My dogs originally come from both showing and working stock in America and Europe, although I am currently working towards all German/European lines.
They are medium drive animals with great instincts and wonderful personalities.
I have chosen dogs who carry positive traits from both ancestries. For example, my dogs have good strong bone structure and are well muscled like dogs from German lines without the severe angulation and thin boning that is often found in pure American line dogs.

My dogs are also more calm than dogs from strictly German lines , yet they are more discriminating and intelligent than American dogs: neither fearful or overly aggressive. They are less active and less dominant than typical German or Czech dogs which makes them better pets, yet they still retain the abilty to work, the energy to do so and the willingnes to please, which many American bred dogs have lost.
Combining the healthy and able bodied showlines from Europe and Germany that carry the qualities that I want. I have been able to ensure that our dogs will be highly intelligent, trainable and extremely loyal to their families, because we have combined the best of both German and Europeanlines. Our dogs are both family pets, and protection animals, and tracking dogs.
I don't cage or pen up the pups except for crate training purposes. They can run and play out in the yard at all times. The exercise is so good for them, and Mom gets to spend a lot of time teaching them "puppy manners". Visitors get to see them running and playing, not sitting in a kennel cage.
