Vision
Sta. Elena High School Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative seeks to become a model institution, responsive to the basic needs of the members, and competitive in its products and services.

Mission
To be a cooperative leader that gives the utmost importance to basic values and principles such as nationalism, entrepreneurship, creativity, honesty, teamwork and work ethics. To generate more businesses and be sensitive to the primary needs of the members, giving higher priority to products and services that will uplift the members’ standard of living.

History
Sta. Elena High School Teachers and Employees Multi Purpose Cooperative or SEHS TEMPC which is formerly named as Marikina High School- Sta. Elena Annex Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative found its birth as a Cooperative last March 2, 1999.

 Founded by thirty-seven teachers of Marikina High School- Sta. Elena Annex, the members of SEHS TEMPC has grown from 72 in 2003 to 98 in 2006. Lending is the first business venture of SEHS TEMPC which eventually increased after the principal of Sta. Elena High School decide to turn-over the school canteen operation to SEHS TEMPC. From P37, 000.00 in 1999, the total paid –up capital of SEHSTEMPC increased by 4, 495 percent, with P1, 706, 274.25 as its paid-up capital in 2006.

MHS-SEA Teachers and Employees Multi –Purpose Cooperative was amended into its present name on July 15, 2005. Today, the members of SEHS TEMPC not only include Sta. Elena High School teachers but also SEHS employees and Canteen Personnel. SEHS TEMPC ventures not only on Canteen operation and Lending business but also on Meat, Rice, E-Loading and Grocery business.

Objectives

Primary
To be engaged in Lending Activities, Canteen Operation and Management, Merchandising/Trading

Secondary
1. To actively support the government and other concerned organizations, both local and foreign, in promoting cooperatives as practical means towards sustainable socio-economic development under truly just and democratic society.

2. To develop the knowledge of the members on the principles and practices of cooperatives to enable them to actively and competently participate in managing the affairs of the Cooperative.

3. To institutionalize a dynamic savings mobilization and capital build-up schemes to sustain its development activities and long term investments, thereby ensuring optimum economic benefits to the members, and their families and the general public.

4. To implement policy guidelines that will ensure transparency, equitable access to its resources and services, and promote the interests of the members; and

5. To adopt such other plans as may help foster the welfare of the members, their families and the community.
