Selena Updates!
Sorry we haven't been able to update the site in FOREVER! We'll hopefully be able to update a lot more now that it's finally summer! For now, here are some exciting news about Selena!
Selena recently finished filming the movie "Ramona and Beezus" in Vancouver, Canada. She was in New York for a little after that and flew to Toronto, Canada with Demi Lovato and the rest of the cast for the Princess Protection Program premiere. She is now back in LA and she reported she'll be getting back to work on Wizards of Waverly Place again soon, too!

As of yesterday, March 26th, we are officially ONE YEAR OLD! This is HUGE for us as we have been working all year to keep this site running! I'm back from Puerto Rico!
Hey everyone! I just got back very late last night from an amazing week in Puerto Rico! Therefore, our little one-week hiatus is officially over! My trip was great and very relaxing. Puerto Rico is absolutely GORGEOUS! I recommend everybody go, and if you do, be sure to go snorkeling or scuba diving along a reef and check out the rainforest, El Yunque! Horseback riding along the beach is also really cool, so I recommend that too! Anyways, we are back and running and we will be updating the site as often as possible with any new Selena stuff, so be sure to keep checking back! Thanks!

Hey Selena fans! SO sorry we haven't been able to get on for the past couple of weeks! However, we have some very exciting news to share with you!! As some of you might know, our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY/BIRTHDAY is coming up on March 26th!! This is VERY exciting for us, and because of that, we are going to CELEBRATE!! On March 20th, for my spring break, I am going out of town to Puerto Rico, so I will not be able to update the site. I am getting back on the 26th, so unfortunately, I don't think we'll be able to celebrate on our exact birthday because I won't get in until very late. However, we WILL be celebrating on the 27th of March, so be sure to stop by and join in the fun!
Like I said, I'll be in Puerto Rico from March 20th to March 26th, so I won't be able to update the site or respond to any guestbook signatures or e-mails during that time, but I'll be sure to do that right when I get home! After months of being found at freewebs.com/selenagomezfandotnet, we have finally gotten ahold of a domain name! So...we're moving! Our site will remain the exact same, it will just instead by located at SelenaGomezFan.Net! How exciting is that?! We found a wonderful hosting site, at fan-sites.org who will now be our host instead of Freewebs! We are so excited about this! Right now, the new site is under construction, and even after that site is up and running, we'll probably continue to update the site here, too, so you can continue to come to freewebs.com/selenagomezfandotnet if you'd like (basically, the two will be the exact same site, just with two different URLs). We will keep you updated with the latest news and we will be sure to let you know when the site over at fan-sites.org is ready so you can type in SelenaGomezFan.Net to find us! Once again, even when we've changed our domain name to SelenaGomezFan.net, you WILL still be able to find us at freewebs.com/selenagomezfandotnet, but only for a limited time until we get used to the new host. Selena Has a New Single on iTunes!
If you didn't know already, on August 5th, Selena released her brand new single called "Tell Me Something I Don't Know", which is from her newest movie Another Cinderella Story. Another Cinderella Story is rumored to hit stores September 16th. The single is upbeat and fun, so be sure you go to iTunes, check it out and buy it!
Selena's best friend Demi Lovato also released her single, called "Get Back" yesterday on iTunes, so be sure to go check that out, too!

Teen Choice!
I'm hoping you all watched the Teen Choice awards Monday night! It aired at 7PM Central on Fox, but for a whole hour beforehand, they had a red carpet special on TV Guide Network, where they interviewed all sorts of stars, like Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Fergie, Lauren Conrad, Carrie Underwood, Blake Lively and the rest of the Gossip Girl crew, and Selena Gomez!
If you watched the show, you probably saw Selena, along with JoJo and Miranda Cosgrove, mention a few of the awards they didn't have time to give out that night, and also present the award for Choice Summer TV Show, which was awarded to the show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager".
In case you missed the show, I posted a couple of videos below, one on the red carpet that includes an interview with Selena, (she clears up rumors about her dating a Jonas Brother in there!) and one of Selena, JoJo and Miranda presenting. And later today, we will be posting tons of pictures of Selena on the red carpet at the event in the Photo Gallery, so be sure to check that out when you can!
This was definitely an exciting Teen Choice Awards, and I can't wait for next year!
Exciting News!
8-3-08: Hey everyone!
I just wanted to check in to share a few quick exclusives and something really exciting!
First off-I found out that, yes, the Teen Choice Awards are airing tomorrow on Fox at 8PM/7PM ET, (which I talked about a few days ago) but, they are, in fact, being filmed tonight! How cool is that? So tomorrow's show won't be live, which is slightly disappointing, but it's cool to think that they'll be happening just a few hours from now! Hopefully no one who attended the show will spoil any winners before the show airs tomorrow night!
A few quick updates-we are currently in the process of building a whole new layout! That should hopefully be up within the next week. Another thing is that we are also currently adding tons of new pictures and videos to the Photo Gallery and Video Gallery. Freewebs was having some problems, so, unfortunately, the 50+ photos we already uploaded won't be available to view for a few days. But we will be adding a lot of new pix and vids within the upcoming week! If you haven't already, check out the brand new "Fan of the Month" page! You could very well be the next FOTM and win some sweet prizes!
If you're not signed up, you should seriously consider signing up to receive our e-newsletter. The last thing I wanted to tell you about was something I've been meaning to tell you about for quite some time. I've been a fan of Selena's since she first appeared on Disney Channel (October 07') and back in November or December of 2007, I decided to write a letter to Selena. I sent it and about two or three months later, I received something really wicked in the mail: a picture of Selena autographed to me from Selena herself!!! I was really excited. I scanned the picture and you can view it below. The picture doesn't have the greatest quality because it's a scan, so sorry about that.
The reason I wanted to tell you about this so bad, though, was to say that I highly suggest you write to Selena. Who knows? A few weeks later, you just may receive a picture of her autographed to you! To find her two fan mail addresses, go to our "Contact Selena!" page.

