The Second Round team is at it again. Second Round packed up and went to Arlington Virgina to compete at the U.S. Marine corps base. The facility was nice but the Second Round team would soon be getting down and dirty. Second Round took four boxers to fight but only Mark Baltimore and Antonio Freeman got a match up. Antonio scored a knockdown in the first round  with a left hook and then scored another knockdown in the second round with a jab. Antonio came out on top with the decision and brings home another victory to Second Round.  Antonio remains undefeated with a record of 6-0.   Mark Baltimore had a bye to the finals and fought in a tough match up but after a good showing was out pointed and suffered a defeat.

The Second Round Boxing Team traveled 12 hours to Memphis Tenn, and not to sight see! Mark Baltimore was faced with a defeat by RSC (Referee Stop Contest) because of a mouth piece situation. Rolando Santiago fought in his toughest victory yet but with an amazing pep talk in between rounds from Coach D, Rolando was able to pull out a victory. Antonio Freeman was no visitor at this national tournament as he also competed in the toughest match of his career. Antonio's opponent relied on jumping power shots that may have given him the first round but Antonio made adjustments and with hand speed was able to outpoint his Michigan man. Second Round is now the proud home of two national champions!

Second Round answered the bell this weekend as they traveled down to Dunn, N.C.

Antonio Freeman(second round) came out with a unanimous victory over Milo(Angels Boxing Gym). Milo had heart and never backed down but Freeman's hand speed and punch count was to much for Milo. Freeman took home the outstanding boxer plaque and remains undefeated. Jose(second round) fought tough but was outpointed by an opposing gym. Everyone at the bout showed great heart and congrats to everyone who stepped through the ropes. Second Round just wants to say thank you to the Dunn PAL for holding this event and all of their hospitality.
