in order of appearance

Sesoron
Human Male
Sesoron is the lord of Polis, the spectacular nation-city. Considering he founded it 800 years ago and is still kicking, he might be something special. He presided over the trial of Wolfgang, and after his sentence was carried out, he announced that Polis was taking its first province: he was going to occupy Zwergheim and take Wolfgang as a vassal king. He then dispatched a number of the party members, as well as other recent graduates from his academy.

Classmates from the Academy (from left)
Lance
Human Male
Considered to be the "leader" among the unpopular clique of himself, Sabina, and Ulf, he's a laid-back magic user. He was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zwergheim, and spoke out when there was controversy over exactly what their mission was in the country.

Niobe
Human Female
An attractive red-headed girl, sought after by the boys, she's also a strong melee fighter with a greatsword. She was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zergheim.

Sabina
Human Female
She's a rather bookish student of magic; she's pretty, but her powerful mind intimidates most would-be suitors. She was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zergheim and spent most of her time enroute either hanging around with her brother and Lance or studying.

Ulf
Human Male
While he's Sabina's brother, he doesn't have much of her intellect; he is, however, a monster with a falchion. He was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zwergheim and sparred enroute with Seebo.

Deiter
Human Male
A snobbish yet pious follower of the god Odin, glasses-clad Dieter enjoys throwing around his influence as a noble and a powerful halberd-wielder. He was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zwergheim and spent some time sparring and talking with Seebo. He mentioned that he had been involved in peacekeeping campaigns in the Goblin Country.

Sappho
Human Female
The lovely Sappho is openly sought as a mate by Ulf, Dieter, and Ratch, but swears that her priestly vows to Odin forbid her from any such activity. She was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zwergheim, and over half a year later she still venomously rebuffs most male attempts at friendly contact. Seebo did, however, manage to extract the information from her that she had been contending a small amount with undead uprisings in Nox.

Ratch
Human Male
Pursuant of Sappho and spiteful rival with Lance, Ratch tries to learn as many different fighting techniques as possible; he's even picking up some unarmed martial arts from Fox, his closest friend. The party encountered Ratch among the converts in the Temple of Sammael, more or less the spokesman for a throng of adolescents. He attacked, but when the battle went sour he withdrew and surrendered the key. He has entered sort of a reluctant truce with the party, and on the record has severed his ties with the Cult. He was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zwergheim and was hounded by Sesoron's guards the whole way.

Fox
Human Male
Fox, a foreign student from the country of Tougoku, spends most of his free time with Tsurae (his countryman) and Ratch. His real name is Kitsunezaka Shin'ichirou, but he shortens it for the sake of his linguistically challenged classmates. He's a consummate martial artist. He was met along with Ratch and the other young followers of Sammael, but only claimed he was only really along to keep an eye on Ratch. While challenging fellow martial artist Gabriel to a spirited match, he urged them to go easy on his friend, and he is now happy to leave the cult behind. He was assigned to come with on the mission to occupy Zwergheim.

Vorwen
Half-Celestial Elf Female
Vorwen has appeared several times on the behalf of a mysterious organization, requesting favors of the party that typically involve deeds of altuism and peacemaking. She has a tendency to show up late to scheduled meetings, but we'll forgive her, because she's unnecessarily attractive and scantily clad.

The Bishop
Goblin Male
"The Bishop" was encountered by a group of the party's classmates. From their account, he dressed in dark-colored priestly robes, bore a certain unholy symbol (later found to be that of Sammael), and wielded magic. This report was confirmed when the party encountered him alongside Hansjoerg in Zwergheim. He expressed an interest in the Black Spheres, asking how the party had found the previous ones. It was discovered, however, that he was communicating and casting spells through an illusion, and the real The Bishop was nowhere to be found after the dust settled. The Bishop appeared later as one of the Six Apostles of Sammael, the group of his highest followers that were responsible for his resurrection. He teleported away after his dark lord was restored. Soon after, the party was requested by a hobgoblin warrior named Yasar to assist in the defeat of The Bishop and his vile army: along with a force of hobgoblins, they managed to surround his soldiers -- led by himself and the archdevil Bel -- in a canyon; The Bishop was handily killed by Stoutspell on March 7, 805.

Griggs
Elf Male
Griggs is a self-titled pirate captain, though he seems to be retired from the privateering lifestyle. He nonetheless still sails the seas to the north of Polis, and seems to have ties with Vorwen. He was also assigned as the captain of the ship that took the party on their mission to occupy Zwergheim, during which voyage he spent most of his time playing magical pranks of Wolfgang, aided by Rynn.

