Name: Sesshoumaru
Nicknames: Lord Sesshoumaru or Sesshoumaru-sama in Japanese. He is called this by Jaken and Rin because they both respect him. Fluffy is what his fans call him, as well as Fluffy-sama, but I call him Sesshoumaru. Youkai Prince, Demon Lord, Youkai of the West, Taiyoukai of the West, Western Land Lord and Ice lord as well are other nicknames what fans call him.
Name Meaning:
Destroyer of the circle of life.
The Killing Perfection
Voiced by:
Narita Ken(Japanese)
David Kaye(American)
Gender: Male of course. But, even if he were a female, I would still be a fan.
Age: 700 demon years; 19 human years. (This info is stated later in the manga.)
Birthplace: Western Lands.
Identity: Well, he's Inuyasha's older 'half' brother in the anime and manga. He's also a powerful youkai in the series as well and the Lord of the Western Lands. Also, as you can see on Inuyasha Shrines/Sites, they put Sesshoumaru in the 'bad' guy section because he and Inuyasha always fight when they see each other. I don't really see him as a villain though cause if he was, he would be in every other episode to try and kill his brother or something close. Makes you wonder...
Personality: At first glance to everyone he is a cold, calm, collected and arrogant youkai on the show, which is pretty fun to have if I may say so myself. He also cares about himself and only himself it seems as well and doesn't talk too much. If he does, than hes saying something arrogant to Inuyasha or to an enemy and its right at the point of what he is talking about. If you want to see what he says, go to Quote section of this site I have made.
Sesshoumaru also has a powerful aura which frightens other youkai and humans from him, which is good because he doesn't like to be annoyed very much. His respect goes to his father, who is deceased. He treats humans as 'dirt on his shoe', which by the way, he does wear. But somewhere along the episodes, he does care for one human and that is Rin a 6 or 7 year old human girl. I have a section on her as well but she is spoiler if you don't know about her already. And, a human boy has joined his party as well, Kohaku. He saved him from Byakuya. To have more depth with these two, please to go their pages that is to the navigation underneath Followers since it is a lot of events and...I don't want to type them out again.
Appearance: Okay, the one section of Sesshoumaru that everyone loves otherwise he wouldn't have his fans ^^ (Kidding XD). He looks human but he's not. Just like Inuyasha, he has silver white-ish-blueish hair but its knee length, and has gorgeous amber/honey/golden eyes. He has a navy crescent moon that points to the left and to the 'right' for us on his forehead. Has two crimson/magenta stripes on each of his cheeks and wrists and has red eye shadow above his eyes. He also have pointy, elfish ears and sharp, dead-like fingernails which are referred to 'claws' in fanfics and I call them that myself. His appears 'slim' and appears almost feminine looking as well, but he's obviously well toned/built underneath, which is shown on the episode called "Go Back to Your own time Kagome" when he takes of his top kimono a little bit and see his chest which will make any girl drool I bet (It made me but not hardcore).
He wears a fancy kimono as well and it's silk. As you see above this, he is wearing an almost completely white kimono with red hexagon shapes with white flowers in the center. He also has armor that covers up his mid section and has spikes that wraps around his left shoulder which keeps appearing when it is destroyed, so he must have a lot of those armors. Another thing that is in his appearance and that everyone wants to touch, is this fluffy white pelt. Some say it's his 'tail' or 'armpit air', but as you can see, it's neither of those. When he met Rin, the fluffy pelt was taken OFF of his right shoulder and layed on it, so it's not his tail. It's a youkino, which is fur for higher status people/demons. Rumiko said this in an interview, but, as others, and myself, we call the youkino a tail in our stories. Just to-oh I don't know-put more fun ;D
He can also transform into a giant white demon dog, which is his true form. His crescent moon is the same but the strips on his wrists are gone and the ones on his cheek connect around the mouth. His ears become floppy dog ears and his eyes are blood-shot red.

