THE METAL HERO PAGE.
In 1982, a new tokusatsu saga was born, the metal hero age. The first "Metal Hero" show, Space Sheriff Gavan spawned such sequels as Uchuu keiji sharivan (space sherif sharivan, 1983), Uchuu keiji shaider(Space Sheriff Shaider, 1984 and became a hit metal hero show in the philippines), Jikuu Senshi Spielban (Dimensional Warrior Spielban, 1986), and Cho Jinki Metalder (Superhuman Machine Metalder, 1987), all of which were used for Saban's VR Troopers (1994), as well as Juukou B-Fighter (Heavy Armor B-Fighter, 1995) and B-Fighter Kabuto (1996), which were adapted into Saban's Big Bad Beetleborgs (1996) and Beetleborgs Metallix (1997).
The Seniors of the metal hero saga: Gavan(1982-1983), Sharivan(1983-1984), and the legendary Shaider(1984-1985) who inspired many pinoy toku lovers until now.
After the space sheriff saga ended, a new breed of metal warriors was born starting with Juspion.

In 1989, the space sheriff /dimensional hunter/cyborg metal hero was replaced with special police/rescue saga. This is were Mobile Detective Jiban was introduced.

And was followed by the 1990's Special Rescue Winspector w/c nintroduced the multiple metal hero innovation and was nlater utilized throughout the other rescue metal heroes w/c also had a sequel, 1991's Solbrain.
