The Path to Enlightenment..
There are certain things in life that just... are. Death and Destruction. Two unavoidable parts of the lives we live. Parts that so many others work so very hard to prevent, and avoid... why? Here, in DEMISE, settled in the abandoned lands of Keld, we embrace these things. Sometimes, we even offer them a little help.
..Starts with Death
Tired of factions that issue commands day in, and day out? Tired of commanders that lay down the law, and demand you to do what they want? Ever consider there was another option? Maybe working for yourself? That, rather than being forced to fight their battles, you could forge your own alliances to fight together? This, my friends, is true freedom. We are not a war waging army. We are not a group of assassins hellbent on ending the lives of everyone we see. We are not all mages, or healers. We all have our own interests, and under the values you set for yourself, here, you will thrive in your own right.
Out of Character:
The structure of the Union of Free Guilds, makes a Freelancer difficult to play. To aide in solving this issue, DEMISE works as a group in the Union, but the individuals control their assets. If your character earns DEMISE 78 CP in an event, that 78 CP is theirs to spend. Contracts, enhancers, upgrades. It is individual to the earning characters. Characters are free to hire themselves out to any entity in the forum for whatever price they negotiate with that entity, DEMISE will act as a holding place for the character to meet the requirements of the Union, while still being able to work under their own code. Assets earned through monthly land earnings, meeting attendance, and roster submissions are part of the Faction Bank. This bank is used to reward those who diligently forge their own path, and helping with upgrades to enhancers. This can be done randomly, or a character may apply for the aide by contacting the Priestess, Deputy Commander, and Keeper.
To be Clear:
DEMISE does not exist IC. There is no faction to relate to, or claim through your character. They are free of labels, and their own person. In the event of a declaration of war we will ask the members if they would want to participate. If the answer is no, we will decline and carry on with our business.