Poison Claws: Unlike Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru has more uses for his claws and this is poisonous gas that is really strong and it WILL melt anything or in his path. This is the 2nd technique we see him use but he has many 'ways' of using it as well. One, he would go really fast to the target and slash them with the poison. Two, he can grab hold of the target and melt their arm which makes a fizzle noise. Three, the last one, he can even spray his poisonous gas, which he did to Kagome in their Father's tomb and melted the bones behind her and the Tetsusaiga's 'thrown' in a puddle of goo. The name of this attack is Dokkasou which translates to Toxic Flower Claw.

Whip of Light: Also known as Poison Whip, this whip that can paralyze people or poison them a little bit. This is the first technique that Sesshoumaru shows us when he destroyed those pack of wolves. One of the ways he uses it is by putting his pointer and middle finger up while the others are down (looks like a peace sign XD) and begins spinning in place switching feet while the whip goes around him in a circle. When a creature will try to touch him, it will be spilt apart and blood will be everywhere. The other way, is to fling it around, like he does to Inuyasha, before of course, concentrating where to fling it at Inuyasha. Although, this whip is not in the manga.

Mokomoko: It looks like a tail but it's not. If it was, he can NOT take it off, which he does when he meets Rin. Anyways, he used this to wrap it around Inuyasha and then let it unwind and it made Inuyasha fly to the ground. Some people thinks this is hair from his armpit and I doubt that and some say it's a boa and he's a cross dresser. It's none of those. The fur can also extend to great lengths as seen when Sesshoumaru used it knock Tessaiga out of InuYasha's hands. RUmiko has revealed that this is also part of Sesshoumaru's body. His parents have two while he only has one.

Demon Speed: As you can see, Sesshoumaru is faster in demon speed since he is a full pledged demon. This makes his form a white blur to the human eye, as well as any other eye out there. This is good to dodge from an attack or charge at demons to do the Toxic Flower Claw attack.
Flight:Y es. He can fly. As long as you believe. Whenever he uses his flight powers for an exended period of time, the leg bottoms of his hakama extend to semi-transparent flowing masses, similar to how one would picture the wind driven cloak of a ghost. However, this does not happen when he chooses to fly upon his dust cloud or ride Ah-Un (who can fly with it's blue flames from their ankles).
Immunity: Sesshoumaru is immune to diseases, poison, gases as well as holy power. One of the many reasons why he was able to enter Mount Hakurei, despite its purification barrier and-being the most powerful barrier in the entire series as it reached and extended throughout the surrounding area of the entire mountain. Although, he was weakened to the degree to not preform Tokijin's signature (as well as his) Kenatsu attack with his battles against Kajotsu and Suikotsu. Another way to see it is when Kagome shot one of her purification arrows at him in Episode 19 and he caught it without getting a scar on either of his fingers when most demons would've been purified. Trying to asorb him won't work either which was tried, and failed, by Naraku. Most of this happens because Sesshoumaru's aura emanates around his body, due to his deomonic purity. Although, the only powers that he isn't immune is to the ones like the Kaze no Kizu which is translated to Wind Scar in English.

Cloud: A red or clear cloud that gathers around his feet to help him transport one place to another.

Orb: A red or clear cloud that gathers around his feet to help him transport one place to another.
Here you will read more information about Sesshoumaru's father, mother, step mother and his half brother.

Name: Inu-no-Taisho (It's not his real name, just, what I call him, since they don't give him a name in the anime or the movie. Although, some people say that Touga might be his name.)
Nicknames: Old man, which is what Inuyasha calls him and Sesshoumaru, of course, calls him Father. InuTaisho, Inu-no-Taisho, Touga and Inu-papa are others are well by fans. Sire is what Izayoi calls him for respect.
Name Meanings:
Inu-no-Taisho: Leader of the dogs
Touga: Fighting fang

Gender: Male
Age: Unknown.
Birthplace: Western Lands
Identity: The former Western Lord and the father of Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha.
Personality: Calm, nice and maybe some humor. I guess, since he fell in love with a human, he became nicer than before.
Appearance: Yes, I have seen him and know what he looks like. He has silver longer hair than his sons, which is in a long ponytail. He has one magenta stripe on each cheek and golden amber eyes, but he has no moon on his forehead. He has armor as well but it looks heavier than Sesshoumaru's. His goes on both of his shoulders that look like armadillo's back with spikes only on the top. In the center, where InuTaisho's heart is, is a red stretched diamond jewel and his sash is red with lightblue lines going first and then more red and then the pattern stops with lightblue at the bottom.

