Sandy was mauled by dogs when she came from the pound. All this has healed and she is not timid with other dogs now. She is spritely girl, who is very interested in what is going on around her. Robbie - Maltese - Male -Older

Isn't he handsome! Meet our Robbie. Freshly clipped and feeling so much happier after the DABS vet gave him a full dental. Robbie is a chunkier size maltese but still a small dog. He enjoys all the things a little dog loves: yummy food, furry friends and a comfy place to curl up. All he needs now is a loving home where he can be someone's best friend. When Gevieve arrived from the pound she was having so much difficulty breathing she was blue & every second breath was a moist cough. The vets took chest xray & found her lungs were so congested that they couldn't see her heart at all. She has spent several weeks at the vet and each day she has been improving. She was riddled with fleas. She has been de-flead, bathed, brushed & trimmed. Her appetite is now imporving but only with hand feeding. Melody - Maltese Female - 8 years

Melody is a great performer - when you pass her cage she will dance for you and hope to get your attention. She is very quiet and of course, cute.

Melody is such a enchanting little dog who gets on well with cats, loves to show you how cute she is by doing little tricks.

She returns the ball and even dances.

Perhaps that's why she is called Melody..

Dodo - Maltese - Female - 10 years

Dodo is the sweetest little girl who is very lively and affectionate.  Unfortunately Dodo also has some health issues. We have found she has a heart murmur and a problem with her back legs but it doesn't seem to stop her.  At this stage her health is not causing any additional costs.  She is still very active and extremely lovable.  f you have it in your heart to give a home to a beautiful dog with a few health problems you'll be repaid a thousand times over with love and kisses.  To meet Dodo is to love Dodo.  Dodo is available for a reduced cost of $150.00

Twinkle was a sad mess when he came from the pound. He has had a dental, had his hernia repaired and given him a bath and clip. Twinkle is just so much happier & he is such a cute little boy with a funny little personality. His eyesight is not the greatest, but he can see. Twinkle weighs 3.2kg and we are fattening him up. Sheena is a lovely shepherd girl that has found herself surrendered to the pound for unknown reasons. Sheena is friendly but looks like a guard dog which is a bonus. She is good with other dogs too. Sheena has had some training and is well behaved. Perfect as an easy to manage family pet that is all grown up. Sheena is spritely and enjoys a walk every day. More than anything, she likes to be close to her carers and just "hang around" the house. If you are looking for a larger dog that is easy to manage then she could be your new girl! Teresa - Silky X - Female - 10 years

Teresa is a sweet old girl that is looking for a quiet home to potter around in. She is very easy going and gets along with other dogs of all sizes.

Teresa was not in the best condition when she came to us. She has had a long term flea allergy (which is now cleared up) and looks to have had alot of puppies. She has had a dental and had a few teeth removed.

Her eye sight is great (the camera is making her eyes look like that) and her hearing is still going fine.

Teresa is house trained, fine with cats and a quiet girl. She enjoys her food and loves a cuddle at night time.

Mildred has been rescued from death row and is the loveliest old girl. She is great with other dogs, friendly and gentle.
