Project TKC is the Seahawk Chess Club’s new program designed to inform, teach and share the love of chess with kids. This project is strictly made up of volunteers who are willing to spend some of their free time to do this wonderful service. Everything is done free of charge at the location of the visiting school.
Program goals:
-Get kids excited about chess.
-Teach kids how to play chess who don’t know how to.
-Give away chess sets to kids who don't have them.
-Donate sets to all of our visiting schools.
-Get a chess club running in all of our visiting schools.
If you are a representative of a school that wants to participate in Project TKC, please e-mail us at seahawkchess@yahoo.com and we will respond to you as soon as possible! All schools will be listed on this site as participants. The school must be either elementary or middle and be located in the Wilmington area.
