From here, you can go to profiles for each character, plot summaries, stuff about me, or just go straight to the fanfiction.

 

The fanfiction is divided into parts, which are further divided into chapters. Also, the fanfiction is ongoing and the site is sure to be changing frequently! Be sure to check back often(or join the mailing list)!

 

Each Page will have music that I think fits. If you don't like it, feel free to turn it off (click the pause button). On the pages for the fanfiction, I will have a full playlist consisting of not only the songs that I think are fit to describe it, but also songs that Mai sings throughout. It's kind of a way to give credit...get it? ^_^

 

READ THE FOLLOWING NOTES SO YOU DON'T GET CONFUSED! 

 

Notes on the fanfiction:

  1. Names are said as if you were in Japan when they're speaking Japanese in the fanfiction (most of the time! I will say if they're speaking English)! That means Family name first, then given name. eg- Instead of Mai Black, Black Mai
  2. I will try my best to not use random Japanese when they're speaking Japanese, just for consistency! I'll only use random Japanese when they're speaking English and actually say "Kawaii", "Aishiteru", etc. randomly.
  3. Mai is a singer, but this does not mean I'm a song writer....not by a long shot... the songs in here will mostly be English translations (because of point II) of existing songs! For example, in Chapter 1 of Duelist Kingdom, I use the translation of the song Mizerable by Gackt. I do not claim the rights to these lyrics!!!
  4. In addition, I do not claim the rights of the characters that don't belong to me. I recognize Kazuki Takahashi, Maki Murakami, and J.K. Rowling for their wonderful characters, that ARE copyrighted to them. Yu-Gi-Oh! © Kazuuki Takahashi, Gravitation © Maki Murakami, and Harry Potter © J.K. Rowling.
  5. I must say that I do proofread my stories, but eventually, an error may slip through. Tell me (comment on the story, stating where and what the error is) and I will fix it. However, do not say that I spelled "colour", "tonne", etc. wrong. This is the way the British and Australian people spell these things. Seeing as Mai is both, I found it appropriate.
  6. Also, I do not want people to flame me for the following reasons:
    • You don't like Mai because you're a Seto Kaiba fangirl. This is no reason to flame me or Mai. I take great pride in my character.
    • The fanfiction doesn't follow the storyline of each story EXACTLY, for example:
      •  I don't get the timing for Yu-Gi-Oh! correct. When I created Mai, it was before I knew that it all happens in one year. My story spreads the storyline of Yu-Gi-Oh! out into a couple of years.
      • I also made Mai BEFORE Harry Potter ended. This means that the story does not end in the same way as the actual book (eg. Remus survives (sorry for the spoiler if you haven't read the book), etc.)
    • You are immature. There IS a certain amount of violence, cursing, and sexual  content. If you don't like that, then why do you keep reading? If you see the words "He stripped off her shirt with ease..." or something, SKIP THAT PART! I will try to END chapters with those kind of scenes, so if you sense something is going to happen, skip down to the next part.
    • You don't use common sense. It goes along with the above reason, but I think it deserves its own bubble. Message: I HAVE A SHORT FUSE FOR IMMATURE IDIOTS WHO DON'T USE COMMON SENSE!
  7. If you want to know when the fanfiction is updated, join the Mailing List! I cannot stress this enough. It is a handy little feature. I do not feel like emailing everybody when I make an important update, and I'm sure I may gain fans that I do not know, and thus am unable to alert! Please, for your sake and mine, use this feature!