Name: Unknown.
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Birthplace: Unkown
Identity: Mother of Sesshoumaru.
Personality: Well, it seems in the manga that she is cold and uncaring-even to her own son. She thought Sesshoumaru was going to eat Kohaku and Rin.
Appearance: Her hair looks white oo; so, yeah, let's go for that until it's in the anime xD Ahem.....she has the crescent moon on her forehead like Sesshoumaru's and has her own piece of fur-so, that must state she is royalty-well, she is. On her cheeks are swirly that are dainty-wow-haven't said that-typed that in a long time. In her true form though, she is slimmer, has longer ears and dainty as well.
Important Information: It hasn't been stated but, the relationship between her and Inu no Taisho fell apart or ended because of Inuyasha's mother, Izayoi (erm...duh? xD). She holds the Meidou-seki that was given to her by Inu no Taisho who told her to use it when Sesshoumaru came to see her. Sesshoumaru does and she tells him that he will face great danger but must not feel fear or sadness. Because of her personality, she doesn't appear very worried either and didn't even tell
her son that if he goes into the Meidou, he can never return to the living. This is another one of Inu no Taisho's test for his son. Fun, fun. Oh yes.....she also seems to know about Tenseiga....mmm....ohhh Rumiko? Where are thou?

Race:Dog/Human or hanyou(half-breed)
Gender:Male
Age:200, looks 17
Birthplace:Western Lands
Identity: He is Sesshoumaru's little half-brother and is the 2nd son of InuTaisho. He has his own forest as well.
Personality:Rude, blunt and mean sometimes. He has a foul mouth but later in the series he is getting nicer to his group and Kagome.
Appearance: Silver, back length hair, golden eyes, a red haori that is made of a rat skin and has silver cat-like ears. He also has a subdue rosary around his neck, which he gets on the second episode and when Kagome says the word 'sit', he plunges to the ground face first, which is very amusing and this gets fanfics majorly. Some of them will over do it and make it very bad.

Tenseiga:
This sword translates to Heavenly Life Fang and was given to him by his father. Like its name, it can revive 100 lives in one swing, for someone who has the heart to truly cherish others. This sword is the brother to the Tetsusaiga and is the Yang (light) and the Tetsusaiga is the Ying (dark). Sesshoumaru doesn't understand why his father gave this sword to him instead of the Tetsusaiga. But this sword did do something right that was right. One, it saved Sesshoumaru from dieing and heal Goshinki's head so Kaijinbou could make a sword out of its teeth which broke the Tetsusaiga. On a side note, Tenseiga unleashes divine energy to the enemies of the user since it is the Sword of Heaven, as opposite to the the inner energy of demons (yoki) that is unleased by Sesshomaru or the holy power of people like Miroku and Kagome. In chapter 470, it has been said by Sesshoumaru's mother that a person (demon or human alike) cannot be revived by this word more than once (Jaken has been revived twice by the sword...silly Rumiko xP). He realises this when Rin, already dead (explanation why here), is not responding to Tenseiga and vice versa. But, at the end of chapter 471, Sesshoumaru's mother revives Rin using the Meidou-stone after leaving the Land of the dead (Heh, sounds like hell to me). After Rin is alive once again, she asks Jaken if Sesshoumaru is pleased Rin is alive again. He replies that Sesshoumaru is indeed pleased that Rin is alive. It's attacks are...
Meido Zangetsuha Ha
- After it is reforged by Totosai (who is prompted by Tenseiga since it felt feelings of fury and sadness in Sesshoumaru's heart for Kagura. Also, it was forged because, as a cast off of Tetsusaiga, it had the Meidou attack, and it needed to be reforged to have access to the attack.) On Sesshoumaru's first try using this attack, it surprised Totosai that Sesshoumaru sucessfully preformed it. Sesshoumaru will slash at the enemy, which will create a black crescent shaped-gap in the world of the living that will send the cut enemy directly to hell. In the beginning, it will take shape of a crescent, resembling a crescent moon. Totosai claims that when Sesshoumaru goes through enough training, he will be able to make the gap into a complete circle that resembles a full moon. Although, Sesshoumaru appears to start mastering the technique by enlarging the crescent shape before moving to the full circle shape. Sesshoumaru can also do this attack from a distance and finally masters it it in chapter 470 when he purified many dead bodies. Also, Tenseiga needs to be close to Tetsusaiga to launch a "full moon" Meidou Zangetsuha, otherwise, it's just a crescent moon, but, hey, who cares? A moon is a moon XD (Some of this info is credited to my friend Roadkill.)Bakusaiga:
A sword that was already made, and there, when he got his left arm back while fighting one of Naraku's offspring, Magatsuhi. Reason why it appeared when his arm was regenerated is unknown. Since he has this sword, Tessaiga is no longer his desire to get from his half brother, InuYasha. Totousai says that it also means that Sesshoumaru has finally surpassed his father, which is what he wanted in the beginning, and stands as his own daiyokai (there's a line above that o). To see this sword, go here for now. It's attacks are...
Continuing to destroy the flesh of anything it cuts and sealing abilities like regeneration which could make Naraku suffer if he were to absorb the cut that this sword makes.

