 I've been a poet for over 20 years. My publications include anthologies, magazines, and my own collection published by Publish America.

Causes

Below are charities that mean a lot to me, and I wanted to share the information with those that are interested in supporting these causes.

My mom lost her battle with Cancer on February 7, 2008.  She survived breast cancer twice before.  She died of bone cancer that spread. Cancer affects men, women and children.  There are many ways to donate.  I donate monthly, and you can to.  If you would like to donate, click on the image below to help fight cancer.

Animals are a part of our lives in so many ways. They are living creatures, and deserve not to be subjected to cruelty. If animals weren't part of our lives we would suffer in many ways. Livestock, Friends, Pets, Family...they are instrumental to our lifestyles. The ASCPA specifically ensures that domestic animals have every chance to find homes where they can be healthy and happy, as well as provide comfort and happiness to human beings in return. I'm a monthly supporter of this program in honor of my cat Butter (below), click Butter's image below to donate at the ASPCA.  

WWF caught my attention as a commercial. I was inspired to become a monthly supporter because wildlife is important to me, but also because my mom loved wolves and was an activist in protecting wolves and their environment. I wanted to continue her passion for the wolves, and my passion for wildlife and the environment by contributing a little every month. You can donate, or you can adopt an animal.