Selena Dating Nick Jonas?!
Happy Sunday, everybody!
A lot of you have been asking lately if the rumor that Selena is dating Nick Jonas of the band The Jonas Brothers is true or not, and I decided it'd be a good idea to clear that up here. According to Fox News, Selena "doesn't have a boyfriend." She cleared up the rumor, saying she is, in fact, not dating Nick. She also told Starpulse.com that she isn't dating him, but that she has a "huge crush on Shia LaBeouf. I want to work with him so bad. I think he's so cute." So there you go-Selena is NOT dating Nick Jonas.

Tune in Monday, August 4th, at 8 PM/7 PM Central on Fox for one of the most anticipated awards shows of the year: The TEEN CHOICE AWARDS 08! Miley Cyrus hosts the awards this year, and did we mention that her and Mandy Jiroux's (from the Miley and Mandy show on YouTube) dance crew M&M Dance Cru will bring their ongoing dance battle with the dance crew ACDC to the stage? That's right. Along with that, Miley will perform her hit "7 Things" and Mariah Carey will perform "I'll Be Lovin' You Long Time." To top it all off, the theme song of this year's TC is "Shake It" by Metro Station! (Quick trivia: Did you know that Miley Cyrus's brother Trace and Mitchel Musso's brother Mason make up a part of the band Metro Station?)
This is going to be one Teen Choice Awards you won't want to miss!

On Tuesday, July 22nd, Selena celebrated her Sweet Sixteen! I wasn't home all day, so unfortunately I wasn't able to update the site, but why not stop by her MySpace (myspace.com/selenagomez) and wish her a happy b-day? We at SGF.Net hope she had the best day ever and wish her the best! I was gone from 5:30 in the morning that day until midnight because my two friends and I went to a mall at 6:15 in the morning (it took us 45 minutes to get there) and waited 8 and a half hours to meet Selena's best friend Demi Lovato! Demi was supersweet and I got an autographed picture and I took a bunch of pix! I also took a video documenting the day, which I will post here soon! Demi also performed two songs exclusively from her new album (coming in the fall!) at the meet and greet! She has an INCREDIBLE voice! After the meet and greet, my friends and I headed to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre for a Jonas Brothers concert! Demi opened, (she was amazing!) and Avril Lavigne also performed about ten songs! She was great as well! I used to love her a long time ago, so it brought back great memories! And then, of course, JB performed for about two hours! The whole concert was four hours long, it lasted from 7 until about 11:15! The Jonas Brothers were amazing! This was my fourth time seeing them live, and they just keep getting better and better!
My friends and I were sad we were gone all day during Selena's birthday, but we had a blast, and we're sure Selena had a fabulous day! Thanks for checking out SelenaGomezFan.Net! Happy birthday, Sel!!!

Happy Fourth of July everybody! I hope you're all having a wonderful day! Today is the kickoff of The Jonas Brothers' summer tour, the "Burnin' Up Tour" in Toronto, Canada. Demi Lovato opens for them, and soon we'll find out if the rumors that Selena is tagging along for support are true or not. I wanted to let you know that I will be gone from tomorrow, July 5th through Thursday, July 10th on vacation. Did You Catch Selena in JB's "Burnin' Up" Video?
If you all watched Disney's latest DCOM, Camp Rock (featuring Selena's best friend Demi Lovato!) the night it premiered, June 20th, you probably stuck around long enough after it was over to catch the premiere of The Jonas Brother's newest music video for their single, Burnin' Up. And yes, if you watched it, you most likely noticed Selena in it! Of being in the video, she says, "It was amazing! It was so much fun and really nice of them to ask me to be in it." She was amazing in the video, and we've heard rumors that Selena may be joining Demi and JB on their "Burnin' Up Tour" this summer for support! However the rumors have not yet been confirmed or dismissed. Guess we'll have to wait until the kickoff of the tour, July 4th, to find out!
