Things have been kind of quiet on the health front since Mark's last round of Rituxan in February-March 2006. By my calendar the medication has not taken effect yet. It makes me leery when things are quiet like this. From past experience this makes me fear something big looming on the horizon.
Our major concern right now is medical bills. Too much has ben piling up for too long. Creditors, bill collectors, attorneys are calling us and writing to us daily.
Right before Christmas last year, there was a snafu with Social Security where our money was not deposited into our bank account. We are still playing "catch up" from that catastrophe.
I, myself, have had a couple of health issues in the past few months. I had a severe reaction to a medical bandage after I twisted my foot, which left the foot swollen and extremely infected for weeks. I had to take several days off from work simply because I could not stand. I have also had "women's problems" and a severe bout of vertigo due to an inner ear infection.
I have no medical insurance whatsoever. So now part of these bills are mine.