Tokijin (Toukijin in Japanese) [Broken. Replaced by Bakusaiga]:
This sword translates to Fighting Fierce God and Kaijinbou forged it for Sesshoumaru but when it was done, Kaijinbou was taken over by Toukijin's powerful evil aura that was lusting for the blood of Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru overpowered Toukijin's evil aura, which surprised Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Totousai. This sword is now the opponent of Tetsusaiga but it's in the Second Season of Inuyasha though. When it is broken by while battling Moryomaru, the broken pieces are abandoned since Sesshoumaru has no more interest in this sword and now has Meido Zangetsuha to cover it.It's attacks are...Kenatsu (Sword Pressure) - This is the first attack we see when Sesshoumaru uses it against Inuyasha. They are yellow-needle like attacks that go really fast to the enemy. Of course, every sword has a beginning stage. When Sesshoumaru fully mastered the sword, it now releases a blue wave of energy that completely disintegrates the enemy. The strength of this attack however depends on how it is unleashed by Sesshoumaru. Reguarly, it shoots beams of blue light but when Sesshoumaru utilizes its full potential, it comes out in a form of parallel blue trails of energy that is similiar to how Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu is released. In Sesshoumaru's first battle with Moryomaru, it is stated that this ability is not just based off of Toukijin's base power, it is mixed with Sesshoumaru's yoki (inner power of a demon).
Soryuha (Dragon Strike) - This appears in the third Inuyasha movie, as well as the fourth. But, it appears differently as well. It's the same level of Tetsusaiga's attack, Bakuryuha, so, it's very powerful. When it's released in the third movie, blue lightning stabs at the earth and carries their destructive force to the enemy. In the fourth movie, it takes form of a dragon right before destorying the enemy (woo, talk about living up to it's name XD). This attack is very unique to the other attacks by the Kaze no Kizu, Kongoshoa (Moryomaru's attack), and Meido Zangetsuha, it can be used being on both Toukijin and Tenseiga (too lazy to add it up there xD). Another sweet fact-as well as unique-is that Sesshoumaru doesn't always have to swing the sword, he can just hold it horizonatally and command it by saying, "Soryuha (Dragon Strike," outloud, like he does in the third movie. Although, Toukijin being "only an oni's fang," this attack cannot be used repeatedly.

