Artist Seahawk WANG-Radojcic (Haiying Wang) born 1968 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, is a member of the Beijing Branch Of Chinese Artists' Association. Her exceptional drawing ability and love for painting was demonstrated at age of 5, and 1987 she was enrolled in Northeast Teachers' University - Fine Arts Department of Changchun
having majored in engraving and etching. While in college, she had many
solo exhibitions widely publicized in local and national newspaper.
After graduation 1991, she declined work as a fine art editor in a
newspaper and devoted herself to oil paintings by "exploring" more
about art and continue to read art books about the WESTERN'S OLD MASTERS and by coping theirs masterpieces she grasped essence of they artistic' soul.
Chairman
Deng Xiaoping and Margaret Thatcher "DECISIVE MEETING" (oil on canvas by
Seahawk Wang-Radojcic) inspire her to start painting the theme:
"Celebration of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland" which was on
exhibition in China National Arts Museum, April 1997 and reported for
months and months by all national news papers, radio, TV and by
International News Agency - REUTERS...

For "Celebration of Hong Kong return to Motherland" International TV Limited Company invited 10 best Chinese artists to stay one week in Hong Kong and she was one of them.
She is the first in the right corner. From the left in the front row
are artists: Wu Qingxia, Cheng Shifa, Song Wenzhi, Qian Juntao and Shao
Luoyang. In the back row are artists: Wang Mingming, Cheng duoduo, Guo
Yizong, Han Tianheng and owner of International TV Limited Company.
"The
fast changes in technology, national affairs, international
crises, our every-day life and activities are affecting our PLANET,
which inspires me to think about animals and plants. I am an artist,
but much more importantly, I am a member of the Nature's global
village. It is unreasonable to take forcible action in order to conquer
own village... We need to follow and obey the rules set by our society
and Mother Nature..." was her next statement.
Her
next SOLO exhibition at China National Art Museum (1999), THE MAN and
NATURE or Chinese Green Revolution, had captured interest not only in
China, but also in Europe and specially in Germany, Austria, Italy,
with lucrative offer in money for her entire exhibition. But she
refused to sell any paintings. Her answer to eager buyers, during and
after exhibition in China National Art Museum was: "I want to wait 7-8
years and show AGAIN the entire exhibition so ALL HUMANS become more
aware of ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES and changes in our Planet climate..."
Famous Chinese art theorist TAO YOUNGBAI wrote: "Wang is probably the
first one of same trade, to hold up high the flag of the GREEN
REVOLUTION by incorporating artistic forms into the environmental
source material..."
ENTIRE
collection from 1999, THE CHINESE GREEN REVOLUTION is for donation to qualified museum or gallery.
Her next International SHOW will be held in New York City at AGORA
GALLERY (2007 October) and the theme will be "Only in New York City"
about everyday life in the busy streets of a Metropolitan City...
You could review some of the paintings at http://www.seahawkgallery.com/onlyinnewyork.htm

She is working on another theme
about: "PAST, PRESENT and BRIGHT FUTURE" which is about Chinese
farmers.
Constructions of infrastructure and new dwellings and even
building of entire cities, had rapidly changed farmer's life from primitive and poor individual to builders, carpenters, electricians,
plumbers and with good and steady income...You could
review some of the paintings at http://www.seahawkgallery.com/chinesebrightfuture.htm
THANK YOU!