Bethuel
Human Male
Bethuel confronted the party after their defeat of "The Witch" in the northern tundra region. Appearing totally unarmed and unarmored, he has demonstrated that he needs neither. After both of his appearances, he has then disappeared magically without a trace. He seems to be keen on getting members of the party to join his group, whatever group that may be. When he came upon the party in the red dragon's cave near Arubus in Ikalia, he was seen alongside Nyam'Djo'In, and it seemed that they were both searching for the black sphere which the party had just destroyed. He was eminently present at the completion of the ritual for the resurrection of Sammael: it was his punch to the face of Guz the delivered the necessary blood that would complete the spell. After Sammael appeared, he used word of recall to escape with Deathgar's body and Nyam'Djo'In.

Sasha Mihailovich
Human Male
Sasha is an obvious spellcaster with oddly glowing blue eyes. He runs a small magic shop out of his house in the country of Nox with his wife and children. A message brought by one of his subordinates, however, has indicated that he is no longer available, but something monumental is going to occur. It stands to reason that the resurrection of Sammael would be the fulfillment of this prophecy.

Deathgar
Orc Male
Deathgar, as he was referred to by Kesshuu and Nyam'Djo'In, is the commander of a large faction of orcs. He was encountered leading a seige against the capitol of Nox, the purpose of which was later discovered to be the acquisition of a black sphere, which the party destroyed. In retaliation, Deathgar sicked a century of his men on the party, viciously goading them back into battle when the tide had turned against them. Though he proved invulnerable to the party, he let them be after "testing" them. He wears the same unholy mark of Sammael that was found on The Bishop's men. He fought during the resurrection of Sammael, but was struck down by a spell from Sophitia. Bethuel did manage to recover his body in his escape, though, and Kesshuu has informed the party that due to his heroic sacrifice Sammael revived him as a death knight. He is currently leading allied Orc and Gnoll hordes in the demon war.

Duke Branimir Rusic
Human Male
Duke Branimir is the artistic nobleman in charge of the small country of Nox. He was hoarding a black sphere which he used to hold his capitol under a cloud of eternal night, for the sake of his crush on a local vampire merchant woman, but the party managed to convince them that remaining stubborn would precipitate war between the Orcs and himself and, by extension, Polis.

Romanitza Ivanescu
Vampire Female
Romanitza is the beautiful vampire for whom Duke Branimir kept his city in eternal night. She runs a very lucrative business out of Nox, but was severely disappointed when her night was taken away. Despite her constant spurning of Branimir, she seems to have developed an interest in Guz.

Kesshuu
Human Male
Kesshuu is a native of Tougoku and is Tsurae's father. He appeared alongside Nyam'Djo'In and gave the party a thorough magical thrashing. It was later revealed that he was descended from a great dragon god, Koryuusai, and he seems to have a history with Tenkazu. He tipped off the party as to Tenkazu's whereabouts. He condemns Tenkazu for his "childish" use of his demonic powers. During the battle against Tenkazu, Kesshuu annihilated his former friend's army. He didn't appear again until the ritual of the resurrection of Sammael, at which he used his magic to fly above the battle and paralyze several party members. When a spell from his own ally Morgana was getting out of hand, he took it upon himself to dispel it. When Sammael was restored, Kesshuu shot him a casual greeting and teleported away. Later, when the party sought him out in Tougoku, they found him in his townhouse in Ikoma, seeming unusually dejected and depressed. Kaisuke spoke for him much of the time, and Kesshuu remained fairly ambivalent about Elohim's performance. After the party moved to attack and teleported to a forested island, the pursuant party found a note from "Steve's Dad", a name that most likely refers to Kesshuu, suggesting that if the retainers were dealt with, he would cooperate; this deal was fulfilled, and Kesshuu confessed a great deal of information to the party, including Sammael's location, the doings of other Apostles, the last known locations of the summoned archfiends, and the location of an allied elven and Order encampment on the edge of the demon war. He has specifically requested that his betrayal of the cult remain secretive, lest he be found out and killed, and sees it inevitable that, if she remains alive in three days' time, Nyam'Djo'In will return and find out his betrayal.