Tetsusaiga (Tessaiga in Japanese):
This sword translates to Iron Pulverizing Fang or Iron Cleaving Fang. This sword is for Inuyasha, but for some reason, Inuyasha couldn't pull out Tetsusaiga out of its 'lair' but somehow Kagome could, which shocked Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Jaken! Sesshoumaru wants this sword badly but whoever has feelings or has a need to protect a human, they can use it, which is not him. This sword can KILL 100 demons in one swing. But, if humans were so worthless, would THESE two swords be made? Why did their father make them then? Just for trophies? No, it was for the protection of Izayoi, Inuyasha's mother, because she couldn't protect herself and it was InuTaisho's feelings that made these two swords. So, humans are not that bad are they? I guess Sesshoumaru is wrong, for once in his life and doesn't realize it. Sesshoumaru has no more interest to have this sword since he now has Tenseiga, which is more powerful since it can send enemies to hell, and his brand new sword Bakusaiga."What a bother."
"You should be thankful to the girl."
"Heh, ridiculous."
"Heh, you lack what it takes."
"Why protect them? Why miss them? Why love them?"
"All that for a memory and a dead mortal girl? If I'd have known that's what it would have taken for you to fight, I would have killed her sooner."
"Do you think with your dirty blood, that you are my equal?"
"Where did you get those bruises?"
"Who are you, and how did you draw the sword?"
"Now, was that aimed at me?"
"Die!"
"Hmm? A human, how interesting..."
"You are truly stupid aren't you? You know you could just run away...for you, the image wouldn't be disgraceful, after all, your living soul itself is already the pinnacle of disgrace."
"Hm.....Inuyasha, your patience with this creature is astonishing to me. You protect her, indulge her...even seem to love her."
"You....bastard."
"Do you really hate her that much? That girl, named Kagome?"
"Do what you want, but Inuyasha's life will end by my hand."
"You don't have to tell me. It's not like I care......just curious."
"Why are you smiling like that?"
"Tenseiga...you've compelled me to save a human life today."
"I don't believe you have met my poison claws."
"InuYasha, half breed though you are, the blood of a demon still runs through you. Be proud of that. Don't except human aid even in death."
"The Fang. It is the Fang, I seek here. Once I possess it, I shall transform myself into a far greater power. Heh, yet why must I explain? My power is, what it is. I shall not always be limited, thus. Can it be that I am afraid? Or is it merely that I know not my own limits? Perhaps.....I presume..."
"The fang, it is the Fang, I Seek here."
Sesshomaru: "Little brothers are such pests."
Inu Yasha: "I'm not that easy to kill!"
Sesshomaru: "Yes, until you come leaping out."
Inu Yasha: "You're running away!"
Sesshomaru: "Yes, from sheer boredom!"
Sesshomaru: "Ahhh, so the sword is too heavy for you?"
Inuyasha: "It's a lot heavier you stupid jackass!"
Sesshomaru: Hm....the sword is to heavy for you... How about out without it?!

Name: Jaken
Nicknames: Jaken-sama or Lord Jaken is what Rin calls him.
Name Meaning:
Wicked Perspective
Voiced by:
Don Brown(English)
Yuh-ichi Nagashima(Japanese)
Race: Toad/Crocodile Youkai
Gender: Male (we think)
Age: Unknown.
Birthplace: Unknown.
Identity: Well, he's Inuyasha's older 'half' brother's retainer/servant in the anime and manga. He also watches Rin all the time as well, but as you can see, he's not a very good 'babysitter'.
Personality: He's the grumby, scared of Sesshoumaru and stupid youkai on the show, but that makes it more fun, especially when Kagome whacked him with the Staff of the Skulls and said, "You mean green little toad!"
Appearance: He a green colored toad, with big yellow eyes that have small pupils in the middle. He wears a brown kimono/robe and has a small, kind of pointy, black hat. He also carries the Staff of Two Skulls, which is pretty cool I must say, but that's his only protection he has in the show/manga.
Relation with Sesshoumaru: On 134th episode I think, it shows when Jaken met Sesshoumaru and he says, "So beautiful!" Jaken looks up to Sesshoumaru a lot and is refered to his retainer and servant-which may be the same. It seems like he won't even betray Sesshoumaru, not matter what Sesshoumaru does to him.

