, but not without the ever lasting server support from my good friend Ark Night and Skul. They are to be commended in their effort and patience and trust they has in this site, and in Severance as a whole.

Yet I want to open the discussion about the future of Severance: What should we change? New leads, new name, different themes, anything. To put up this discussion I've started a thread on the forum where you can give your opinion. This thread will be available to everyone, including guests. Check it out now.

Christmas is coming

To celebrate one of the best times of the year, I've decided to adapt the CSS to give a little winter effect. A bunch of banners are added, mostly updated with the WinterBlue2 style to replace the green styled ones for a while. This 'skin' will remain until the end of Januari. Maybe a bit longer. =P.

New content!

Right now, I finished the review of the game Freelancer, and I've got one hell of a good dance/trance piece ready for you to download. Lots more is to follow!

When You Don't Pay The Rent...

Promised on Wednesday, arrives on Friday; As you can see, I had to make sure some of my castle renters would pay the rent. Among other things. =P.

Allright, so we're going to see what we can do for today. Not too big yet, I still got quite a lot to do in all sorts of places. But for this time, the review of Age of Empires II. Check it out.

A Catapult...

Oh, I'm such a stealer. This is so easy to place here, such a dumb move, such an old picture, so crazy, but so funny. =P

Ever since we've had the problem with the server fixed, I've been engulfed by the (almost usual now) flow of essays, homework, writeups, rewrites, retypes, and much more.

Oh, and visitors who know the game MapleStory know it already of course, due to the few peeks, screenshots and of course by knowing me in the game, but I also play a MMORPG, which is a 2D sidescroller MMORPG. I'm going to give it a shot in a review very soon. But check this sneakpeek:

This, to the left, is me, in this game. I'm currently a lvl 66 Fighter. Yep, now you know where most of my free time goes to. I'll tell you all about this game in a review, soon.

Talking about reviews and games, I've been buying (and whaddaya know, play) a lot of new games. I have bought Freelancer, a free-roaming online space game with a very powerful and cool singleplayer storyline, I have the Cossacks series, both 1 with all the expansions and 2, Napoleonic Wars, Beyond Good & Evil, which is a very nice adventure game and a lot more games. Most need to be finished yet though, but their reviews will be coming up soon among others.

But at this point I'm trapped in a combination of schoolwork and a big push towards the fabled lvl 70 in MapleStory, which I am totally forced towards to. =P. Call it crazy, and it is for outsiders, but once your in it, it's hard not to take serious sometimes. Ah, you've read my article on that and you still can, right here.

I expect a new update on... no idea actually, but I can only guess Wednesday. I know, all promises, but I will try my best.

I'll keep you updated,

Brought to you by "Mamma Mia!" Mario. Couldn't do it without him!

Update (Added on October 28): A quick note. I've updated half of the game reviews pages with the new layout, and there's a bunch of fixes and some small changes throughout the site. I will have a full update tomorrow telling you what's been done for this weekend.

- JC

The update for today, which involved mostly setting everything right before continueing with having all the other pages changed with the new .CSS file and tableset (as I call it for now). I had noticed a lot of missing links, bugs and the like. As a matter of fact, I can point out a few right now, but which don't really effect anything. Take the image placeholder at the top left, if your using IE you can see it (I told you to use Firefox! =P) which is probably going to become a random image rotator, if I find out how I can have two simultanious rotator scripts working, that is...(Which of course don't have to be hard at all).

Well, I've been able to create all the pages and gave them the correct link names that I gave before. Most notably are pages with actual content on them, like the Miscellanious page at Main, and the reordering of several articles to other pages.

I would say, browse around, get a feel for it, and if you've got some ideas, or suggestions how to improve the site, and/or the pages, The best place is here. It should be accessible for guests too, to post.

Tomorrow and Sunday will be days that I will begin with modifying the actual content; All the game reviews will be changed, as will the rest of the pages, and expect some new content to be among them.

I hope you like this update. I'll keep you updated.
