Our Creed, Our Promise...
Purpose
The Sentinels of Freedom of Central Florida is similar to the national program. It was created to benefit qualified members of the US Armed Forces, for those severely injured in the line of duty on or after September 11, 2001. The program helps the veteran readjust to civilian life and prosper in their home towns or new communities.
Local Support
The Sentinels of Freedom of Central Florida is a Florida Corporation registered with the IRS as a 501C3 non-profit organization. Our local organization is headed up by a volunteer support team of community leaders.
Fundraising
All funds that are needed to support our severely handicapped veterans is derived from our community. We have no professional fund raisers. Approximately 96% of those monies raised goes directly to the needy veteran. In 2008 we had a successful fundraiser at the Rosen Plaza that together with corporate and individual donations, Civic Clubs and Vehicle donations.