Name: Rin
Nicknames: Stupid girl and brat is what Jakan calls her sometimes.
Name Meaning:
Bringer of Light
Voice:
Noto Mamiko (Japanese)
Brenna O'Brien (English)
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 7-8 years old.
Birthplace: Village.
Identity: A young human girl who's family was killed by bandits in front of her very eyes. I think she's in the 'good' or 'bad' character section. But to me, she is a good character and so is Sesshoumaru.
Personality: Caring, playful, and kind-hearted. Those three words practically describe it x3
Appearance: Has ebony hair, brown eyes, small ponytail to the side, a orange and white checkered kimono and a green sash/tie/bow is around her waist, which Sesshoumaru bought for her instead of the shabby red kimono. At first, Rin was mute because she saw her family be killed in her very eyes by the wolves. We learn this information from the villagers and when Sesshoumaru was transported by Tenseiga, Rin goes to him and gives him water and food. He says "Go away" and "I don't eat human food" to her. Does this STOP Rin? Nope. She goes and steals some fish from some fishermen but gets beaten up by them in result. When she put them by Sesshoumaru, he said "Where did you get those bruises?" Then there is a pause and he says, "I don't care, just curious." Uhh huh, riiiiggghht. This cause Rin to smile a toothy smile and its very touching.
Relation with Sesshoumaru: Rin brings out Sesshoumaru's 'protective' side, in which is really good. He has better attacks and very powerful and always has Jaken beside her. When she is waiting for him to return to her for 3 or 4 minutes, she misses him already and can't wait for him to come and get her. To go further in depth, I will list out the big major events how these two get closer to each other (father and daughter wise you perverts D< XD)
Episode 162: In this episode, Rin is captured by a demon (Man...same ol thing. Poor girl ;;) who entrances children with a flute and traps them in a cave to devour later (And this is where, ladies and gents, when squirrels came from XD) . Rin seats herself with the other frightened children and calmly waits for Sesshoumaru to rescue her ('hears trumpet noises' Okay...that was um....unecessary XD) since she considers him more powerful than this demon and remembers that he comes every time she's in danger (man, I wouldn't mind being rescued :P). She confesses to the children that she fears humans more than demons because humans kill for no reason, something the other children do not understand. (I would think the same thing. You know how people say guns kill people? Well, guess WHO's using them?)
Well, it just so happens that these itinerant group of monks bent on destroying all demons (My god! See why demons get pissed? I would if they dilly dally on my property. Reason why there's a thing called Ying and Yang kids. Education my dear :P) heard about this cave and set off to look for it to kill the demon (Only reason? My god-the children! THE CHILDREN!). Although, Rin says she wants to wait for Sesshoumaru, the leader, and most powerful of the monks, begins to carry her off with them by force. Rin struggles and calls out for Sesshoumaru, who is concealed in the surrounding forest and it is not clear if it is his intention to intervene or if he means to allow the monks to take Rin with them (believing that she would be better off living among humans (Oh hell no. I would rather live with him than them-the disgusting humans of their time >< egh).
When he hears Rin call out for him, he decides to reveal his prescence to him. Of course, the monks being stupid and having too much pride, try to destory Sesshoumaru using the same technique they used on the demon that were stealing the children which is the subordinate monks encircle Sesshoumaru, removing rosaries of sutra beads from their kimonos to hold as they cast paper sutras at them. The leader uses the focus stone on his staff to send purifying energy to the various sutras. However, since Sesshoumaru is a taiyoukai, he possesses far greater powers than any other demon the monks have faced, he is still standing when the smoke clears being unharmed and irritated. (Hell, I would too.)
Undeterred, the leader orders his monks to 'bind his legs' as Sesshoumaru begins to walk towards him and the captive Rin in his arms. The other monks surround him and encircle Sesshoumaru in a barrier, symbolized by blue flames in a ring on the ground at Sesshoumaru's feet. The leader firmly plants his staff in the ground, which activates the purifying energy of the barrier, while Sesshoumaru, at this point, begins to loose his tamper and places his hand upon Tokijin's hilt. But, when a surge of from the leader's own purification powers through the focus stone at Sesshoumaru, he releases Tokjin's hilt. His rage is so great that he begins to transform, his hair all jaggedy, as well as the strips, his teeth become pointed-the whole enchilada. The moment before his transformation, his full yoki at his command, he uses it to shatter the focus stone at the head of the leader's staff. The explosion following afterward also destorys the monks' sutra bead roasaries and knocks the monks from their feet, including the leader, and frees Rin from his grip.
Rin runs toward Sesshoumaru but the leader calls out to her, telling her that she belongs with humans, tha a demon like Sesshoumaru doesn't care about her. Rin remembers Jaken telling her that she will eventually die, and likely long before Sesshoumaru establishes the empire he is bent on creating (that I do not know of yet XD). Sesshoumaru turns his back to the scene and tells Rin to do what she wishes. Rin hesitates and the leader thinks he has saved her but, she simply smiles warmly, waves fareewll and runs off after Sesshoumaru. Once they rejoin Jaken, Rin spots a lonely grave along their path and sweetly asks Sesshoumaru not to forget her if she should die. Sesshoumaru's only response is an expression of surprise and utters the words: "Such a foolish thing...". It has been said that this means that Sesshoumaru considers such a request foolish, because he could never forget Rin.
Chapter 467-471 - Rin and Kohaku (who has joined Sesshoumaru's group when he was saved by the demon lord) are taken by the "Dog from Hell", Sesshoumaru follows the dog to kill it but inteands on saving Rin and Kohaku. Sesshoumaru's mother makes a comment that "it can't be helped that some sacrifices are needed for the sword to mature". The next frame shows Rin unconsious and in bad shape. Sesshoumaru's mother mentions that as her son goes on the "Path of Darkness", Rin will die. At the end of the chapter, Kohaku says that Rin is not breathing which leaves Sesshoumaru with a look of disbelief and shock. Sesshoumaru tries to revive her by using Tenseiga, however, he could not see any Pallbearers of the Afterlife. Rin's lifeless body is then taken by the master of Hell but, Sesshoumaru and Kohaku choose to go down the path where there is Rin's scent to rescue her. But, by choosing by this path, both Sesshoumaru and Kohaku lose their only chance of going through the portal which Sesshoumaru's mother created to get back to the real world. Rin appears dead and revival using the Tenseiga is not possible since it can only save someone once (although, Jaken was saved twice. Silly Rumiko xP). Sesshoumaru's mother revives Rin when she, Sesshoumaru and Kohaku return from the Land of the Dead, using her Meidou-stone. She soon wonders by reviving Rin, that it makes her son happy, and Jaken says it does. Sesshoumaru's mother also makes a comment about how he has become like his father.
So you see boys and girls, there's compassion in everyone ;D Just needs to take time to find it.

