It was back in 1996 that I first played that unforgettable game. I was 4 years old when I tried it out on my computer. lol. I was pretty smart back then. It started out like this...
My Mom came home one day, she had a pyramid shaped box in one hand and some groceries in the other. It was just me my mom and my grandma. me and my grandma were close and still are. well we were putting the groceries away when i saw My mom running up the stairs. I ran after. she jumps onto the computer right away and begins to install the game. I was curious to know what it was. I was used to the indiana Jones stuff 'cause of my grandma. but A GIRL! i was soo surprised. My mom told my grandma that she bought it at a pawn shop down the street. it worked fine to. It was $5. My mom loved that game than anything else other than me ofcourse. But one night i snuck onto my computer. I began to PLAY! at 4 years old i knew that this magnificant woman was going to change my life. I'm 13 now and I've always loved it. Well anyways, I sneak onto the computer. I never played any games on my computer other than the learning company. So i start playing around with the controls when the next thing i know is that I become a natural. Jumping from platform to platform. I began to make her do flips and shooting at random things. It was the best. I beat the game in three weeks, every night i would sneak on. We couldn't afford internet so i couldn't cheat, but back then i never really knew what cheating was. I was really a loner. lol. but Lara Croft. She really changed me. Its like every time i think about her its a diffrent feeling every time. Its like I wanna say that I adore Lara Croft and be like Thanks you really changed me. But then I remember she's not real. Its' funny how those things work. Dont ya think? Anyways when I was in gr2, I found out that my dad was in a terrible car accident. He didn't die. Thank God!. but it was pretty bad. Me and My mom were terrified for him. My grandma didn't really care much about him though. I remember that the very next day, on television me and my mom and my grandma, we all had our mouths screamming WOOOHOO!. The Tomb Raider Movie trailer was on. We loved it. it was soo adreanalating. It was like she's a really amazing creation. she always makes me smile. And pretty much thats my experience with Lara Croft!