Nyam'Djo'In
Drow Female
Nyam'Djo'In is the sinister drow woman who accompanied Kesshuu when he met the party. Her devious combat tactics wrought destruction across the party, in harmony with Kesshuu's debilitative magics. She bears the same mark as Deathgar and The Bishop. She appeared with Bethuel in the red dragon's cave in Ikalia after the party had slain a pair of other drow and destroyed a black sphere. She indicated that the continuous destruction of these spheres was a detriment to some plan that they had. The drow, who seemed by their unholy symbol to be allied with her, spoke of the two "apostles" who were nearby, and alluded to four others. She was present at the resurrection of Sammael, though she did little more than turning invisible and delivering a vicious thrust to Gabriel with her rapier. Kesshuu has claimed that he used to have a romantic relationship with her, but it had turned sour since suspicions arose of his faithlessness in the cult, and she visited only to "check up" on him. She is now supposed to be working with Deathgar in the demon wars, since her former demon patron, Graz'zt, has apparently been defeated.

Hansjoerg
Dwarf Male
Hansjoerg was alluded to briefly by Kesshuu and Nyam'Djo'In. It is now known that he is the reigning king of Zwergheim, the dwarf country, though he only came into this position through a violent coup culminating with the murder of the rightful king and the exile of his then-infant son. Presently, the dwarven armies, allied with the Marinan navy, are waging open war with the nation of Kalastan. The party first met Hansjoerg unknowingly when he challenged Wolfgang to a wrestling match on the shores of Kalastan after a failed raid by the allied dwarves and Marinans. Only later, when they encountered him and The Bishop in Zwergheim, did they learn that he was indeed the dwarf king, cousin of Wolfgang's father whom he personally killed to usurp the throne. During the fight, he was beaten within an inch of his life and taken prisoner. After being interrogated about the plans of his group and revealing that in a mere two weeks they would be moving to capture the final black sphere in Kalastan, he was executed by Wolfgang on December 11, A.U.C. 804.

Tsunomaru
Human Male
Tsunomaru first appeared in disguise as a monk, hiring the party to escort him across the war-torn countryside, with his face even more concealed than normal. However, upon reaching their destination, he was revealed to be the chief of Lord Kazemaru's Ukami warriors.

Kazemaru
Human Male
Kazemaru is the benevolent archon of Tougoku, exerting minimal influence in the region through the use of his Ukami warriors. He rules from the citadel on Shiroyama, a haven of education and spirituality. He gave his sword, Oathmaker, to the priest Klaus, in hopes that the magical blade would steel the party's will against the darkness threatening his land. Following Sammael's return, the Ukami Jounin trio betrayed their former master, supplanting him and replacing him with Kesshuu as a puppet ruler.

Tenkazu
Youkai Male
Youkai Tenkazu is the demon lord commanding a large force of marauding brigands, reaving oni, and various others. His forces have brought a great deal of chaos to Tougoku. He met the party at the heart of the tomb of Koryuusai, where he revealed a bit of the history of Tsurae's family, but promptly disappeared, leaving one of his monstrous minions to keep the party busy. He resents that Kesshuu, his former run-in buddy, abandoned "the gods that are tangible on earth" for "some theoretical idea in the sky." Tenkazu was defeated by the party and died on November 3rd, A.U.C. 804.

Maverick
Human Male
This individual was fought within an arrangement of megaliths in Tenkazu's forest and killed, all as per his own request, on November 3rd, A.U.C. 804. He wielded an adamantine sword that was recovered by the party; this sword was revealed to be Adamant Katana, the blade wielded by Amon's companion Maverick.

Gold Dragons
These majestic creatures were found inhabiting the dormant volcano of Dragon Island, guarding the ancient relic known as the Lance of Amon. Their patriarch, Kalydon, told the party the story of the primordial hero Amon and his devious nemesis Sammael. The wyrmling Arion has been dispatched to join the party on their journey; it was the female Chromia who administered that test that ultimately granted Seebo the sacred Lance. Later on, Kalydon appeared in human form as a witness at Wolfgang's trial and soon after was the one who informed him of Bahamut's divine penalty.

?
Amon
Human Male
Amon was an ancient warrior-emperor who over 10,000 years ago contested against the great Dragon Mother, alongside his four companions and his angelic ally Sammael. However, following the defeat of Dragon Mother, Sammael betrayed Amon, brutally attacking him and delivering a mortal wound. Yet the intense hatred of Amon for his now-enemy steeled his will and allowed him to track down Sammael for revenge. After striking a devastating blow with his fabled Lance, he succumbed to his wound and died.

