Sonic Advance 2 is the sequal to Sonic Advance. Sonic Advance 2 beats its predecessor in many ways. The graphics are better, more vivd and the animations are smoother. First off, the music and sound is much much better then Sonic Advance. The characters also run faster (if thats possible) to a point where they almost fly across the screen. The level design is about the same as the first game. Better in some areas. Sonic and friends also sport some new moves, such as the ability to lift yourself higher, Sonic does a scaled down "homing attack" and for all characters to grind. 2 New characters (Cream and Cheese) also make an appearence. Cream is a rabbit who can fly with her ears and Cheese is a chao who Cream uses to throw at enemies and destroy them. Boss battles are done on the run. Characters are running while fighting most of the bosses and the boss difficulty of course changes depending on what character you use. The worst part of the game is the special stages. the stages themselves are great and similar to the ones in Sonic CD, but to reach them you must go through the level and find hidden rings. With some characters this is a moderate task, but with sonic its extremely hard due to the fact he can't get back to some parts of the levels so if he over runs one, he's out-of-luck. The chao garden is also back and can connect to Sonic Adventure 2 battle. It's not much changed from Sonic Advance 1.

Little is known yet about Sonic Battle. It features a graphic design siimilar to that of Sonic 3D Blast (3/4 camera view). Sonic Battle puts 4 differnt characters in an arena to fight it out for Knock out points. So far the known characters are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow, and their are going to be 8 characters in all, plus a hidden character. The player chooses their character and the computer controls the rest. The player can also tell the computer what type of style to fight (ie attack style, defense style etc.) Once the battle begins the characters run around bashing eachother with simple attacks and more advanced special moves. You can dodge by jumping. Player movemenet and attacks all depend on the character. For example Sonic can Spin-Dash , Tails Fly and so on. A player scores a point for everytime they knock out someone, the person with the most knockouts at the end win. There are also team modes for team battles. The game is currently due to be released in 2004.
