Fountain of Youth is a company that can bring happiness to elderly people citywide. Our service consists of a team of hairdressers and estheticians, who will travel to the homes of the elderly as well as retirement homes to provide services such as haircuts, colouring, nails, pedicures, manicures and so on. This will give our customers ability to call us on a weekly or daily or even monthly basis whatever they choose, we will come to them and do the service right in their home.
The business we’re in is a service and has some but not many competitors. In the near future we are sure that the amount of competition will increase giving the age of the baby boomers. We are not the only ones with this great idea. Our main competitors besides the other traveling salon business would be salons and hair studios in general. They offer the same things we offer just not in a mobile form. Are prices are relatively the same and the services are exactly the same however they do not travel to meet customers needs as well as we do. The industry right now is mediocre, however in the next 5-10 years our baby boomers will be retiring and many might want the option of hair and nail treatments. We believe there is great potential and opportunity in the industry.