Sammael
Angel Male
Sammael was, at first, an ally of Amon on his journey to defeat Dragon Mother. He was a member of the race of angels said to come before even the gods. For unknown reasons, he turned on his friend after the battle. It is for this betrayal that he is known as the originator of evil. Sammael fled after delivering a fatal wound, but was pursued doggedly and ultimately struck down. But, according to the word of the gold dragons, there has been a stirring of those who would worship him as a god, and the Lance of Amon had indicated that a trace of its ancient nemesis is located on the island nation of Ikalia, which is also the home of the red dragons. Following up on this lead, the party found one of the black spheres. Only one more of the black spheres was recovered -- by Leon Verdorbanen -- at which point they were all accounted-for. Evidently, the Apostles then conducted an elaborate ritual, and for whatever reason waited until the party's arrival on February 18, 805; as it turns out, it was the spillage of Guz's blood onto the magic circle that served as the catalyst for the reaction that at last restored Sammael to life 30 seconds later. The dark god, after a brief discourse with the party, flew outside of the Temple via a gate he opened in the ceiling and a cylindrical vortex in the water that offered passage to the skies above. He appeared after the death of The Bishop, delivering a cold mockery of a eulogy before insinuating that he had already killed a number of hobgoblin civilians and was about to continue with the goblins, owing to the fact that their leader had failed. He teleported away, only to be sighted again by the pursuant party in the goblin capitol, slaughtering numerous goblins before the party arrived; Sophitia made a pathetic attempt at attacking him, doing a meager about of damage before he retaliated with a brutal blast of divine energy and walked out, completely disdainful of those who would see him destroyed. According to Kesshuu, it was Sammael who summoned ten archfiends to the material plane in order to begin enacting the rule of evil in the mortal world. By his design, a ferocious demon war rages before his domain, which can only be entered against his will using the ten crystal fragments released whenever an archfiend is defeated and unsummoned.

Leopold
Human Male
This individual was fought within an arrangement of megaliths in the crater of an Ikalian volcano and killed on November 19th, A.U.C. 804. He wielded a flaming sword that was recovered by the party; this sword was revealed to be Laevateinn, the blade wielded by Amon's companion Leopold.

King Jackie Chambers of Ikalia
Human Male
Jackie Chambers is the madman who somehow won over the kingship of the island nation of Ikalia. The party met and fought him and his minions on November 21, A.U.C. 804 in his private theater in the heart of his ridiculous citadel. He constantly babbles about the Yellow Sign that the party keeps seeing around his city, sometimes to their mental detriment. He conducted the battle like some bizzare play before retreating.

King Ramesh of Kalastan
Rakshasa Male
King Ramesh is a disguised Rakshasa who ruled over the nation of Kalastan from seclusion in his extraplanar library. He claimed that everything there was a "gift", including the books, guards, and ridiculously difficult puzzle, and he surrendered his Black Sphere, the sixth and final, to Christof after a brief skirmish.

Leon Verdorbanen a.k.a. "Christof Lienhard"
Human Male
"Christof" was a trusted party member dating all the way back to the conflict with Tenkazu in Tougoku. However, when he retrieved the sixth Black Sphere from King Ramesh, he said his traitorous farewell speech and used the enchanted holy symbol recovered from Hansjoerg to teleport somewhere. When Sophitia encountered the group shortly after, she claimed that "Christof" was actually her brother Leon. A note left by somebody in Governor Caelius' mansion made reference to him and also referred to the resurrection of Sammael. Following up on this, the party managed to find the underwater Temple of Sammael and fought their way to the main chamber where the resurrection was to take place. There they found Leon among the six Apostles. He managed to escape along with Morgana once Sammael was restored.

Skuf
Fire Giant Lich Male
Skuf, an ancient servant of Surtur, resides in a volcano in the south of the dwarf country. Dalamar was forced to seek his wisdom in order to unlock further powers of the sword Laevateinn, but the party had to defeat Skuf and his vampiric underlings first. Skuf was actually destroyed in the battle, but Dalamar awaited his inevitable return six days later and received his aid in awakening the powers of Laevateinn.

?
Human Female
This mysterious girl was the "witch" commanding an "army of the dead" that decimated the people of Zwergheim. When the party confronted her, they were killed to the last man in the ensuing battle between the party and the girl with her undead minions.

