Fun Water Activities for Young People in Royal Kingston

NAWAKA CAMP RULES

During the opening and the naval review everyone will wear the Scouting

Uniform or (in consultation) the Nawaka T-shirt or employee polo. On your

uniform ought to be the participant badge.

Please do not walk around at bare feet. Use swimming shoes while swimming.

Around the water side can be pieces of glass or illegal waste.

The Water Cleaning Company will watch the water quality. The water in the

“Gieseplas” is approved swimming water. Please keep it approved and prevent

waste to enter the water. It will not be allowed to use toilets at the guard ships

which drain off into the water.

Chemical toilets can be emptied at the camp grounds.

Digging holes and grooves is forbidden, just like open (camp) fires.

Making music or singing after 23.30 in sub camps, (guard) ships and in

Nawakafé’s is not allowed. Till 07.00 no aggregate will be turned on at the guard

ships. Night games are not allowed. There is a navigation ban from sunset till

sunrise.

A general navigation ban will be given by rising the storm ball in the central flag

pole (See storm regime)

Because of the policies and safety it is forbidden to smoke, except for in the

Nawakafé’s where smoking places will be marked and except for marked places

by the sub camp leaders.

Not one participant will cause trouble for one another. From 23.00 till 07.00 there

will be peace at the camp.

Participants will wear their participant proof (wrist tie) at all times. Also when

leaving the camp grounds. Employees will carry the employee tie. The entrance

guards can ask for it when returning. At the Nawakafé’s will be controlled for the

wrist ties or employee ties by the Team Catering.

Please use the toilets and keep them clean.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed at the camp grounds.

Please watch your waste and place it in the marked containers and bags.

Unacceptable behaviour, which disturbs other participants or employees, will not

be tolerated. At a 2nd warning the Camp Admiralty can act along their own

opinion.

Promotional activities, which work against the agreements with the official

Nawaka-Sponsors, are not allowed. This supervision will be done by the support

troops in cooperation with the Team Sponsors and Supplies.