Identity: This is Rin's 'pet' and Sesshomaru's help to get transported from once place to another. You could also say it's the 'babysitter' of Rin since it watches her in the second season when Sesshomaru and Jaken go somehwere.
Personality: Well, you could say they're protective and obediant.
Appearance: A brown looking dragon body while the 'mane' on them are black. The 'saddle' on their form is black with the trim red while the edges are lined with 'strings' of white, which are attached to the front of their chest. Did I also mention it's two headed?
Abilities: Lightning attacks from their mouth as well as flying.

Race: Human
Gender: Male.
Age: 11 (Age when he died.)
Birthplace: Village in Japan that had demon slayers.
Identity: Sango's younger brother. He has been a servant for Naraku, who brought him back to life by putting a shard of the Shikon no Tama in his back.
Personality: Mainly, he was a little bit nervous facing the demons he would fight but-he's sweet and caring-like his sister.
Appearance: His hair (bangs) is styled almost like Kagome's and has a darkish-greenish feel to it-like it's dirty. He always wears it up in a ponytail and wears black and topaz colored looking armor while the cloth is mint.
Relation with Sesshoumaru: Well, he was at first with Naraku but Kagura helps him to escape. He joins Kikyou, believing traveling with her will be the only way to redeem himself, knowing full well that she may sacrifice his life to complete the Shikon Jewel to defeat Naraku. He still remains by her side until she tells him to seperate from her for fear of being unable to keep his shard pure. However, he is nearly captured by Byakuya and is saved by Sesshoumaru. He has now joined Sesshoumaru, Rin, Jaken and Ah-Un. How long? It's unknown. But, what about reviving him? Seshoumaru's mother told him he could not revive him back with Tenseiga because he was revived by the Shikon Jewel.