?
Charne Temnayta
Human Female
After the party was slaughtered by the girl in the onyx mine, they found their souls being called back to life from beyond by Charne after an indeterminate amount of time. They woke up fully restored but lacking all of their property, lying in beds in a cottage at the base of the mountains, all with daisies on their chests, yet Charne was conspicuously absent.

General Marcus Iulus
Human Male
General Iulus is the commander of two legions in Julianum, one of infantry and one of warmages. There had been some rumblings that he has ties to some of the underground power centers of Marina, which were confirmed when he was cited duscussing tactical movements with a man magically disguised as governor Caelius. He participated in the last clash with that man, who turned out to be Zemario, and was killed on Feburary 15, 805.

?
Human Male
This man, commander of a sailing vessel sighted in Julianum, was seen with his five crewmen leading some sort of captive nobleman from their ship to a warehouse where they had him tied up and were awaiting the arrival of a "client". When the group returned together to the warehouse, the six sailors and their captive were gone.

Don Augusto Salgado
Human Male
Don Salgado is the head of a Mafia household who lives in a mansion in Plotianum guarded by a contingent of stealthy henchmen. After routing a few of his soldiers, his son among them, the party barged into his house where they eventually found him. After a brief skirmish, the party, thanks to Garret's snooping, caught wind of Don Zemario's plans to kidnap the governor from his mansion across town, they broke off from the combat, which they seemed to have been losing due to the incorporeal nature of the Don and the invisible nature of whatever creature it was that he was controlling. In the fight, he wielded a sword once carried by Sophitia and later by Adrianna.

Ferdinando Salgado
Human Male
Ferdinando is the son of the Don of the Salgado family. He, along with numerous mafia henchmen, greeted the party in the courtyard of the mansion after their several ill-fated attempts at breaking in. When a hold monster spell from Eikel's cohort was able to momentarily paralyze him during the fight, he took severe punishment, but managed to break away in time to save his own life. He was not seen again. His fighting style was a mixture of unarmed martial arts and swordsmanship using a blade comprised of crackling energy that sprang seemingly from his hand.

Don Zemario Galvo
Half-Elf Male
Zemario, who was once a childhood friend of Dalamar, thought long dead, has resurfaced as the Don of the Galvo family. He engineered the kidnap of Governor Gnaeus Caelius and his family, and as he was escaping he confronted, one-at-a-time, Seebo and then Gabriel. Seebo was tricked into diving into a gate which promptly closed behind him, trapping him in another plane until he made a deal with local deity Nerull. Sophitia, upon interrogating remaining Galvo thugs, discovered that Gabriel had been disintegrated and then used her divine influence to restore him to life. The party discovered a note left by him in the temple of Loki, hinting at the conspiratorial nature of the war that was now being started between Marina and Polis. Following this hunch, the party found him in the Governor's mansion. They fought him along with General Iulus, two giant guards, and two mafia lieutenants, and he was killed on February 15, 805.

?
Governor Gnaeus Caelius of Glaucia
Human Male
Governor Caelius, who normally rules from the citadel in Ancae, was on holiday at his mansion in Plotianum when he was kidnapped along with his wife, two sons, and three daughters by members of the Galvo family led by Don Zemario. Word from low-level Galvo operatives was that they may have been held at the Temple of Loki, a complex hidden even from Galvo thugs. However, investigation of the temple revealed that only the bodies of other members of his family were there.

Don Lorenzo Pyrrho
Red Dragon Male
Don Pyrrho, who was originally confronted polymorphed into human form, is in fact an 800-year-old red dragon who frequently used his magic to consort with mortals. He is said to have had nine sons, of whom only one was present at the battle. He holds audience with those whom he deems worthy in a great chamber located deep below his mansion in Oenopium. Of particular note to the party, he had acquired Laevateinn, the sword of Leopold, and used it to particularly great effect in the battle. He was beaten to submission, though, before he had the chance to unleash the power of his true form, and when Seebo broke the armistice Pyrrho had offered, he was quickly slain. He died along with his son on February 5th, A.U.C. 805.
Drawing by Cordelia Palmer Shemo

Dario Pyrrho
Half-Red-Dragon Male
Dario is the 6th son of Don Pyrrho, younger by centuries than his oldest brothers due to the extremely long period of his father's virility. Dario had a hand in the kidnap of the governor and his family in that at as a result he acquired as a bride the governor's eldest daughter. Dario fought alongside his father and delivered a savage beating unto Wolfgang before he was himself killed.

Caelia
Human Female
Caelia, at the age of 17, is the oldest the three daughters of Governor Caelius. She was kidnapped and forced to marry the half-dragon son of Don Pyrrho in order to legitimize the authority of the Pyrrho family, but when the party fought it out with Pyrrho and Dario, she was liberated.

Marcus Brutus
Human Male
Elder Assassin Marcus brutus was the leader of the three assassins who interrupted the assassination of what the Galvo agents thought was Judge Gaius Aurelius. Since the bodies of the Galvo people weren't surrendered to them, Brutus promised that, if not those three, then they would eventually take some three bodies to compensate. Marcus Brutus was seen wielding Adamant Katana and claims to have been the one to integrate the martial arts of Tougoku -- of which use of the katana is one -- into the Assassins' Guild.

?
Lilith
Female
As reported by Seebo, Lilith was the lover of Amon. A vase with a long-dead red rose in it, marked on the bottom with the phrase "To Lilith", written in Infernal, was found in a cave containing an ancient arcane machine that Darkeyes believes is connected to the disappearance of his childhood friend.

Yasar
Hobgoblin Male
Yasar was the general of a faction of hobgoblins who opposed The Bishop and his diabolic servants. He sought out the party in Zwergheim for aid in the revolution he was attempting to rouse against The Bishop, and they followed him to a bugbear slave camp where they captured the slaver Vagi and extracted information as for The Bishop's movements. The next stop was at the last surviving hobgoblin fortress, where they hoped to break a goblin siege; however, upon arrival, they found that the siege was already being broken by a group of dragon riders. After the goblin and kython legions were routed, the party entered the fortress with Yasar to prepare for the march against The Bishop. Yasar planned the attack against The Bishop's army and participated valiantly, but after the battle he was slain by Sammael after learning that a number of his people had already been killed back at the fortress.

?
This group of five dragon riders was seen to have broken the goblin siege of the hobgoblin fortress, and they later explained that they opposed the forces of Sammael due to their ancient grudge for Sammael's participation in the slaughter of Tiamat's mother. When Wolfgang challenged the black rider, Vutha, to a duel, he was quickly slain while the other riders and their dragons looked on from the air; Vutha ran off to track down some of the routed goblins, and the others flew after him. Kesshuu has informed the party that these riders have been after the summoned archfiends as well, and might possess some of the fragments. They are said to be flying around the demon war, contributing to the general destruction of fiends.

Asmund
Human Male
Asmund appears to be a leader in the underground group known as the Order of the Twofold Bridge, and has mentioned a connection to Vorwen, specifically that he had heard that Guz and Wolfgang had undergone missions under her guidance. He is involved in the evacuation and protection of frightened Marinan citizens in the wake of the diabolic scourge that is sweeping the empire.

Emperor Gaius Pompeius Falco
Human Male
Since the return of Sammael, it has appeared that devils had taken control over Marina, while the Emperor ousted the provincial governors to claim full administrative authority over his outlying territories and imposed sanctions on the mages' guild to prevent the sale of magic to those not indoctrinated into the servitude of the Empire. Upon allowing themselves to be captured by Emperor Falco, the party learned that he was in fact working alongside -- or as a puppet to -- Asmodeus, Lord of the Ninth Layer of Hell.

Kaisuke
Wild Elf Male
Kaisuke was one of Kesshuu's retainers, but he seemed to do most of the talking for his master. He was specifically antagonistic to the party members, particularly Elohim. When the party searched near his position on the island, he ambushed them, killing Koric in an instant, but eventually falling before Lucius and Darkeyes. He died from a dagger through the through on March 9, A.U.C. 805.

Hebi
Maenad Male
Another of Kesshuu's retainers, this man played a stringed instrument known as a shamisen. He lured the party into the woods on the island with haunting echoes of his music and fought a fierce musical duel with Elohim before they found him floating in the air as if seated on an illusory tree. He made a few sonic and psychic attacks against the party before he was slain. He died on the morning of March 10, A.U.C. 805.

Onitake
Kelvezu Male
Onitake appeared standing in a clearing after watching Lucius and Darkeyes argue over a sword for a good long while, goading them on to fight (as a fight between them would make his job easier) before he finally challenged Lucius to a duel. Just as he felled his foe, Lucius realized that he was in fact the demon who had previously killed his entire family. Exacting his revenge, Lucius beheaded him. He was killed on March 9, A.U.C. 805.
